A cargo area for a vehicle includes a load floor, a package tray, and a pair of cargo area side walls each comprising a package tray translating element including a vehicle-forward facing guide surface for translating the package tray between at least one deployed position at a spaced distance above the load floor and a stowed position on the load floor. Vehicle-forward upper and lower indents are disposed at spaced intervals along the vehicle-forward facing guide surface. A cooperating package tray retaining element includes vehicle-rearward upper and lower indents disposed on the cargo area side walls. A vehicle-forward edge of the package tray includes a follower element adapted for translating the package tray between the at least one deployed position and the stowed position. A vehicle-rearward edge of the package tray includes a retractable retaining element adapted to releasably and selectively engage the vehicle-rearward upper and lower indents.

LOCATING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE LOAD FLOOR PANEL MEASUREMENT

A compression molded vehicle floor panel includes a main body formed by compression molding and having a first side and an opposed second side, and at least one separately formed measurement locating member at least partially encapsulated in the main body during the compression molding. The measurement locating member defines a cavity having an open end at the first side of the main body. The cavity is configured to receive a locator pin of a measurement fixture to locate the compression molded vehicle floor panel in the measurement fixture for measurement of the compression molded vehicle floor panel.

CLOSED-FORM SEATBELT RETRACTOR ASSEMBLY

A closed-form seatbelt retractor assembly includes a package tray having sidewalls that define an interior cavity. An aperture is disposed through at least one of the sidewalls. A bracket is connected to the package tray proximate the aperture to cover at least a portion of the aperture. A seatbelt retractor is secured to an interior surface of the bracket and disposed substantially entirely within the interior cavity.

LAYERED BOARD

A trunk board includes a first panel and a second panel each made of a thermoplastic material, and a reinforcing body placed between the first panel and the second panel. The reinforcing body is a cylinder assembly including plural rows of cylinders made of paper arranged in parallel. Since the reinforcing body is the cylinder assembly made of paper, the trunk board has high rigidity resistant to high temperature conditions.

ADJUSTABLE LOAD FLOOR SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

An adjustable load floor system for a vehicle includes a support frame including a first side member, a second side member arranged opposite the first side member, and a support member. A first guide member is provided on the first side member. The first guide member includes a first continuous guide track having a first plurality of adjustment lands. A second guide member is provided on the second side member. The second guide member includes a second continuous guide track having a second plurality of adjustment lands. A floor panel includes a first guide element and a second guide element. The first guide element is translatable through the first continuous guide track and the second guide element is translatable through the second continuous guide track to position the support surface in one of a plurality of adjustment positions.

MULTI-PURPOSE SUPPORT DEVICE
20240409034 · 2024-12-12 ·

A support device includes a movable body provided movably between an advanced position for forming a projection on an object, and a retracted position for forming a recess on the object. The multi-purpose support device includes a casing body movably supporting the movable body, a biasing body exerting a biasing force to the movable body, and a control mechanism for the movable body. The control mechanism performs a cycle of controlling the movable body including: temporal holding of the movable body at a reference position; first pushing of the movable body at the reference position toward a retracted position against the biasing force; causing the biasing force to move the movable body after the first pushing, to an advanced position; second pushing of the movable body at the advanced position against the biasing force; and causing the biasing force to move the movable body to the reference position.

MOTOR VEHICLE HYBRID SHELF ASSEMBLY

ACCESSORIES FOR OFF-ROAD VEHICLES

A vehicle shown herein is a side by side utility vehicle having a plurality of accessories including a cover assembly for covering an opening in a cargo area of the vehicle and a coupler for coupling various components of the vehicle.

Vehicle cargo area package tray storage system

A cargo area for a vehicle includes a package tray behind the rear seat having an upper surface and a lower surface. The package tray is rotated about an axis to uncover the cargo area. The cargo area further includes a container detachably or permanently attached to the lower surface of the panel. The container may define one or more receptacles that are accessible when the panel is raised and lowered when the package tray is lowered to a horizontal orientation above the cargo area.
