A portable tray is provided for use in a motor vehicle. The portable tray includes a base adapted to be supported on a vehicle seat and a pair of spaced apart legs depending therefrom. A front end is positionable toward a front portion of the seat, and a rear end is positionable toward a rear portion of the seat. An upper planar surface of the base provides a level support surface for articles being used by an occupant of the motor vehicle. At least one cavity into which articles can be placed is provided. A recess is provided through the side wall and is in communication with the cavity, and allows for an object to pass therethrough and into the cavity. An opening provided is the base and a strap having a seat anchor attached thereto extends through the opening. The strap has a thickened portion which is positioned on one side of the rear wall to secure the strap to the base.

The storage compartment system further includes a bin having a second hinge portion having a locking feature and a plurality of arcuate flanges. The plurality of arcuate flanges defines an arcuate slot. The locking feature and the plurality of arcuate flanges define a gap in a hollow wall of the bin. The first hinge portion and the second hinge portion are connected to rotatably connect the lid to the bin.

A vehicular flower hanger is provided. The vehicular flower hander has an open collar for circumscribing a portion of one or more flowers in such a way as to pin or balance the flowers against the rear surface of a vehicle seat. The open portion of the open collar may facilitate placement of the flowers in the open collar as well as the open collar conforming to the rear surface. The open collar provides two spaced apart pivot points, from each pivot point extend a hanger element, each hanger element is adapted to be removably connected to the headrest of the seat. The pivotable connections further facilitates supporting the flowers against the rear seat through enabling the open collar to conform thereto.

A second aspect relates to a motor vehicle assembly having a seat adjustment unit by means of which a height of at least one vehicle seat relative to a vehicle floor can be adjusted. The seat adjustment unit is coupled with an adjustment mechanism of the console.

The fender is located below the storage compartment in a top-bottom direction of the vehicle. The first retaining wall is disposed on the outer surface of the fender and surrounds at least a portion of the through. A portion of the first retaining wall is closer to a front of the vehicle than the through hole in a front-rear direction of the vehicle.

Vehicle seating systems

A side facing seat includes a seat back element and a moveable seat base element disposed below the seat back element. The moveable seat base element is moveable at least between a stored position and a seating position. Movement of the moveable seat base element is controlled by an activation element that is configured to engage with a locking mechanism such that the locking mechanism is able to lock the moveable seat base element in the stored position or the seating position.

A vehicle storage system includes a base that is configured to be disposed on seating assemblies within a rear seating space. A first partition is coupled to the base, and the first partition extends along a first edge of the base. A second partition is spaced from the first partition. The second partition is coupled to the base and extends along a second opposing edge of the base. A cross member is coupled to a top edge of each of the first partition and the second partition. The cross member extends adjacent to a headliner.

The foot wells define inwardly tapered inner rear wheel wells. The wells each have a characteristic depth below the rear storage surface, a lateral width and a longitudinal length. The cargo management system includes left, right and center container portions, each having a base member including integrally formed floor and circumferentially arranged wall members nested within a foot well. The container portions each have a base member including integrally formed floor and wall members configured to be nested within a respective foot well. The closure members are each affixed to an inner wall member of said container portion by an elongated hinge.
