Vehicle mounted securing system
A vehicle mounted securing system is described. A rack is secured to the vehicle. Oblong slots formed in the rack provide a variety of locations at which to secure items to the racks. Brackets, strap mounts and the like are easily and removably attached to the rack by specially shaped disks or pucks which fit within the contours of a slot. Items may be secured by one or more bracket-puck combinations inside or outside of the vehicle.
FISHING EQUIPMENT CARRIER
Fishing equipment carriers include a rod housing and a support coupled to the rod housing. The support defines an aperture configured to receive a fishing rod therethrough.

ROOF RACK FOR A VEHICLE
Disclosed is a roof rack for a vehicle having: roof attachment means; a cargo frame adapted to releasably engage with cargo; means to enable the cargo frame to be moved between a substantially horizontal position above the roof of a vehicle and a substantially vertical position behind the vehicle; and means to control the rate of descent or ascent of the cargo frame;
the roof rack adapted such that in use the roof rack is attached to the roof of a vehicle via the roof attachment means and wherein a user standing behind the vehicle is able to pull the cargo frame or attached cargo towards himself such that the cargo frame and attached cargo controllably moves from a substantially horizontal position above the roof of the vehicle to a substantially vertical position behind the vehicle so that the user can load and/or unload the cargo and once this is done the user can push the cargo frame or attached cargo such that the frame controllably moves from a substantially vertical position behind the vehicle to a substantially horizontal position above the roof of the vehicle.

Built-in recreation device carrier
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative vehicle roofs, vehicles, and bicycle carriers. In an illustrative embodiment, a vehicle roof includes a rooftop and a forward recess section. The forward recess section is disposed near a forward end of the rooftop. The forward recess section defines a first cavity. The forward recess section includes a recreational device mount disposed within the first cavity and a lid configured to aerodynamically cover the first cavity.

RETAINING AND FASTENING MEANS TO A TOP RAILING PLACED ON A VEHICLE'S ROOF, FOR AT LEAST ONE MODULAR SELECTIVELY REMOVABLE PLATFORM, CARRIER OF A GENERIC OBJECT
Retaining and securing means for load carrying modular platform to a top railing on a vehicle's roof. Said retaining means are a pair of spaced apart longitudinal members linked by transversally spaced crossbars.
All crossbars have a constant area cross section, resting on small columns projecting upwardly from said longitudinal members.
The platforms are secured between pairs of crossbars having a portion of bottom surface bounded by opposite sidewalls with transversely aligned pairs of recesses, with profiles complementary to the crossbar's intercepting said bottom surface, forming a longitudinal slot.
The width of each crossbar is greater that the width of each recess, while the width of the slot is greater that the width of said column. The upward portion of each platform defines engagement and retention means for the individual load to he conveyed on each of said platforms.

Ladder spreader
A ladder comprises a front leg and a rear leg connected by a slider bracket. The slider bracket comprises a base and a track. The base comprises an aperture therein. The track extends away from the base and comprises a slot therein. The base is rotatably coupled to the front leg by a front pin in the aperture. The track is slidably coupled to the rear leg by a rear pin in the slot. When spreading the rear leg away from the front leg, the base pivots around the front pin as the rear pin slides in the slot of the track until the rear pin reaches the end of the slot in the track. The slot also may include a latch at the end of the slot that engages the rear pin.
