Internally Damped Crossbar Assembly Having a Friction Damped Isolator
A crossbar assembly for facilitating isolation of a sensor assembly from vibration of a payload mounting system on a vehicle comprising an outer crossbar segment, an inner crossbar segment, an isolator, and a damper. The outer crossbar segment comprises a payload mount interface operable to mount to a payload mount, and an outer isolator interface operable to mount to an isolator. The inner crossbar segment comprises a structure interface to mount to a structure, and an inner isolator interface operable to mount to the isolator. The isolator can be supported by the outer and inner crossbar segments. The damper is adjacent the isolator. The isolator is operable to deform in response to relative movement between the outer and inner crossbar segments. The isolator operates to partially decouple the outer crossbar segment from the inner crossbar segment and the damper dampens vibrations propagating between the outer and inner crossbar segments.
RETAINING DEVICE FOR AN EXTERIOR ADD-ON PART OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A retaining device for an exterior add-on part of a motor vehicle comprises a base part for exterior mounting on the motor vehicle, on which a connecting element is mounted with a first pivoting device, via which the connecting element can be pivoted relative to the base part about a first pivot axis between a working position and at least one protection position. A first spring device, via which the connecting element can be returned from the at least one protection position into the working position. A retaining element mounted on the connecting element, by a second pivoting device having a second spring device, to be pivotable about a second pivot axis between the working position and the protection position, wherein the retaining element can be returned to the working position by the second spring device.
RECORDING REPRODUCTION APPARATUS, RECORDING REPRODUCTION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A recording reproduction apparatus according to the present disclosure includes: a captured data acquisition unit that acquires first captured data captured by a first camera that captures an image of an outside of a vehicle; an event detection unit that detects an event regarding the vehicle; a recording controller that stores the first captured data in a period including at least a timing of occurrence of the event as event recording data; a reproduction controller that reproduces the event recording data; a display controller that causes a display unit to display the event recording data reproduced by the reproduction controller; and an attachment/detachment detection unit that detects an attachment/detachment state of the display unit to/from the vehicle, in which the reproduction controller starts, when it has been detected by the attachment/detachment detection unit that the display unit has been detached from the vehicle, reproduction of event recording data.
System and process for viewing in blind spots
There is disclosed a viewing system coupled to a motor vehicle having a frame having a roof, at least one support, and a body with the at least one support supporting the roof over the body. The system can comprise at least one camera, at least one screen coupled to the support. In addition, each camera is coupled to the at least one support and wherein said at least one screen is in communication with the first set of cameras, wherein said at least one screen displays images presented by the first set of cameras. This device can provide additional view in the blind spot of the vehicle.
PERIPHERAL INFORMATION ACQUISITION DEVICE AND VEHICLE
The present invention is a peripheral information acquisition device including an imaging unit configured to perform imaging in a front side direction or a rear side direction of a vehicle and a stay configured to support the imaging unit on the vehicle, wherein the stay is formed so that the imaging unit is allowed to protrude outward from a side surface of the vehicle in a width direction of the vehicle, and wherein, in a structure including the imaging unit and the stay, an outermost part of the structure in the width direction of the vehicle is disposed more inward in the width direction of the vehicle than an outermost part of the vehicle in the width direction.
Mounting base, and vehicle glass with mounting base
A mounting base for mounting in-vehicle components on an interior side of a vehicle glass, comprising a mirror base for mounting a rear-view mirror, and a component base for mounting an in-vehicle component other than the rear-view mirror is provided. The mirror base and the component base are each at least partially exposed on a mounting surface side of the vehicle glass. The mirror base is fixed to the component base, and formed of a material having a modulus of longitudinal elasticity greater than a modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the component base.
