High pressure water protection level speaker
A vehicle instrument panel assembly includes a front panel, a speaker disposed within the front panel for generating sounds and a cover disposed over the speaker. The cover includes a plurality of openings for the transmission of sound and a corresponding plurality of blockers at each of the plurality of openings. Each of the plurality of blockers includes a front face that is spaced apart forward of a corresponding one of the plurality of openings for blocking water intrusion.
Feedforward active noise control
Sound reduction includes receiving a reference signal corresponding to undesired sound present in the target space, and producing, based on the reference signal, a cancelling signal representative of the undesired sound present in the target space. Sound reduction further includes producing, based on the cancelling signal, sound to destructively interfere with the undesired sound present in the target space, and delaying at least one of the reference signal and the cancelling signal to reduce or compensate for runtime differences between signal paths that transfer the reference signal to the target space.
ACOUSTIC BAFFLE
The present disclosure relates to an acoustic baffle (2) for attenuating sound waves generated by an acoustic source (3). The acoustic baffle (2) is made up of one or more cells (8). The cells (8) each have opposing first and second walls (11, 12) defining at least one resonator chamber (9) for attenuating sound waves generated by the acoustic source (3). The first wall (11) has an inlet aperture (16) for ingress of sound waves generated by the acoustic source into the resonator chamber (9); and the second wall (12) has an outlet aperture (17) for egress of attenuated sound waves from the resonator chamber (9). The present disclosure also relates to an audio transducer assembly (3) including an acoustic baffle (2). Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to a vehicle including an acoustic baffle (2).
Acoustic Output Through Headrest Wings
The technology described in this document can be embodied in a headrest of a seat, the headrest including an enclosure for housing one or more acoustic transducers, and an adjustable headrest wing disposed in front of the enclosure. The headrest wing is coupled to the enclosure by a pivot, and configured to be adjusted to one of multiple positions within an angle range around the pivot. The headrest wing is also configured to support the head of a seat-occupant. The headrest further includes a connector disposed between the enclosure and a rear portion of the headrest wing. The connector is configured to provide an acoustic channel between the enclosure and the headrest wing such that audio signals from the one or more acoustic transducers are radiated outward through the headrest wing.
CONNECTORS FOR SPEAKERS DISPOSED IN HEADRESTS
The technology can be embodied in a headrest that includes an enclosure that includes one or more acoustic transducers. The headrest includes a bar for mounting on a backrest of the seat, such that the mounted headrest is movable with respect to the backrest to different positions over an adjustable range. The bar includes one or more wires each of which is coupled to an electrical contact at one end, and an acoustic transducer at an opposite end, the one or more wires disposed within a hollow interior portion of the bar. The bar also includes an opening for permitting an electrical connection to be established between an electrical connector coupled to an external source, and the electrical contact coupled to the one or more wires. The connection is maintained over the adjustable range of the headrest by a mechanical bias on either the electrical connector or the electrical contact.
In-vehicle device and audio output system
An in-vehicle device is installed in a moving body. The in-vehicle device includes: a speaker unit configured to emit sound in a first direction; a reflector unit configured to reflect the sound in a second direction different from the first direction; and a mechanical unit configured to change the second direction.
Sound output device for vehicle
A sound path member covers a rear side of a bumper reinforcement for reinforcing a bumper of a vehicle and forms a sound path for a loudspeaker device between the sound path member and the bumper reinforcement. The sound path member is provided so that the sound path has a return portion. The loudspeaker device is arranged between the bumper reinforcement and the sound path member. Consequently, a sound radiated from a front side of the loudspeaker device is radiated through an opening of the bumper reinforcement, and a sound radiated from a rear side of the loudspeaker device passes through the sound path and is then radiated through an opening.
Door Assembly of a Vehicle Having a Loudspeaker, and Vehicle Having a Door Assembly of This Type
A door assembly of a vehicle includes an outer door element, an inner door element, a loudspeaker, which is arranged on the inner door element, and a loudspeaker housing. The loudspeaker housing is arranged in an intermediate space between the inner door element and the outer door element and covers the loudspeaker. The loudspeaker housing also has at least one opening which communicates with the intermediate space, such that the intermediate space can be used as a resonance volume for the loudspeaker. A vehicle is also disclosed having a door assembly of this type.
AUDIO OUTPUT SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
An audio output system for a vehicle. The audio output system includes a volume setting device for setting a volume of an audio signal, an audio input for an audio input signal from an audio source, a warning tone device for providing a warning tone signal, an audio-level measuring device for measuring the audio level at the audio input, and a control unit. The audio-level measuring device is configured to limit the maximum audio level of the audio input signal to a predefined first threshold value as a function of the set volume. The control unit is configured to control an audio output signal on the basis of the warning tone signal, the audio input signal and the set volume, and to output an audible or visual notification if the audio input signal present at the audio input has no audio level.
Seat unit, vehicle, and conveyance seat
The time required to complete current-to-target state transitions of a plurality of movable portions constituting a seat is shortened. A seat unit 1 includes an occupant support portion S1, a plurality of movable mechanisms respectively moving a plurality of parts constituting the occupant support portion S1, and an ECU 40 controlling respective operations of the plurality of movable mechanisms. The ECU 40 causes each of the plurality of movable mechanisms to undergo a transition from a current state to a target state and the plurality of movable mechanisms have a first movable mechanism requiring a longest time for the transition. The ECU 40 causes the transitions of the plurality of movable mechanisms other than the first movable mechanism to be completed by completion of the transition of the first movable mechanism from the current state to the target state.
