MOUNT ASSEMBLY
Described herein is a mount assembly for mounting a device to a surface, including: a socket assembly; a mounting element including a mounting ball receivable by the socket assembly to pivotally couple the mounting element to the socket assembly to position the mounting element relative to the socket assembly; where the socket assembly includes: a resilient member configured to define a socket to receive and engage the mounting ball, the resilient member configured to permit the mounting ball to be urged into the socket against a resilient bias; a biasing element to bias the resilient member into the socket; and a retention element to inhibit deflection of an end of the resilient member away from the socket.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a position detector to detect a position of a vehicle body based on a signal transmitted from a positioning satellite. A mounting stay pivotally supported by a base stay includes a counter surface that opposes an upper surface of the base stay when the position detector is in a first position. The position detector is movable from the first position to a second position according to rotation of the mounting stay causing the counter surface to face upward. When the position detector is in the second position, a front portion of the mounting stay is higher than an upper end of the roof and a rear portion of the mounting stay is lower than the upper end of the roof.
MOUNT ASSEMBLY
Described herein is a mount assembly for mounting a device to a surface, including: a socket assembly; a mounting element including a mounting ball formation receivable by the socket assembly to pivotally couple the mounting element to the socket assembly, where the socket assembly includes a resilient member configured to define a socket to receive and engage the mounting ball formation, the member configured to permit the mounting ball formation to be urged into the socket against a resilient bias; the mount assembly further including a surface interface member configured to provide a frictional interface between the outer surface of the mounting ball formation and an inner wall of the socket defined by the resilient member.
Mounting device for headrest of vehicle seat
A mounting device for a smart device is adapted for removable connection to a headrest of a vehicle seat. The mounting device includes a first clamp including a first opening adapted for sliding receipt of a first headrest post of the headrest, and a second clamp separate from the first clamp and including a second opening adapted for sliding receipt of a second headrest post of the headrest. An adjustment mechanism operably connects the first clamp and the second clamp. The adjustment mechanism includes a cam latch aligned along a lateral distance separating the first clamp from the second clamp. The cam latch has a released position allowing for selective adjustment of the lateral distance between the first clamp from the second clamp and an engaged position for fixing the lateral distance between the first clamp and the second clamp.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes a cabin covering a driver section, a receiver to receive positional information from a satellite, and a stay to support the receiver. The receiver is above a roof of the cabin and supported at a cabin framework of the cabin via the stay.
CONSOLE WITH GROUNDED TRIM RING
A vehicle console includes a trim ring disposed over a periphery of a housing. The trim ring includes a polymeric material and is electrically conductive and grounded. A proximity switch assembly is retained in the housing. The proximity switch assembly includes a proximity sensor proximate a sensing pad for generating an activation field. The sensing pad is proximate the trim ring.
DASH CAM MOUNT
A mount for an electronic device includes a suction cup defining a front face attachable to a flat surface and an opposed rear face, a plunger having a plunger head attached to the rear face of the suction cup and a plunger arm extending away from the plunger head, a plunger stator defining a guide passage through which the plunger arm reciprocates relative to the plunger stator, a plunger actuator movably engaged with the plunger arm on an opposite side of the guide passage as the plunger head, an adapter attached to the plunger stator on the same side of the guide passage as the plunger head, the adapter defining an opening through which the plunger arm extends and a wire routing channel at least partially around a periphery of the adapter, and a mounting arm extending from the adapter and connectable to an electronic device.
Asymmetric airbag assembly for steering wheel assembly
An airbag module assembly for mounting to a steering wheel assembly has an airbag, a housing and a visual display unit. The housing has a chamber for stowing the airbag. The housing has an attachment for rigidly fixing to a steering wheel and a forward-facing opening of the chamber for receiving the airbag. The cover encloses the housing and stowed airbag. The housing is fixed to the steering wheel offset and positioned removed from a center region of the steering wheel spaced from a rim of the steering wheel. The airbag module is configured upon deployment to have the inflated airbag project outward over the rim toward an occupant.
Adjustable Removable Device Caddy
An adjustable removable device caddy is disclosed for securing devices including, but not limited to a smartphone or other phone, a tablet, an e-reader, a power bank, a speaker, a multimedia player, a two-way radio, a flashlight or other light, a television or other display, a GPS, a laser range finder, a beverage, or other device. One embodiment of the invention utilizes a combination of one or more seat, wing, and face plate, to create an adjustable cavity that can accommodate a number of devices with varying width and thickness. The adjustable removable device caddy can be mounted to various mounting surfaces including, but not limited to a golf cart, automobile, all-terrain vehicle, maintenance vehicle, boat, pushcart, bicycle, motorcycle, scooter, tent, canopy, flat surface, and the like.
