The cradle is shaped and dimensioned for selectively receiving and securely holding the video system. Exemplary placement could include headrest, seatback, overhead, or in-dash mounting. Hinging or sliding could be vertical or horizontal. Various other mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical aspects of the methods and systems are described.

The disclosure relates to a vehicle comprising a front seat section and a rear seat section. The front seat section comprises a driver seat and a utility space located at the side of the driver seat. The rear seat section comprises multiple seats and rear doors on either side of the rear seat section. The front seat section comprises a single front door comprising a front door surface at the side of the front seat section adjacent the driver seat, and a fixed surface element located at the opposite side of the front seat section facing towards the front door surface of the single front door, such that the utility space comprises the fixed surface element. The utility space is accessible to a person sitting in the rear seat section.

A display system for a passenger cabin of a vehicle has a seating area and a liftgate opening. The display system includes a flexible display screen having a front side for displaying images. A transport assembly is configured to be mounted proximate a headliner of the passenger cabin over the seating area. The transport assembly includes a motorized carrier coupled to the flexible display screen. The motorized carrier is configured to move the flexible display screen to a first viewing position hanging from a forward end of the transport assembly. The flexible display screen is moveable to a second viewing position hanging vertically from a rearward end of the transport assembly and is further moveable to a third viewing position on the transport assembly and viewable above the seating area.
