A vehicle cargo bed structure includes a bed floor with an accessory attachment track, a tailgate and a tailgate gap cover. The tailgate gap cover has an attachment structure that includes a first part and a second part. The first part is inserted into a channel between side walls of the accessory attachment track. The second part is positioned above the side walls of the accessory attachment track with a fastening member extending between the first part and the second part clamping the attachment structure to the accessory attachment track. The tailgate gap cover is removable and re-attachable to the accessory attachment track. The tailgate gap cover is pivotal between a horizontal orientation with an adjacent tailgate in an open position and an upright orientation with the tailgate in the closed position.

An improved tarp specifically configured and adapted for transporting cargo in a truck bed, and unloading cargo from the truck bed at a desired location. The tarp includes several foldable flaps or panels which may be used to secure the cargo within the tarp. The tarp may include several loops which may be used for pulling the tarp out of the truck bed and unloading the cargo from the tarp. Also, the tarp may have several strengthening strips which pull the cargo out of the truck bed.

The load floor assembly also includes an embedded layer positioned intermediate at least one of the first and second surface layers and the structural core. At least one electronic component is incorporated into the embedded layer, to provide a secondary functionality to the load floor assembly.

The component may comprise an assembly with the heating element produced in a mold tool by a process comprising assembling the heating element between a cover layer and a fiber layer to provide a pre-form assembly; consolidating the pre-form assembly (e.g. including trimming/compressing and/or heating); forming the pre-form assembly in the mold tool into a compression-formed body with a shape; applying a cover to the compression-formed body to provide a compression-formed panel. The compression-formed panel may be provided with the shape and an external surface provided by the cover. The texture/feel at the external surface of the compression-formed panel for the component may obscure the presence of the heating element within the component. The component may comprise a console; floor console; tunnel console; armrest; instrument panel; door; door panel; trim component; or panel.

A trim element for a tailgate of a motor vehicle. A receptacle is formed in the trim element which is open towards an inside of the vehicle and in which a warning triangle received in a case can be placed or is placed. The receptacle has: a rear wall portion having at least one elastic clamping element; two front restraining portions; a support portion; and the clamping element, the front restraining portions and the support portion are designed in such a way that they are in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting connection with the case when the warning triangle is placed. The rear wall portion has a guide portion above the clamping element which is curved concavely towards the inside of the vehicle and along which the case of the warning triangle can be introduced into or removed from the receptacle.

A vehicle door trim panel has a vehicle interior-facing A-side and a vehicle door structure-facing B-side. The vehicle door trim panel includes a pocket portion that includes a side portion and a wall portion that surrounds and extends outward from the pocket portion. The wall portion has a first portion. The B-side of the first portion of the wall portion is concave and faces generally vehicle-downward. A thickness of the first portion of the wall portion is less than a thickness of the pocket portion adjacent to the first portion of the wall portion.
