A vehicle cargo compartment structure includes a first side trim and a second side trim that include a first projecting portion and a second projecting portion receiving a cargo floor board thereon. The first side trim further includes a first upper support portion above the first projecting portion and a first lower support portion under the first projecting portion. The first upper support portion supports a first end of a cargo cover assembly in a first state and includes a first upper opposite surface that is opposite the first end in the first state. The first lower support portion supports the first end in a second state and includes a first lower opposite surface that is opposite the first end in the second state. The first lower opposite surface is more to a vehicular exterior side in the vehicular width direction compared to the first upper opposite surface.
Multi-panel platform support for pick-up truck bed
A vehicle includes a two-panel support structure for each side of a bed of a pick-up truck. Each side includes an upper panel and a lower panel between the upper panel and the bed. The upper panel includes multiple indentations from a cab-side to a tailgate side of the bed. The lower panel includes a plurality of extensions that extend into one or more of the multiple indentations. The combination of each indentation and extension creates a pocket into which a platform, board, or other support structure, such as cross-brace, can be placed. The support structure can extend from one indentation on one side to a corresponding indentation on another side of the bed. The support structure creates support in conjunction with other support structures for a larger platform, such as a piece of plywood the size of the bed.
TRIM ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
A trim assembly for a vehicle seat is provided with a first trim panel adapted to be pivotally connected to a lower region of a rear surface of a backrest that is pivotally adjustable relative to a seat cushion, to cover a gap between the backrest and the seat cushion in an upright position of the backrest. A second trim panel is connected to the first trim panel to cover the gap in a forward position of the backrest relative to the seat cushion.
MULTI-PANEL PLATFORM SUPPORT FOR PICK-UP TRUCK BED
A vehicle includes a two-panel support structure for each side of a bed of a pick-up truck. Each side includes an upper panel and a lower panel between the upper panel and the bed. The upper panel includes multiple indentations from a cab-side to a tailgate side of the bed. The lower panel includes a plurality of extensions that extend into one or more of the multiple indentations. The combination of each indentation and extension creates a pocket into which a platform, board, or other support structure, such as cross-brace, can be placed. The support structure can extend from one indentation on one side to a corresponding indentation on another side of the bed. Vehicle bumper apparatus and method
A vehicle bumper apparatus including a first material; a second material; a filling; and an attachment device. The first material may be connected to the second material such that the filling is between the first material and the second material, and a plurality of bumps are formed in the first material, and a plurality of bumps are formed in the second material. The attachment device may be attached to one of the plurality of bumps of the first material, wherein the attachment device is configured to attach the vehicle bumper apparatus to a vehicle so that at least part of the vehicle bumper apparatus covers a vehicle bumper and a rear vehicle outer wall. The attachment device may include hooks and/or loops configured to attach to loops and/or hooks on the vehicle. The attachment device, and the plurality of bumps of the first and second material may be elongated.

A seating assembly includes a seat base operably coupled with a seatback. A panel assembly includes a first panel coupled with the seatback and a second panel hingedly coupled with the first panel. The second panel includes a connector assembly having a housing and a support slidably coupled with the housing. The second panel is movable between a first position and a second position. The second panel is vertically aligned with the first panel in the first position and is substantially coplanar with the first panel in the second position.
