A reflection blocking system for preventing light from reflecting off of reflective surfaces of a center console and a gearshift knob includes a center console positioned in a vehicle and a gearshift handle which is positioned in and extends upwardly from the center console. A console cover is provided which comprises a panel with an aperture extending therethrough for receiving the gearshift handle therethrough such that the panel covers the center console. The panel has an upper surface which is nonreflective and faces away from the center console, and the panel is opaque.

An automotive decorative panel includes a decorative film, a touch icon component, and a light source system. The decorative film has an optical density between 0.2 and 2.0 and includes a substrate and a decorative layer disposed on the substrate. The touch icon component is disposed under the decorative film and includes a light-shielding pattern layer having an optical density between 3.5 and 6.0, a light diffusion layer disposed under the light-shielding pattern layer, and a touch layer. The light-shielding pattern layer has a pattern area that is light-permeable and a peripheral area that is light-impermeable. The light source system is disposed on a side of the touch icon component and configured to emit light toward the touch icon component.

An arrangement for opening and closing an opening in a covering surface of an interior trim piece in a vehicle that includes an adjustable cover element in the form of a flat element. The cover element is movably mounted on a frame element that is connected to the interior trim piece. A rotational or pivoting movement of two pivoted levers that are pivotably mounted in bearing cheeks of the frame element is converted into a translational movement of the cover element. The cover element is urged into a defined path by a shaft penetrating bearing blocks of the cover element and by two toothed wheels which are located at the free ends of the shaft and each of which meshes with a first rack located on the bearing cheek.

A power outlet seal for a vehicle includes an iris seal and an actuator knob configured to translate the iris seal between an opened configuration and a closed configuration. The iris seal is defined by a plurality of blades disposed concentrically on a base ring. The actuator knob includes an actuator ring for biasing the plurality of blades to the opened configuration.
