PASSENGER COMPARTMENT STRUCTURE
A passenger compartment structure that includes: a passenger compartment that serves as an accommodation space for vehicle occupants; and a wall portion that is capable of selectively being put into a partitioned state and a connected state, the passenger compartment being partitioned into a plurality of individual spaces in the partitioned state, at least a neighboring pair of the individual spaces being connected with one another in the connected state, and in a case in which an operation to put neighboring individual spaces into the connected state is performed in each of the neighboring individual spaces, the wall portion putting the neighboring individual spaces in which the operation has been performed into the connected state.
Integrated center console latch opening close-out feature
A storage bin shell for a vehicle includes a main bin portion defining a storage bin having a latch opening and an integrated latch opening close-out member configured to provide a latch opening close-out. The integrated latch opening close-out member includes a hinged portion, which may be a living hinge. The hinged portion further includes a retainer for engaging a co-operating receiver defined in the main bin portion, whereby rotating or folding the hinged portion allows engaging the co-operating receiver by the retainer to define the latch opening close-out.
Airbag system for a vehicle
An airbag system for a vehicle includes a trim component having an A-side configured to face into a passenger compartment of the vehicle toward a vehicle seat and a B-side configured to face away from the passenger compartment. A base plate has a cavity disposed therein and is configured for attachment to the B-side of the trim component to form an at least substantially closed cavity configured to receive an airbag arrangement therein. The base plate has an outer perimeter generally conforming to an outer perimeter of the trim component. An airbag arrangement includes an inflatable airbag and an inflator configured to inflate the airbag, and may be disposed in the substantially closed cavity.
Temporary placement structure for sub cover
Groove formation portions that define insertion grooves are located in two opposing inner sides of an opening of a main cover. Engagement shafts are located on side portions of the sub-cover that oppose the inner sides. The engagement shafts are insertable into the insertion grooves from an outside and have a thickness that is larger than a groove width of the insertion grooves. The groove formation portions are elastic and deformable to allow insertion of the engagement shafts when the engagement shafts are inserted from the outside. The groove formation portions elastically return to their original forms after insertion of the engagement shafts to engage the engagement shafts and restrict separation of the engagement shafts in a reverse direction. The groove formation portions support the sub-cover to allow the sub-cover to open while engaged with the engagement shafts.
VEHICLE TRIM ELEMENT COMPRISING A DEFORMABLE PART FOR DELIMITING A FUNCTIONAL SPACE
The vehicle trim element includes a body defining the outer surface of the trim element, said outer surface including at least one main area and at least one secondary area, the body including at least one deformable part forming a flap movable in the secondary area between a first stable position, in which said flap extends substantially in the continuation of the main area, and at least one second stable position, in which the flap forms a non-zero angle with the main area so as to extend protruding from said main area. In the second position, the flap forms a wall on one side of which a functional space extends opposite the secondary area.
Vehicle identification number carpet cover
A carpet cover is provided for a vehicle identification number. That carpet cover includes a first layer of material having a first window and a first flap closing the first window as well as a second layer of material having a second window and a second flap closing the second window. This second window overlies and overlaps the first window and the second flap overlies and overlaps the first flap.
Automobile lid device
The automobile lid device capable of opening and closing an opening of an automobile interior component includes a lid body configured to open and close the opening by being attached to and detached from the opening; a first engaging claw arranged at a periphery edge of the lid body, the first engaging claw having an outwardly downward inclination section; and a second engaging claw arranged at a periphery edge of the opening having an inwardly upward inclination section. Faces of the outwardly downward inclination section and the inwardly upward inclination section are engaged as being mutually contacted such that the outwardly downward inclination section crawls under a lower face of the inwardly upward inclination section when the lid body is attached to the opening.
Cover assembly to detachably contact an interior trim and interior trim assembly employing the same
The present invention, in one or more embodiments, provides a cover assembly to detachably contact an interior trim. The cover assembly includes a cover, having along a longitudinal direction, head and tail portions and a middle portion positioned there-between. The middle portion has, along the longitudinal direction, first and second middle portions and a bridge portion positioned there-between. The first middle portion has an elevation along a transverse direction over the second middle portion via the bridge portion, where the cover is to disengage the interior trim when a pre-determined force is exerted onto the bridge portion in an exertion direction from the second middle portion toward the first middle portion.
Steering apparatus
A steering apparatus includes: a steering shaft coupled to a center of a steering wheel and movable in a front-rear direction of a vehicle; a steering shaft cover covering the steering shaft and allowing the steering shaft to be movable therein; and a protector attached to the steering shaft cover and allowing a part of a wire harness to be inserted and accommodated therein, the wire harness being a plurality of electric wires bundled and routed along the steering shaft. The wire harness positioned in the protector is routed in a state where the plurality of electric wires are unbundled and scattered.
Arrangement for opening and closing an opening in an interior trim piece of a vehicle
An arrangement for opening and closing an opening in a covering surface of an interior trim piece in a vehicle that includes an adjustable cover element in the form of a flat element. The cover element is movably mounted on a frame element that is connected to the interior trim piece. A rotational or pivoting movement of two pivoted levers that are pivotably mounted in bearing cheeks of the frame element is converted into a translational movement of the cover element. The cover element is urged into a defined path by a shaft penetrating bearing blocks of the cover element and by two toothed wheels which are located at the free ends of the shaft and each of which meshes with a first rack located on the bearing cheek.
