A tether cover structure has a trim panel, a tether bracket and a cover. The trim panel defines an opening with a lower portion being defined along an upright portion of the trim panel. An upper portion of the opening is defined along an upper horizontal ledge of the trim panel. The tether bracket has a lower portion that is attached to an upright panel and is aligned with the lower portion of the opening of the trim panel. The upper portion of the opening is dimensioned such that the tether bracket extends out of the upper portion of the opening. The cover is dimensioned to attach to the trim panel covering the lower portion of the opening concealing the lower portion of the tether bracket. The upper portion of the tether bracket extends upward through the upper portion of the opening.

A vehicle interior panel includes an electromagnet configured to add a localized recess to a base contour of the panel when activated. The recess can provide a visual and tactile feature along the outer surface of the panel to allow a user to interact with the panel. The panel may be touch sensitive and/or include a proximity sensor that triggers formation of the recess.

A vehicle seat, in which a seat back configured to be superimposed on a seat cushion by folding forward, comprises a shield and a cover member. The shield hides the end of a first rotating shaft that rotates the seat back with respect to the seat cushion. The cover member is flexible and has a plate-shape. The cover member is arranged on a corner portion of the back cover of the seat back in order to hide the shield from the front. The cover member has an elastic member extending from a lower end of the cover member. The elastic member is hooked to the shield. The elastic member is provided between the cover member and the shield so that the elastic member remains in tension even when the seat back is superimposed on the seat cushion by folding forward.

The present invention relates to a trim component of or for a vehicle. The trim component includes a base body having a first surface and a second surface, the second surface being the visible side of the trim component when mounted to the vehicle. One or more receptacles are arranged on the second surface and either formed by the base body or fastened to the base body. At least one insert is removably fastened to the receptacle and/or the base body. Moreover, the present invention is directed to a vehicle which comprises such a trim component.

A column cover surrounding and covering a steering column includes a cover body and a detachable member disposed further forward relative to the cover body and fastened to the cover body, with a clip, to allow the detachable member to be continuous with the cover body. The detachable member is disposed behind an instrument panel R/F and faces the instrument panel R/F with an interval along a length of a vehicle between the detachable member and the instrument panel R/F.
