Automobile door trim
There is provided a door trim including: an armrest; an ornament member coupled to the armrest; and a planar heater configured to warm the armrest or the ornament member. The planar heater is disposed between a resin core member and a surface member which form the armrest or the ornament member, and includes a nonwoven fabric and a heating wire fixed to the nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric includes first and second bonded parts and a connection part connecting between the first and second bonded parts. The second bonded part is routed to be disposed on the back surface side of the armrest (the back surface side of the ornament member) by the connection part being inserted into an interface gap between the armrest and the ornament member. A thermostat is mounted on the second bonded part.
Vehicle trim structure
A vehicle trim structure includes a flange provided at a vehicle trim and configured to contact a counterpart member, wherein an end portion of the flange that is configured to contact the counterpart member is formed from a soft material, and a contact face of the end portion is configured with a circular arc-shaped cross-section profile.
Interior trim of a motor vehicle
An interior trim covers sections of door cutouts (1a, 1b) of a motor vehicle body facing a floor. The interior trim has a first trim panel (2a) for covering a section (3a) of the first door cutout (1a) facing the vehicle floor, a second trim panel (2b) for covering a section (3b) of the second door cutout (1b) facing the vehicle floor (31), and a third trim panel (8) that extends in the direction of the B pillar between the door cutouts (1a, 1b). The trim panels (2a, 2b, 8) compensate for tolerances during assembly of the interior trim so that the first and second trim panels (2a, 2b) can be shifted relative to each other in the longitudinal direction, and the third trim panel (8) and the first and second trim panels (2a, 2b) can be shifted relative to each other in the vertical direction.
Body molding and method of applying an accent strip to a body molding
An elongate base structure for receiving an accent strip for a vehicle molding. The elongate base structure has top and bottom grooves defined in an outward facing surface, and a middle base portion with at least one adhesive region for receiving an adhesive, such as adhesive tape. At least one slot is defined in one of the top or bottom grooves adjacent to and extending along the at least one adhesive region in order to allow the liner of the adhesive tape to be removed through the slot after the accent strip has been positioned in the base structure. An aperture is defined in the middle base portion, between the top and bottom grooves, for use by an assembler to support and position the accent strip in the base structure. The base structure may define an opening at each end to receive and conceal the ends of the accent strip.
Upper interior structure of vehicle
In an upper interior structure of a vehicle of the present invention, a deployment guide portion for guiding a curtain airbag toward a cabin side when the curtain airbag is deployed. The deployment guide portion comprises a first guide part and a second guide part. The first guide part is arranged above a top ceiling and on an outward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the curtain airbag, facing an upper end portion of a pillar trim, so as to restrain the curtain airbag from being deployed outwardly in the vehicle width direction. The second guide part is arranged between the first guide part and the top ceiling, extending in a vertical direction, so as to restrain the curtain airbag from being deployed into a gap between the first guide part and the upper end portion of the pillar trim.
VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENT AND METHOD OF MAKING A VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENT
A vehicle interior component and method of making a vehicle interior component where a plurality of hollow stitch acceptance holes are formed in a component substrate to accommodate a stitch seam in a decorative covering that is attached to the component substrate. The stitch seam extends through the decorative covering to create filled stitch acceptance holes from the hollow stitch acceptance holes. The stitch seam can be created after an in-mold grain process in which the component substrate and decorative covering are laminated together.
Adjustable locator for interior trim panel of vehicle
A locator assembly for an interior trim panel of a vehicle comprises a bracket and an adjustable locator. The bracket is disposed in the interior trim panel. The adjustable locator comprises a locator pin and is rotatably supported by the bracket. The adjustable locator is capable of rotating from a first position to a second position. The locator pin is disposed in a first location when the adjustable locator is in the first position. The locator pin is disposed in a second location when the adjustable locator is in the second position. The first location of the locator pin is displaced a first distance in a first direction from the second location of the locator pin.
INTERIOR VARIABLE VEHICLE
An internal variable vehicle may include instrument panels provided on a side of an internal space of the vehicle, having a structure in which a portion thereof overlaps, configuring an embedding portion of the internal space when being developed, and forming an opening through which the internal space of the vehicle is externally exposed out of the vehicle when the portion thereof overlaps; a seat movable from the internal space of the vehicle to the outside; a guide provided on a floor of the internal space of the vehicle, and providing a path in which the seat is movable from the internal space of the vehicle to an opening side of the instrument panels; and a fixing module configured of fixing the seat to one point of the guide and releasing the fixing of the seat from the point of the guide when the seat is required to move to the outside of the vehicle through the opening of the instrument panels.
DOOR ARMREST
An armrest upper part covering an upper portion of an armrest lower part includes a front end portion adjacent to a switch finisher and an engagement claw portion extending from the front end portion. An upper part of the engagement claw portion is covered with the switch finisher. At the armrest lower part, a fixing portion for engagement with the engagement claw portion is provided. At a back surface of the switch finisher adjacent to a front of the armrest upper part and covering the upper portion of the armrest lower part, a restriction piece is provided at a position facing the fixing portion via the engagement claw portion. The restriction piece restricts detachment of the engagement claw portion from the fixing portion.
Methods of visually checking for alignment between instrument panel ornaments and door ornaments using alignment tools
A method of visually checking for alignment between an instrument panel ornament and a door ornament is provided. The method includes locating an enlarged head portion of an alignment tool on a top edge of the instrument panel ornament. The enlarged head portion includes a side measurement feature with a height for checking for a misalignment condition between the instrument panel ornament and the door ornament. It is determined whether a top edge of the door trim ornament is located within the height of the side measurement feature with the enlarged head portion resting on the top edge of the instrument panel ornament.
