Magnetoresistance adjustment device of fitness equipment
An improved magnetoresistance adjustment device of fitness equipment suitable for using in a fan-type fitness equipment. The fitness equipment having a traction rope, and including: a resistance wheel mounted on the fitness equipment and having a wheel and an axle, the axle being mounted on the wheel; a magnetoresistive ring mounted on the resistance wheel; a fixing member fixedly mounted on the axle and having a positioning bolt, a direction of the fixing member extending to the magnetoresistive ring being a displacement direction; a displacement member having a displacement hole, a fixing portion and a magnetoresistive portion, the displacement hole allowing the positioning bolt to pass through, and the displacement member repeatedly displacing along the displacement direction to bring the magnetoresistive portion closer to or away from the magnetoresistive ring, and the fixing portion being connected to the traction rope and driven by the traction rope.
Programmable, gravity based, weight system
A weight system includes a plurality of belt/pulley sets. Each belt/pulley set has a weight set. Each weight set is based on a formula of (2.sup.n)(X), where X is a basic weight, n is an integer number configured to represent a selection of the basic weight by a user, and n is different for each basic weight. A carrier plate is utilized for bearing the weight sets during a movement of an exercise. A clamping mechanism is utilized to couple each belt/pulley set to the carrier plate. In addition, the weight system includes an exercise device for user to exercise, such as a bar or handle. A cable is coupled to the carrier plate, weight sets, and the exercise device. In another embodiment, the formula may be utilized in a variable distance system or robotic arm where a plurality of cylinders moves an object, such as a travel arm.
Exercise apparatus and method
A weighted hip and lower back exerciser, for use in isolating and working out a targeted portion of the lower back or gluteal muscles through weighted internal and external rotation, that includes a framework, a upper body support section, a weight system, a the weighted leg pivot section. A user secures one of his/her legs onto a leg pad and pivots the leg pad by rotating his/her hip and lower back. The leg pad is connected to weights by a band passing through a pair of pulleys and a pulley cord guide. When the user swivels the leg rest, the user tenses the band thus lifting the weights, and resistance is generated. The user will isolate the rotational movement to the hip and lower back by leaning onto a chest support and resting his/her arms on an arm support mounted on a vertical rack above the weight assembly.
MULTI-DEGREE OF FREEDOM RESISTANCE EXERCISE DEVICE
A rehabilitative and/or exercise machine that has a frame with attachments to multiple independent bidirectional resistance devices (pneumatic, hydraulic, spring actuated, pulley system, cam, or any other resistance devices) used by the arms and/or legs to provide resistance against movement of the user's appendages in two substantially opposed directions. The resistance devices may have a mechanism such as one or more valves, brakes, springs, or the like that control bi-directional resistance. The action of the arms and/or legs in bi-directional resistance offers near full body exercise of the agonist/antagonist muscles using flexion and extension action of the larger muscle groups in a gait pattern, simultaneously. Hand engaging members attach to the arm resistance devices and foot engaging members attach to the leg resistance devices. The unit may include an attached inclined backboard, mat, bench, or cushion to fully or partially support the user, such as for the user to sit or lay on. The unit may have separate adjustment mechanisms for adjusting the height and/or length of the various portions of the unit to adjust the range of motion of the appendages. The unit may have devices to monitor pulse, oxygen flow and other vital signs.
Muscle training method and muscle training system
A muscle training method includes the following steps that are repeated alternately to perform training of a muscle of a user: a pressuring and exercise step (S30, S50, S70, S90) of winding a belt around at least one of four limbs of the user and applying specific pressure thereto so as to restrict blood circulation of the muscle of the user without stopping the blood circulation, and asking the user to perform load-applied exercise to apply load of specific weight to the muscle of the user; and an exercise stopping step (S40, S60, S80, S100) of asking the user to stop the load-applied exercise while continuously applying the specific pressure to the user. The specific weight is set at a value smaller than maximum weight necessary for the user to exert maximum muscle force.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMPUTERIZED ISOKINETIC STRENGTH TRAINING AND REHABILITATION SYSTEM
Presented is an Isokinetic exercise system having a base, a pedestal, a vertical member, a height adjustable vertical column for resting a rotary actuator on top, a resistance control valve unit with rotatable dials connected to the actuator, wherein the rotatable dials are selectively used to rotatably set a range of resistances for opposing movements to accommodate varying exerted forces by a user performing an intended exercise. The system further includes an electronics module to detect angle and pressure related data (as a measure of voltages) associated with the actuator, an A to D converter to convert the detected voltages in a digital form, a display unit embodying a program product for receiving, and processing the detected voltages to generate and display a muscular performance assessment report, store the received voltages for future comparison and enable printing the muscular performance assessment report, enable configuring next intended exercise.

Rehabilitation device and its use for exercising the shoulder region
The present invention relates to a rehabilitation device adapted for rehabilitating and/or exercising the shoulder region of a user, as well as to the use of such a rehabilitation device. The device enables an upright position of the upper body during the exercise, and shoulder supports holding the shoulder position of the user stationary during the exercise, in order to direct the muscle activation precisely into the small muscles of the shoulder region.
