BELT PRE-TENSIONING AND POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR TRAINING A MUSCLE
A belt for use in a BFR system with an outer belt material hermetically sealed to an inner belt material along a perimeter, thereby forming at least one inflatable chamber, the inflatable chamber having an input port for accepting a gas into the chamber, the belt further comprising a first fastening means in communication with the outer belt material, for attaching to a second fastening means in communication with the outer belt material, thereby locking a circumference of the belt, when wrapped around a user's limb, and the belt further comprising a pre-tensioning system for prescribing and applying a known amount of initial compression to the limb by the belt.
Training Equipment And Method
Training equipment is configured for targeted muscle actuation. The training equipment contains a muscle-powered actuating element and a damping system having two components that can move in relation to one another. One of the components is operatively connected to the actuating element, such that a movement of the actuating element can be damped. A field-sensitive rheological medium and a field generation system are associated with the damping system, in order to generate and control the field strength. A damping characteristic can be influenced by the field generation system. A control system is suited and configured to control the field generation system in a targeted manner in accordance with a training parameter, such that the movement of the actuating element can be damped taking into account the training parameter.
EXERCISE ASSEMBLY FOR PERFORMING DIFFERENT ROWING ROUTINES
An exercise assembly structured to perform different rowing routines characterized different rowing motions. A resistance device is movable within a chamber and is cooperatively structured therewith to resist such movement. A drive assembly includes two drive sections each independently connected in driving relation to said resistance device. A connector structure includes two connector members each attached to a handle and connected in driving relation to a different one of said drive sections. The handle is selectively movable through the plurality of different rowing motions, at least one of which results in the two drive sections concurrently driving the resistance member and being concurrently driven by the two connector members. At least one other rowing motion of the handle is defined by each drive section alternately driving the resistance member and being alternately driven by interconnected ones of said connector members.
EXERCISE MACHINE ENHANCEMENTS
An exercise machine is disclosed. The exercise machine comprises a tension generating device. The exercise machine comprises a translatable arm mount coupled to the tension generating device. The exercise machine comprises an arm coupled to the translatable arm mount. The exercise machine comprises a cable coupled to the tension generating device via the arm.

Muscle training method and muscle training system
A muscle training method includes the following steps that are repeated alternately to perform training of a muscle of a user: a pressuring and exercise step (S30, S50, S70, S90) of winding a belt around at least one of four limbs of the user and applying specific pressure thereto so as to restrict blood circulation of the muscle of the user without stopping the blood circulation, and asking the user to perform load-applied exercise to apply load of specific weight to the muscle of the user; and an exercise stopping step (S40, S60, S80, S100) of asking the user to stop the load-applied exercise while continuously applying the specific pressure to the user. The specific weight is set at a value smaller than maximum weight necessary for the user to exert maximum muscle force.
Programmable, gravity based, variable force/weight system
A plurality of belt/pullet sets. Each belt/pulley set has a weight set. Each weight set is based on a formula of (2)n-power(X) where X is a basic weight and n is integral number for selecting a weight by a user. Each weight uses a different n-power. A carrier plate is utilized for bearing a weight set during a movement of an exercise. A clamping mechanism is utilized to couple each belt/pulley set to the carrier plate. In addition, the weight system includes an exercise device for a user to exercise, such as a bar or handle. A cable is coupled to the carrier plate, weight set, and the exercise device. In another embodiment, the formula may be utilized in a variable distance system or robotic arm where a plurality of cylinders moves an object, such as a travel arm.
Incentive spirometer for sustained maximal inspiration
An incentive spirometer is provided that allows a user to achieve Sustained Maximal Inspiration (SMI) through the use of helical tubes. Specifically, the incentive spirometer includes three chambers, wherein each chamber includes a ball traveling upwards through three helical tubes in sequential order and subsequently dropping down through a basket. Here, each of the helical tubes and corresponding baskets generally represent various levels of lung capacity achieved with repetitive use and operation of the incentive spirometer.
Gluteus maximus exercise device
An exercise device for targeting the gluteus maximus muscle uses a stand to hold up a bellows pump against a vertical surface while a user repeatedly pushes the pump with a foot. The pump has a one-way inlet valve and a small restrictor opening to allow air to leave the bellows slowly, providing a mechanism for selecting different resistance values. A catch is used to keep the pump in the compressed position during storage.
