Modifications for pneumatic pogo sticks
10238907 · 2019-03-26 · ·

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to pneumatic pogo sticks having features that allow for the jumping and/or landing characteristics of the pogo stick to be varied. These characteristics may even be modified by a user during use. For example, the housing of the pogo stick may have multiple air chambers and air may be selectively transferred between the multiple air chambers. The transfer of air may change the volume, air pressure, compression ratio, and spring-characteristics of the one or more air chambers in which air is compressed during the compression stroke of the pogo stick. These changes will affect the jumping and/or landing characteristics of the pogo stick and in some cases may allow the user to obtain a greater jump height. At the same time, these features may also allow the pogo stick to be collapsed so that it can be easily stored, packaged, and transported.

TENNIS TRAINING APPARATUS

A sports training/exercise apparatus attached to a swinging sports apparatus, typically a racquet and most specifically a tennis racquet. The apparatus includes a drag chute with a rigid member disposed therearound and a clamp secured to each side of the drag chute. A transverse support rod is positioned between the clamps and includes an aperture therein, The apparatus further includes brackets at the top and bottom of the racquet head. A longitudinal support rod is positioned between the brackets and extends through the aperture in the transverse support rod. Thus, the transverse support rod, the side clamps, and the drag chute are slidable along the longitudinal support rod to adjust resistance. A locking mechanism can be used to lock the transverse support rod in a position along the longitudinal support rod.

Postural dynamics exercise system

Exercise apparatuses that may be particularly useful or treating and strengthening connective tissue. For example, apparatuses that may have or be reconfigured to have multiple (e.g., three or more) configurations that are suspended from above by a ceiling or stand. The equipment facilitates the stabilization of the body according to the principle of tensegrity, so that the tension in all movements is omni-directionally coherent, thus creating omni-tensional integrity, which may be helpful in treatment and strengthening of muscular connective tissue (fasciae) in musculoskeletal dynamics, to restore, rebuild, strengthen and regain elasticity within the human fascial network. These apparatuses can support the user at an oblique body angle while the user performs various movements.

Portable and configurable exercise apparatus
10232210 · 2019-03-19 ·

The present device generally relates to a portable and configurable exercise apparatus. The apparatus has a main aim unit and a removable foot unit. The main arm unit has a first hand grip and a second hand grip separated by a main telescoping shaft wherein pulling the first grip away from the second grip requires resistance and, therein develops strength. The device is configurable so as to allow the user to select the desired resistance. The removable foot unit may be temporarily inserted over the first or the second hand grip so that a user may place his/her feet (either standing, sitting or squatting) over the first or second hand grip and may pull upward with the remaining hand grip to exercise alternative muscles. The first and the second hand grip may rotate with respect to the main body shaft to allow alternative exercises.

Combined climber and rowing exercise machine

An exercise machine has a base supporting a boom. The boom has an elongate rigid body that is attached at a proximal end via a pivot mount to the base such that the boom is able to pivot about an axis with respect to the base between a rowing configuration wherein the boom is horizontal, and a climbing configuration wherein the boom extends upwardly. A seat element is slidably mounted above the boom when the boom is in the rowing configuration. A row handle is attached to a row transmission system that includes a row cable that extends to a row resistance device. The boom has a pair of climb handles and a pair of climb pedals, each slidably mounted on the boom, for performing climbing exercises. A climber transmission system connects the climb handles and climb pedals to a climber resistance device.

The climbing machine structure includes a support frame, a first slide rail unit, a second slide rail unit, a first pedal, a second pedal, a first handle, a second handle, and a transmission unit. The first slide rail unit and the second slide rail unit are juxtaposed on the support frame. A first top end of the first slide rail unit and a second top end of the second slide rail unit are lower than an eye position of the operator in the height direction. Thereby, the line of sight of the operator won't be blocked.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONVERTING RECIPROCATING MOTION INTO CONTINUOUS ROTATION, AND APPLICATION
20240229808 · 2024-07-11 ·

The present disclosure discloses a device and a method for converting reciprocating motion into continuous rotation, and application includes: a central shaft and rotating discs, each rotating disc is connected to the central shaft through a bearing, the rotating disc is arranged concentrically with the bearing, wings are arranged on a circumference of rotating disc, upper wing surfaces of the wings are of convex structures. According to the device for converting reciprocating motion into continuous rotation of the present disclosure, the rotating directions of the wings can be kept unchanged all the time during the reciprocating motion of the device by using airfoil structures of the wings in the device and limiting mounting angles of the wings, so as to obtain a continuous lifting force with a constant direction.

Unsupported pelvic / spine, third class lever exercise system and method
12048862 · 2024-07-30 ·

The invention is embodied in an exercise system that can allow its user to counterbalance the effects associated with a predominantly sedentary lifestyle though a fitness device that comprises a combination of (a) supporting the lower body in a manner that permits a user's upper body to act as a third class lever with the user's hips operating as fulcrum and (b) engaging in resistance exercises with the upper body in a horizontal position, unsupported above the greater trochanter.
