DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SENSING, GUIDING, AND/OR TRACKING PELVIC EXERCISE
Devices such as medical devices, including those for use in conducting pelvic muscle exercise, are generally provided. Embodiments herein relate generally to the medical device and consumer medical product fields, and in some embodiments, to a device for sensing, guiding, and/or tracking pelvic muscle exercise in men and women for the purpose of treating urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and other pelvic conditions.
Portable Arm Exercise Device
A device for exercising an arm of a user, the device including an adjustable pad that is configured to accommodate different size arms, an adjustable tension dampener that is configured to extend and retract, a lower extension, an adjustment lever that is configured to lengthen or shorten said lower extension, a handgrip, in which said handgrip comprises a rotating handgrip, and an adjustment knob, wherein said adjustment know is configured to adjust a tension on said rotating handgrip.
Back machine
The exercise machine in the present disclosure utilizes novel machine mechanics that accommodate and adjust to the spines shifting axis of rotation. Through the use of a multiple, articulating axes a back exercise machine or device that promotes pure and isolated spinal flexion and extension with no need for mechanical anatomical restraint to succeed has been created. Using these mechanics when users attempt to extend their trunk, the device adjusts to the natural shifting axis of rotation of the spine thereby dis-involving the contribution of the hip extensor muscles. In other works, the exercise back machine of the present disclosure is designed to accommodate the complex biomechanics of the spine and to facilitate targeted strengthening of the spinal erectors and deep intrinsic spinal muscles.
Hybrid resistance system
A resistance system, which can be suitable for incorporation in exercise equipment, is a hybrid resistance assembly having at least a first and a second resistance unit. The first resistance unit can be of a first type and the second resistance unit can be of a second type. The first resistance unit can be an inertial resistance unit, which incorporates an inertial load that creates resistance influenced by the inertia of a movable mass, such as a rotatable flywheel. The second resistance unit can be a static or non-inertial resistance unit, such as a displacement resistance unit, which incorporates a load that creates resistance influenced by displacement (e.g., linear or rotational displacement) of an input to the displacement resistance unit.

Exercise machine having changeable damping mechanism
An exercise machine having a changeable damping mechanism is provided. A first transmission rope on a first shifting wheel of a first rotating shaft drives a damping device of a damping shaft to generate a relative damping action for training the leg muscular endurance of the user. Through a first changeable damping mechanism, the first transmission rope, which having stretch elasticity on the first shifting wheel is controlled to adjust the rotational speed according to the gear ratio, which may be in cooperation with a second transmission rope, which having stretch elasticity on a second shifting wheel through a second changeable damping mechanism, and is in cooperation with the damping action of a magnetic control wheel or a blower fan of the damping device to extend the range of damping control for different users to train muscular endurance.
Back extension exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus for performing a back extension exercise comprising: a frame, a seat having a seating surface and a pelvic stabilization pad having a lower back engagement surface, an input arm assembly interconnected by a first interconnection to a first resistance mechanism, the input arm assembly including a manually graspable mechanism and being arranged on the apparatus such that the input arm assembly is pivotable beginning from a start motionless position along a path of travel toward the pelvic stabilization pad under resistance exerted by one or both of the resistance mechanisms, wherein the first resistance mechanism is adapted to increase resistance as the degree of pivoting of the input arm assembly increases along the path of travel away from the start motionless position rearwardly toward the pelvic stabilization pad.
WEIGHT EXERCISE MACHINE
The present invention relates to a weight exercise machine and training methods for development and strengthening of muscles and joints with exercises aimed for overcoming a counteracting force with or without measuring equipment, more specifically, to training devices and training methods with the eccentric phase of the training.
The weight exercise machine comprises a frame bearing a seat for a user, the seat fastened to the frame; a touch screen connected with a control unit for controlling training modes and monitoring training parameters; an actuator controlled by the control unit; and an interface interacting with the user. Thus, efficiency of weight training can be improved.
RESISTANCE KICKBOARD ATTACHMENT
A resistance kickboard attachment is disclosed. When attached to a kickboard, the resistance kickboard attachment adds resistance while swimming with the kickboard. The resistance kickboard attachment includes a resistance pocket, with variable resistance provided by an adjustment of a rear aperture of the resistance pocket. The resistance kickboard attachment attaches to the kickboard with a transverse and a longitudinal strap. The transverse strap includes an adjustment on either side of the longitudinal strap which allows the longitudinal strap to be centered on the kickboard.
Computerized exercise apparatus
A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.
