Gym cage
An exercise apparatus has at least one vertical wall structure, a floor and a ceiling forming a cage that can be square, rectangular, circular, oval or another suitable configuration. An arrangement of strategically placed attachment points on the wall structure, floor and ceiling enables easy attachment and detachment of a variety of resistance devices (e.g., a handheld and/or inline cable operated resistance creation device, or a stretch band resistance device) to any of the vertical and/or horizontal structures within the gym cage, thereby providing a nearly 360 degree dimensional point of resistance to perform a wide variety of exercises for different muscle groups and subgroups of the body. In one embodiment, the cage includes an arrangement of spaced apart vertical and horizontal frame members forming a rear wall and opposite side walls.
Rotational and Linear Resistance Force Exercise Apparatus
An exercise apparatus with an adjustable rotating element around which a force transferring material wraps either clockwise or counterclockwise to provide bidirectional rotational resistance for exercising. The force transferring material is preferably guided to remain in close proximity to the rotating element while wrapping around the rotating element.
DEVICE FOR PERFORMING PHYSICAL EXERCISES, IN PARTICULAR FOR MOTOR REHABILITATION EXERCISES
A device for physical exercise for motor rehabilitation includes a body formed of a casing with at least a part made of a translucent flexible material, the body having an inner chamber and at least one opening, a closing element, housed in the opening, on which at least a pressure sensor, a light source, a control unit and a battery are mounted, in which the pressure sensor is positioned so as to detect the pressure in the inner chamber and in which the control unit is configured to receive the measurement of the pressure value and to control the activation state of the light source according to the parameter.

REPETITION PHASE DETECTION
Controlling an exercise machine includes receiving a stream of measurements of extension of a component of an exercise machine. It further includes detecting a first phase of a repeated motion. It further includes detecting a transition to a second phase of the repeated motion. A time constraint is applied to the detection of the transition to the second phase of the repeated motion. It further includes controlling a resistance associated with the second phase of the repeated motion.
Exercise bike
An exercise bike includes a frame, a rotor assembly and a drive assembly mounted on the frame, where the drive assembly is configured to drive rotation of the rotor assembly, and a cover configured to at least partially cover the rotor assembly. The components of the drive assembly and the rotor assembly include structures that improve the performance of the exercise bike, including but not limited to a strong and rigid construction and improvements in belt tracking, user feel, effort consistency, synchronization, and rotor performance.
Resistance device
A resistance device for providing resistance. The device includes a flexible pulling element, a resilient arrangement and a transmission. The resilient arrangement has a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is resiliently movable relative to the first portion. The transmission connects the flexible pulling element to the resilient arrangement such that pulling upon the flexible pulling element moves the second portion relative to the first portion, and upon release of the flexible pulling element the resilient arrangement retracts the flexible pulling element. The transmission is a reduction arrangement such that pulling the flexible pulling element a distance moves the second portion, relative to the first portion, no more than a proportion of the distance. The proportion is no more than half.
Exercise assembly for performing different rowing routines
An exercise assembly structured to perform different rowing routines characterized different rowing motions. A resistance device is movable within a chamber and is cooperatively structured therewith to resist such movement. A drive assembly includes two drive sections each independently connected in driving relation to said resistance device. A connector structure includes two connector members each attached to a handle and connected in driving relation to a different one of said drive sections. The handle is selectively movable through the plurality of different rowing motions, at least one of which results in the two drive sections concurrently driving the resistance member and being concurrently driven by the two connector members. At least one other rowing motion of the handle is defined by each drive section alternately driving the resistance member and being alternately driven by interconnected ones of said connector members.

BACK EXTENSION EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus for performing a back extension exercise comprising: a frame, a seat having a seating surface and a pelvic stabilization pad having a lower back engagement surface, an input arm assembly interconnected by a first interconnection to a first resistance mechanism, the input arm assembly including a manually graspable mechanism and being arranged on the apparatus such that the input arm assembly is pivotable beginning from a start motionless position along a path of travel toward the pelvic stabilization pad under resistance exerted by one or both of the resistance mechanisms, wherein the first resistance mechanism is adapted to increase resistance as the degree of pivoting of the input arm assembly increases along the path of travel away from the start motionless position rearwardly toward the pelvic stabilization pad.
