WEIGHT TRAINING SLED
A weight training sled 100 characterized by one or more of (A) rotatable wheels 130 in contact with ground, (B) curvilinear push handles 140 with comfortably spaced, and inwardly and/or downwardly angled hand grips 143, and (C) an elevated tow hook 160.
STATIONARY BICYCLE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A stationary bicycle includes a lever arm that is pivotable about a pivot axis. A biasing device rotatably biases the lever arm about the pivot axis. The lever arm is swept through a horizontal plane when rotated about the pivot axis. A user rotates the lever arm against the bias while pedaling to preload the body for a desired therapeutic effect.
ABDOMINAL EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus for performing an abdominal exercise comprising:
a frame,
a seat having a seating surface (PS) and a pelvic stabilization pad having a lower back engagement surface (ES),
an input arm assembly interconnected by a first interconnection to a first resistance mechanism,
the input arm assembly including a manually graspable mechanism for manual engagement by a user along a path of travel forwardly away from the pelvic stabilization pad.
EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING A GLUTEAL BRIDGE MOVEMENT
The present disclosure provides an exercise apparatus designed to allow a user to perform a gluteal bridge, typically with resistance, to improve the strength of the user's posterior hip and gluteal muscles. The exercise apparatus is configurable for use in different environmentsin a gym, fitness center or training facility, a spa or studio, or a home gym. The exercise apparatus includes a frame assembly, a bench assembly, and a resistance assembly. The bench assembly is pivotally connected to the frame assembly to provide an elevated pivot point about which the bench assembly pivots when the user performs the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly is operably connected to the bench assembly and provides a resistance force that the user overcomes in order to pivotally move the bench through the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly can include a cable, pulley and weight stack, or an elastically deformable band.
EXERCISE BIKE
An exercise bike includes a frame, a rotor assembly and a drive assembly mounted on the frame, where the drive assembly is configured to drive rotation of the rotor assembly, and a cover configured to at least partially cover the rotor assembly. The components of the drive assembly and the rotor assembly include structures that improve the performance of the exercise bike, including but not limited to a strong and rigid construction and improvements in belt tracking, user feel, effort consistency, synchronization, and rotor performance.
Exercise Machine Handle Indicia System
An exercise machine handle indicia system for facilitating efficient and proper exercise movements by an exerciser. The exercise machine handle indicia system generally includes a frame, a carriage movably positioned upon the frame, a bias member connected between the carriage and the frame that applies a bias force upon the carriage, and a first handle and a second handle connected to the frame near the first end of the frame. The first handle includes a first indicia to indicate where to position a first hand of an exerciser to perform a first exercise and the second handle includes a first indicia to indicate where to position a second hand of the exerciser to perform the first exercise. During the performance of an exercise, the exerciser is instructed by a human instructor or an electronic device which indicia on the handles to position their hands or other body parts.
Toning garment with modular resistance unit docking platforms
Disclosed is a muscle toning garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable resistance elements. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath conventional clothing. Toning may thereby be accomplished throughout the wearer's normal daily activities, without the need for access to conventional exercise equipment. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training techniques.

Exercise device having damped oscillating foot platforms
An exercise device including two foot platforms riding on elongated rails for longitudinal motion relative thereto. The platforms are directly connected to each other by one or more elastic elements. The platforms are also connected by linear and/or rotary dampers to provide motion damping. In addition, weights and/or flywheels may be used to smooth the oscillations. When the two platforms are side-by-side, the elastic elements run in a substantially crosswise direction. A seated user may place the user's feet on the platforms and move his/her feet and lower legs back and forth in a scissoring motion to move the platforms in opposing directions along the rails. In so doing, the user overcomes the resistance of the elastic elements and dampers connecting the platforms. This provides the user with exercise and its accompanying benefits.
Exercise Machine Adjustable Resistance System and Method
An exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method for efficiently varying the workout resistance for an exercise machine. The exercise machine adjustable resistance system and method generally includes a control unit in communication with a resistance adjustment system of an exercise machine and a biometric monitoring device used by an exerciser on the exercise machine. The control unit receives biometric data from the biometric monitoring device and sends a control signal to the resistance adjustment system to adjust the resistance of the exercise machine based on the biometric data received.
