WEARABLE EXERCISE APPARATUSES
20180104536 · 2018-04-19 ·

An exercise apparatus includes a pair of apparatuses wearable on feet of a user. Each apparatus is configurable between expanded configurations and compressed configurations to simulate a selected motion when the user wearing the pair of apparatuses travels by foot. One of the apparatuses can move towards an expanded configuration while the other apparatus moves towards a compressed configuration.

CONCURRENT UPPER AND LOWER BODY PRESS EXERCISE MACHINE
20180104537 · 2018-04-19 · ·

A machine for concurrently performing pressing motions with the hands and feet, the machine having a base having front and back ends, two or more user supports, at least one lower body user support with an engagement means for the user's feet and at least one upper body user support with an engagement means for the user's hands. The upper body user support and lower body user support move fore and aft on opposing ends of the base frame and at least one of the upper body user supports and at least one of the lower body user supports cooperate with one another to move in opposing fore and aft movement patterns during operation of the machine.

An exercise machine for performing dip exercises, having: a stationary main frame; first and second mounting brackets connected to the stationary main frame; first and second dip handle assemblies connected to the mounting brackets, each dip handle assembly having a first exercise arm, a first stop plate, and a first arm mount hub, wherein the first and second dip handle assemblies are each configured to be converted between an exercise position and a storage position while connected to the exercise machine.

Apparatus for isometric and incremental muscle contractions
09943720 · 2018-04-17 ·

A resistance exercise apparatus comprising a mechanism for allowing the machine to inhibit in intervals along a range of motion for an amount of time, movement in a direction caused by an external force applied to a movable surface on the machine, while allowing movement of the surface in the opposite direction to the external force, wherein said movable surface is linked to a resistance source.

Fan damping device for adjusting magnetic resistance
09945383 · 2018-04-17 · ·

A fan damping device for adjusting magnetic resistance includes: a support frame, a fan wheel, a ring-shaped magnetic core, a magnetic control unit, and a control unit. The fan blades of the fan wheel can provide air resistance, and the magnetic control unit and the control unit provide adjustable magnetic resistance. By such arrangements, resistance can be increased without increasing the size and weight of the present invention. Besides, the resistance is adjustable as desired to improve convenience of use.

Oropharyngeal exercise devices, systems, and methods

The various devices and systems herein include oropharyngeal exercise devices having a pump bulb with a bulb body having a flow restriction structure with a restricted configuration in which the flow restriction structure is configured to restrict the flow of fluid through the lumen such that the user must apply a force to increase the flow of the fluid. Other devices include containers and/or lids thereof with the bulbs attached to or integrated therein.

HYDROTHERAPY TREADMILL
20240366996 · 2024-11-07 ·

The invention provides a hydrotherapy treadmill. The treadmill comprises a treadmill main body including a treadmill belt, submerged in a water body, mounted on a support rack having a first and a second longitudinal side rails; a base frame configured to mount the support rack and the treadmill belt; and a first roller and a second roller rotatably mounted on the support rack and positioned between and substantially perpendicular to said first and second longitudinal side rails. The treadmill belt is an endless belt mounted around and extending between said first roller and the second roller for rotation therewith. The hydrotherapy treadmill further comprises a transmission system comprising an electrically powered hydraulic pump, wherein the electrically powered hydraulic pump rotates a hydraulic motor of the treadmill belt via a hydraulic input hose and a hydraulic output hose connected to the treadmill main body; and the hydraulic pump is powered by plugging, into a 120-volt power supply, a cord of a portable power unit mounted on a rolling cart.

TONING GARMENT WITH MODULAR RESISTANCE UNIT DOCKING PLATFORMS

Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable electronics and resistance modules. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and tracks biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and incremental power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training protocols.

EXERCISE MACHINE WITH A DETACHABLE STABILIZING SUPPORT ASSEMBLY HAVING ADJUSTABLE POSITIONS

A detachable stabilizing support system for use on an exercise machine, such as a functional trainer exercise machine, has adjustable support positions and is capable of being configured between an exercise position and a more compact storage position.

DYNAMIC PROPRIOCEPTION

A wearable device such as a garment is disclosed, having at least one resistance element at a motion segment such as a hip or knee. The garment includes at least one sensor, for sensing a parameter. Electronics are provided for processing the sensed parameter, and for providing feedback. Feedback may be in the form of proprioceptive tactile or audible feedback, or in the form of an adjustment of a performance parameter of the wearable device. In one implementation, resistance to movement of the wearer is adjusted up or down in response to changes in power output by the wearer.
