APPARATUS FOR ATTACHING A STABILIZER BAR TO A VEHICLE
An apparatus for connecting a stabilizer bar to a vehicle includes a support for attaching to the vehicle. The support defines a space for receiving a bushing through which the stabilizer bar can extend. The support includes tabs to which a heat shield can be attached. The heat shield is spaced apart from the bushing to define a gap between the heat shield and the bushing to protect the bushing from heat emitted from the vehicle exhaust system or engine.
Sound-absorbing material
The present invention provides a sound-absorbing material having sound absorption performance with an average sound absorption coefficient of 0.70 or more in the frequency range of 800 to 5000 Hz. The present invention provides a sound-absorbing material including: a fiber layer including a plurality of holes open to a surface thereof and having a thickness of 3 mm or more; and an inorganic material layer mainly containing a calcium-based material and having a thickness of 0.4 to 0.6 mm on the surface of the fiber layer, the holes being blind holes each penetrating through the inorganic material layer and having a bottom inside the fiber layer, each hole having a depth corresponding to 50 to 90% of the thickness of the fiber layer.
Textile hose
Textile hose for encasing elongated objects, characterised by having a radially elastic outer layer made from wear-resistant material and at least one inner layer made from thermally insulating material.
Shield and method for producing shield
Provided is a shield in which a flexible member is interposed between two metal plates; still unfilled spaces that are not filled with the flexible member are secured, so that the shielding properties are improved by air layers. The shield 1A includes two metal plates 2, 3 disposed to face each other, and a plate-shaped flexible member 4 interposed between the two metal plates. Each of the two metal plates 2, 3 has a plurality of protrusion-depression structures. Gap-forming means is provided to form gaps of a width greater than the thickness of the flexible member 4 between the two metal plates 2, 3 when the flexible member 4 is interposed therebetween. Unfilled spaces (5) that are not filled with the flexible member 4 are provided between the two metal plates 2, 3.
UNDERBODY STRUCTURE
A underbody structure includes a tunnel brace (22) laid on a floor tunnel (18) of a vehicle. The tunnel brace (22) has a front convex section (71), a central groove section (72) and a rear convex section (73). The front convex section (71), the central groove section (72) and the rear convex section (73) are formed to have equal width dimensions with each other. The tunnel brace (22) is formed so as to have an M-shaped cross section by the front convex section (71), the central groove section (72) and the rear convex section (73). The tunnel brace (22) is formed such that the width dimension of the tunnel brace in the vehicle body forward/rearward direction has a maximum value at right and left end portions (22a, 22b) and has a minimum value at a central section (22c).
Sound absorbing and insulating material and method for manufacturing the same
Disclosed are a sound absorbing and insulating material and a method for manufacturing the same. The sound absorbing and insulating material may be manufactured by impregnating a polyimide binder into a nonwoven fabric formed of a heat-resistant fiber. As such, the sound absorbing and insulating material may have superior sound-absorbing property, flame retardancy, heat resistance and heat resistance, thus being applicable to parts maintained at high temperatures of 300 C. as well as at room temperature and moldability due to the use of the polyimide binder.
Electric traction vehicle with an air conditioning system that can also be activated when the vehicle is parked and corresponding control method
Electric vehicle having a chassis, which supports a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels, a passenger compartment, which is arranged between the front wheels and the rear wheels, at least one electric motor connected to drive wheels, an electric energy storage device, an air conditioning system, which is designed to air condition the passenger compartment by heating or cooling the air present in the passenger compartment, and a control unit, which is configured to activate the air conditioning system even when the vehicle is parked and connected to an external charging system, wherein the air conditioning system has at least one thermal device, which is designed to exchange heat directly and only with the chassis and the control unit is configured to activate the thermal device even when the vehicle is parked and connected to an external charging system.
Dimple Heat Shield
A heat shield has a first layer, a second layer and a third layer. The first layer may have an outer surface and an inner surface. The second layer may have a first inner surface and a second inner surface. The third layer may have an inner surface and an outer surface, where the outer surface is defined by a plurality of dimples.
Insulated vehicle wall structures
A vehicle subsystem according to an exemplary aspect of the present discourse includes, among other things, a wall structure and a thermal resistance feature internal to the wall structure and configured to inhibit heat loss through the wall structure.
Vehicle rear of a motor vehicle
A rear (1) of a motor vehicle has a bumper (2) configured as a beam and arranged in a transverse direction (Y) of the motor vehicle. A trim panel (3) covers the bumper (2), and an end plate (4) is provided for at least one end pipe (5) of an exhaust gas system of the motor vehicle. An opening (7) penetrates the trim panel (3) below the bumper (2), and the end plate (4) penetrates the opening (7). Supports (8) are connected to the bumper (2) behind the trim panel (3) and extend down from the bumper (2). The trim panel (3) is mounted in the supports (8) below the bumper (2), and the end plate (4) is mounted in the trim panel (3).
