A soundproof cover which covers a target object is provided with: a sound absorbing sheet which is formed in a planar shape by means of a sound absorbing material and which covers the surface of the target object; and a reinforcing member which is disposed in a position engaging with engaged portions of the target object, and which positions the sound absorbing sheet with respect to the target object with at least a portion of the sound absorbing sheet exposed. The reinforcing member is provided with: a first reinforcing portion, which is an elongate member and which is disposed in a position engaging with a first engaged portion of the target object; and second reinforcing portions, which are elongate members and which are disposed in different positions to the first reinforcing portion.

Ultrasonic welding type wheel resonator
A wheel resonator for reducing a resonance phenomenon inside a tire of a vehicle may include a plurality of wheel resonators mounted to a tire wheel. First and second wheel resonators of the plurality of wheel resonators are fixed with each other by a fastening part including a protrusion disposed on an end of the first wheel resonator penetrating through a hole disposed in an end of the second wheel resonator. An end portion of the protrusion has a size greater than a size of the hole. As such, quality of a wheel through more reliable noise reduction by making a wheel resonator in a manner of forming a fitting type fastening part in the wheel resonator itself and fixing the wheel resonator by ultrasonic welding can be improved.
Noise shielding structure
A noise shielding structure is provided that is highly versatile with no limitation to vehicle models and bumper designs, and effectively reduces road noise in the rear compartment. The noise shielding structure includes: an outer panel at a rear vehicle body; a rear bumper provided so as to cover the outer panel; and a noise shield arranged between the outer panel and the rear bumper, wherein the noise shield includes a fixed portion to be fixed to the outer panel and a flap portion to contact the rear bumper when the rear bumper is attached to the rear vehicle body, and the flap portion is deformable on a hinge of the noise shield provided between the fixed portion and the flap portion.

A device for reducing a rolling noise of a vehicle having at least one tire, the tire rolling on a roadway on a tire contact patch, wherein the device comprises at least one sound absorption element attached to the vehicle in front of, behind and/or laterally of the tire contact patch in the direction of travel (F) of the vehicle and having at least one resonance frequency and a curved first absorber membrane facing the tire contact patch, wherein the entire first absorber membrane is oriented normally to a direction of sound propagation (S) emanating from the tire contact patch, and the sound absorption element is located at a distance from the tire contact patch which corresponds to a multiple of half a wavelength (λ) assigned to the resonance frequency.
Sound absorbing structure having one or more acoustic scatterers attached to or forming a vehicle structure
A sound absorbing structure includes a vehicle structure having a surface and at least one acoustic scatterer coupled to the surface. The at least one acoustic scatterer has a resonant frequency. The at least one acoustic scatterer has an opening and at least one channel. The at least one channel has a channel open end and a channel terminal end, the channel open end being in fluid communication with the opening. The sound absorbing structure may be configured to absorb sound waves at a certain frequency generated by a noise source. The certain frequency may be substantially similar to the resonant frequency of the at least one acoustic scatterer.
Box-shaped soundproof structure and transportation apparatus
