APPARATUS, DEVICE AND METHOD ENABLING REPEATED COUPLING AND DECOUPLING OF PHYSICAL OBJECTS
A license plate holder includes a unitary body that forms one or more channels that permit a license plate to frequently and quickly be attached to, detached from and/or reattached to the unitary body. The unitary body is attached to an equipment or vehicle. One or two posts are coupled with the license plate and are shaped for partial insertion into, or traversal through, a channel of the unitary body. A moveable retaining pin allows a post to be temporarily captured while the post is inserted into a channel of the unitary body. The retaining pin may be spring-biased to press against the inserted post, and the retaining pin may be shaped and sized to fit into a notch or depressed feature of the inserted post. The unitary body may be or comprise an extruded component, a machined component, a milled component and/or a molded component.
Computer system configured for issuing a personalized vehicle number plate
The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method configured to generate a personalized vehicle number plate based on a keyword. The method electronically generates a combined set of character strings appropriate for selection by the user for a personalized vehicle number plate by combining a: a plurality of character strings or content derived from or based on user details; and/or a second plurality of character strings or content derived from or based on one or more keywords.
Portable display device
The present invention relates generally to illuminated display devices and methods of displaying indicia, advertisements, etc. on a changeable illuminated display. The display device comprises a frame structure having an open space. The display device further comprises a compact image display device operable to display an image, the compact image display device held and positioned relative to the frame structure such that the image, when displayed by the compact image display device, is visible through the open space. Additionally, control circuitry is coupled to the compact image display device.
Identification display bag with camera system
The identification display bag with camera system comprises a document pouch and a camera. The document pouch may be detachably coupled to the outside of a vehicle and may be adapted to hold one or more identification documents for inspection by a law enforcement officer during a traffic stop. The camera may record video and/or audio during the traffic stop. The identification display bag with camera system may be adapted to allow a driver to keep the driver's hands visible on a steering wheel to establish a safe environment for both the driver and the law enforcement officer. The law enforcement officer may observe that the driver is not reaching for a weapon and the law enforcement officer may be less likely to react to a perceived threat. The video and/or the audio may be available for review after the traffic stop, if necessary.
QUICK CONNECT VEHICLE ATTACHMENT
The quick connect vehicle attachment as disclosed herein generally includes a bayonet lug having a series of threads that engage a tow hook boss on one end and a locking pin protruding out opposite sides of an interface shoulder on another end for select slide-in reception into a bayonet housing and along a cam slot for locking engagement therewith in a pair of slotted receptacles under a spring-biased preload.
License plate holder
A license plate holder allows a license plate to be temporarily attached to a vehicle without the use of tools, magnets, or suction cups. The license plate holder attaches to a vehicle where a license plate is typically attached and includes an expandable pocket into which a license plate may be inserted or removed.
APPARATUS FOR RECORDING LICENSE PLATES OF VEHICLES
An apparatus for recording license plates of vehicles travelling on a road having several adjacent lanes comprises a vehicle classification sensor configured to detect a predetermined shape characteristic of a vehicle or group of vehicles. The apparatus further comprises at least one camera mounted at an elevated point beside one of the lanes and having an angle of aperture covering at least one of said lanes, each lane covered by at least one camera. The vehicle classification sensor is configured to, upon detecting the predetermined shape characteristic on a lane, trigger the camera that covers the lane the predetermined shape characteristic is detected on to record an image of a license plate on the back of the vehicle or group's leading vehicle, respectively, for which the predetermined shape characteristic is detected. The triggered camera is of a lane either adjacent to or at least one lane apart from the lane.
ADVERTISING AND DECORATIVE LICENSE PLATE FRAME SYSTEM
A advertising and decorative license plate frame system employ methods to personalize license plates, such as through the use of illumination or graphics design for use with a vehicle such as an automobile, truck, motorcycle, or the like. The present invention includes a back plate and a front cover shaped to surround the perimeter of a standard license plate without covering identifying numbers or letters of the plate indicia. The front cover is typically a sheet having a surface area with a 3D raised imprint and/or printed indicia including pictures and/or text. The back plate whereas the lighting assembly is typically mounted and within the illumination frame housing to illuminate embossed figures or symbols on the exterior of the front cover. The lighting assembly preferably includes a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) electrically connected via wires to an electrical power source (such as the vehicle's battery).
License plate fastener head cap assembly
A hardware hider cap assembly is provided for covering a fastener, and more specifically, covering a fastener head. The hider cap assembly can include a base member with an opening for receiving the fastener and a cap member releasably coupled to the base member via a threaded engagement. The cap member can include a tab or protrusion configured to engage with a notch in the base member, thereby preventing overtightening of the cap member onto the base member.
Customizable license plate holder
A customizable license plate holder for a vehicle license plate is provided, which includes a holder frame that is securable to a vehicle and configured to register with a vehicle license plate. The holder frame has a front frame plate. At least one plate window is provided in the front frame plate. The at least one plate window is configured to register with license plate indicia on the vehicle license plate. At least one decorative element is affixed to the front frame plate. The decorative elements are preferably detachable from the front frame plate.
