PLACARD HOLDER
Disclosed is a placard holder that protects a placard from winds and weathering. The placard holder includes a plate of a square or cuboidal dimension. The plate has a top edge, a right edge, a bottom edge, a left side, a front face, and a rear face. Two elongated bars are coupled on the top face and run along the left side and the right side of the plate. A crossbar is attached on the top face of the plate, running along its rear side, wherein the two bars and the crossbar form a three-sided frame. Plexiglass of dimension proportional to the plate attached to the frame, wherein the front edge of the plate and the adjacent edge of the plexiglass forms an opening. A placard can be inserted between the plate and the plexiglass through the opening and retained by the frame on three sides.
SOLAR WIRELESS VISUAL REVERSING SYSTEM
A solar wireless visual reversing system including an inboard host and an outboard host is provided, the inboard host includes a first casing as well as a display screen device, a distance sensor, a first master control circuit device and a first wireless communication module provided in first casing, the display screen device, the first wireless communication module and the distance sensor respectively connected to the first master control circuit device; the outboard host includes a second casing as well as a camera, a solar panel, a storage battery, a second master control circuit device, an acceleration sensor and a second wireless communication module provided in the second casing, the camera, the solar panel, the storage battery, the second wireless communication module and the acceleration sensor respectively connected to the second master control circuit device; and the inboard host and the outboard host wirelessly transmit commands and image data respectively.
PROTECTIVE FRAME
Disclosed is improved automobile license plate frame design. By having a slit surrounding the edge of the automobile license plate frame, the frame can be inserted onto the automobile license plate without need of removing the plate. The similar set up also can be used for other devices.
VEHICLE FRONT STRUCTURE
A vehicle front structure which includes a bracket and a washer. The bracket is disposed between a part of a back surface of a license plate and a front grille. The bracket fastens the license plate to the front grille. The washer moves forward on the back side of the license plate in an area without the bracket in order to clean a sensing surface of a sensor which monitors the front of the vehicle. The bracket includes one or more of supporting portions which protrude on the washer side and support the license plate from the back side of the license plate.
COMPUTER SYSTEM CONFIGURED FOR ISSUING A PERSONALIZED VEHICLE NUMBER PLATE
The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method configured to generate a personalized vehicle number plate based on a keyword. The method electronically generates a combined set of character strings appropriate for selection by the user for a personalized vehicle number plate by combining a: a plurality of character strings or content derived from or based on user details; and/or a second plurality of character strings or content derived from or based on one or more keywords.
System and methods for vehicle sharing
A system, apparatus and method for secure vehicle sharing comprising a computerized client device in the form of a mountable vehicle license plate frame (SLPF) 117 enabled for wireless communication and connection to a wide area network 101 including a server 103. The SLPF 117 device has a processor with an instance of the software 105 executing from memory thereon, Global Positioning System (GPS) capability, power source, and a locking key compartment. The SLPF 117 device may be easily mounted, after market, to the vehicles of registered vehicle owners 107. The server may track time of use, vehicle mileage and vehicle location while the vehicle renter is operating the vehicle. Upon completion of vehicle use, the renter replaces the key or other item in the locking compartment, sends notification of completion of use to the server which then completes a financial transaction between the renter and owner.
Adapter plate for mounting a license plate onto a vehicle
There is provided an adapter plate assembly for mounting a license plate to a vehicle. The assembly includes an adapter plate with a backing portion shaped to couple with and inhibit bending of the license plate. The assembly includes a resilient member having a lower portion connectable with the adapter plate and an upper portion for coupling to the vehicle. The resilient member is configured to enable the license plate to move slightly forward and rearward.
Vehicle front alert system
A visual deceleration indicator signals to pedestrians and other vehicles that a vehicle is slowing down or coming to a stop. Illuminating devices, such as LEDs, contained in a license plate frame located in the front of the car or otherwise, are activated when the vehicle decelerates. An accelerometer or other sensory device detects deceleration and sends a signal to illuminate the LEDs, thereby letting others know the vehicle is slowing down. The license plate frame may be connected directly to a rear brake light component without the use of accelerometers or other sensors. When the brake is applied, the LEDs in the license plate frame are illuminated. The LEDs may be contained in other forms and located in different positions on the front or side of the car. The indicator might be one color to indicate braking and another color to indicate it is on, but not braking.
RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE
A resin molded article includes a main body or a plate portion formed in a substantially rectangular plate shape, and at least one rib that is integrally raised from the plate portion. The plate portion has a pair of long sides facing each of her, and a pair of short sides facing each other. The short sides are shorter than the long sides. Each of at least one rib is formed along at least one of the two long sides such that the rib includes, at least, an area over the center of the long side concerned. The height of the rib is set to be lowest at opposite ends thereof.
Autonomous flip-up license plate mount for motorcycles
An autonomous flip-up license plate mount for motorcycles that improves the aesthetics of a motorcycle while ensuring a license plate is properly displayed during use of the motorcycle. The mount includes a first mounting plate, a second mounting plate, an automatic pivoting mechanism, and a hinge mechanism. A first end of the first mounting plate is connected along the hinge mechanism. Additionally, the hinge mechanism is connected along a rear surface of the second mounting plate, allowing for relative rotation about a main axis of the hinge mechanism. The automatic pivoting mechanism is a motorized system used to rotate the second mounting plate about the hinge mechanism. Accordingly, the automatic pivoting mechanism is operatively coupled between the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate. Thus, activation of the automatic pivoting mechanism positions the mount into either a functional configuration or a collapsed configuration.
