Computerized Exercise Apparatus
A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.
Trampolines and connectors for trampolines
Provided herein is a hoop spring assembly for use in a mat connection system of a trampoline, in which the hoop spring assembly includes a pair of hoop portions hingedly connected by a pair of laterally positioned hinge members and a resilient member, such as an elastic band or coil spring, operably connected to each of the hinge members and extending therebetween. Mat connection systems and trampolines including such a hoop spring assembly are also provided.
ANKLE EXERCISER
An ankle exerciser for exercising a user's ankles and includes a base, two pedals and two rotary units. The pedals and the rotary units are installed to the base. The rotary units are located between the base and the pedals so as to allow the pedals to be pivoted in multiple directions so as to stretch the ankles, and to keep ankles healthy.
SQUAT AND SPINAL FITNESS AND REHABILITATION DEVICE
Embodiments of an exercise device for squat training are disclosed. The exercise device disclosed herein provides users with a stable lower extremity base to help assure good motor function of the squat exercise to improve efficient flexibility, coordination, strength, and endurance development.
Foot exercise apparatus
The device is a foot power apparatus which provides a means for therapeutically strengthening the foot using an expansion spring mounted pedal suspended within a support frame assembly. One embodiment of the apparatus comprises which base, which generally resembles the sole of a shoe, and a support frame assembly which is attached at the front end and along the sides of said base. Suspended above the base within the frame assembly by a pair of opposing springs is a pedal transversely positioned to the base. With the user's foot positioned on the base, the front of the foot applies downward pressure to expand the springs while the heel of the foot remains stationary. Removable and interchangeable expansion springs provide customized and more accurate biomechanical motion for the needs of the particular patient. This system allows for the proper flexion biomechanics on an individual basis because of its ability to shorten the foot during the flexion process.
Exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus includes at least one resilient member; a first weight connected to a first end portion of the at least one resilient member; a second weight connected to a second end portion of the at least one resilient member, and a holding member connected to a center portion of the at least one resilient member, the center portion being between the first and second end portions. Another exercise apparatus includes a holding member; a first resilient member having first and second end portions, the first end portion being connected to the holding member; a first weight connected to the first resilient member; a second resilient member having first and second end portions, the first end portion being connected to the holding member opposite the first end portion of the first resilient member; a second weight connected to the second resilient member.
GOLF PUTTING PRACTICE DEVICE AND AUXILIARY FASTENING UNIT FOR PUTTER HEAD
The present disclosure relates to a putting practice device for developing a putting motion for accurately striking a golf ball to a target spot, wherein the putting practice device can be used irrespective of a trajectory and curvature formed by a putter head when striking the golf ball. In addition, the present disclosure includes an auxiliary fastening unit for fastening the putter head to a mounting part.
Foot exercise apparatus for eliminating flat feet
A foot exercise apparatus includes a non-slip base and a casing mounted atop the base, the casing having opposed front and rear rends and opposed side walls extending therebetween. A toe assembly is situated atop a top surface of the casing proximate the front end an includes a toe receiver having a cupped configuration and a stop for aligning a user's toes when standing atop the top surface. When a user contracts or pulls his toes back, the toe receiver is slidably movable between a rest configuration displaced a first distance from the front end and a deployed configuration displaced a second distance from the front end, the toe receiver being spring biased toward the rest configuration. A heel assembly is situated atop the top surface proximate the rear end and includes a toe receiver for receiving a user's heel and is slidably movable according to a user's foot length.
Abdominal resistance device
A cycling system includes a cycle having a frame with a resistance element attachment point, a resistance element, and a harness. The harness is releasably secured to the resistance element attachment point by the resistance element.
Adjustable reformer
An adjustable reformer for exercising is provided. The reformer includes a frame, a carriage slidably mounted to the horizontal frame, and at least one resistance element connected to the carriage. A cord connects the carriage to at least one lower guide and at least one upper guide. Pulling the cord causes movement of the carriage along the frame against resistance provided by the resistance element. The guides can be height adjustable. The reformer can include a cord retraction system. Related methods of exercise are also provided.
