ACTIVE HIDDEN AIR CURTAIN AND VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME
A speed sensitive type active hidden air curtain of a vehicle includes: hole opening or closing devices configured to cover or open an air hole of a bumper facing traveling wind with any one of a bumper interlocking device, a lamp interlocking device, and a hole color change device to guide air to a space formed between a bumper and a wheel; a power connection member interlocked with a deflector guiding the traveling wind under the bumper to move the hole opening or closing devices; and a supporter maintaining tension of the power connection member. The speed type active hidden air curtain thereby implements a clean and differentiated design image of the bumper and improves appearance quality thereof by covering the air hole exposed to the outside.
Truck bumper steps
A bumper step (1) for installation on a vehicle, such as a truck, having a step portion (3) and a tube armature (10) and a Z-clip bracket (11). The tube armature is inserted into a rear tube chassis (5) of the vehicle and the bumper step is secured to the vehicle by bolting the Z-clip bracket to s slot (8) in a side chassis rail (7) of the vehicle.
Bumper with grill guard
A front bumper assembly including a vehicle camera relocation mount disposed within a front wall in a manner that leaves no visible sign of a mounting bracket configuration for the vehicle camera. Another front bumper assembly includes a central opening with a removable metal grill insert. The removable metal grill insert configured to connected with the front bumper in a manner that leaves no visible sign of its mounting configuration.
Vehicle design integrated sand ladders
This disclosure details motor vehicles equipped with vehicle exterior components. One or more of the vehicle exterior components can be used both for their primary function when attached to the vehicle and for use as sand ladders when removed from the vehicle. In the first configuration, the vehicle exterior components may be configured as running boards, hood vents, grill inserts, bumper inserts, tailgate inserts, and/or door beams, etc.
Energy Absorber for Front-End Vehicle Protection
A vehicle is disclosed that includes: a grille supporting a functional accessory; a bumper beam that is located (positioned) axially inward of the grille; and a first energy absorber that is connected to the bumper beam. The first energy absorber defines a cavity that is configured to accommodate inward axial displacement of the grille resulting from a low-force impact between the vehicle and an external object to thereby inhibit damage to the functional accessory.

VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE FITTED WITH ENVIRONMENT SENSOR
A vehicle body structure includes an environment sensor (22) positioned in an inner space defined between a bumper face and an internal structural member, and attached to the internal structural member, and a cover member (23) including a lower wall (24) extending from the internal structural member to a point adjacent to the bumper face to substantially close the inner space from below. The cover member including a main part (28) forming a base end part thereof and a tip end part (29) extending from the main part to the point adjacent to the bumper face and having a substantially lower stiffness than the main part.
VEHICLE HORN CONFIGURATION STRUCTURE
The vehicle horn configuration structure includes: a bumper beam arranged at a front of a vehicle and extending in a vehicle left-right direction; a bumper cover arranged at a position forward of the bumper beam in a vehicle front-rear direction; a horn component arranged at a position rearward of the bumper beam in the vehicle front-rear direction, and arranged at a position so that a sound-emitting part faces downward in a vehicle up-down direction and is located above a lower end of the bumper beam; and a duct component extending in the vehicle front-rear direction and arranged at a position located between the horn component and the bumper cover in the vehicle front-rear direction to guide a sound of the horn component to an opening provided on the bumper cover.
Vehicles including heater assemblies for vehicle bumpers
A vehicle including a rear bumper having an upper surface, a power source, and a heating element in communication with the power source is provided. The heating element extends in a vehicle lateral direction and along substantially an entire portion of the upper surface of the rear bumper. The heating element may operable when a tailgate is in a closed position. Thus, debris, such as ice, dirt, and the like, accumulating on the upper surface of the rear bumper may be melted by the heating element prior to the tailgate opening. The heating element may be configured to heat substantially an entire portion of the upper surface of the rear bumper. The heating element may be configured to heat upon a condition being satisfied such as, for example, a vehicle start operation or outside temperature being below a predetermined threshold.
