Electromagnetic wave transmissive metal member, article using the same, and production method for electromagnetic wave transmissive metal film

Provided is an electromagnetic wave transmissive metal member capable of being easily produced at a low production cost, with both a metallic luster and an electromagnetic wave transmissibility, an article using the electromagnetic wave transmissive metal member, and a production method for an electromagnetic wave transmissive metal film. The electromagnetic wave transmissive metal member comprises a metal layer and a crack layer, wherein the metal layer and the crack layer have, in their respective planes, a plurality of linear cracks extending substantially parallel to each other. The linear cracks in the metal layer and the linear cracks in the crack layer penetrate through their respective layers in a thickness direction, and are continuous with each other in the thickness direction.

Motor Vehicle Having a Decorative Part or Trim Part in the External Region

In a motor vehicle, an elongated contour of a decorative part or trim part which is visible from outside the vehicle is illuminated in the external region. Such a contour may be, for example, a bead of a decorative part or trim part which, for example, is particularly striking or forms part of a vehicle manufacturer's typical design language. In darkness, the contour, which would otherwise no longer be discernible, is then readily visible due to the illumination. This increases the significance of the visual appearance of the vehicle in darkness.

WORK VEHICLE PERCEPTION SYSTEMS AND FRONT MODULES

A front perception module is utilized in conjunction with a front ballast system, which is included in a work vehicle and which has a laterally-extending hanger bracket supporting a number of removable ballast weights. In various embodiments, the front perception module includes an environmental depth perception (EDP) sensor system including a first EDP device having a field of view (FOV) encompassing an environmental region forward of the work vehicle, a mounting base attached to the work vehicle, and a front module housing containing the EDP sensor system and joined to the work vehicle through the mounting base. The front module housing is positioned over and vertically spaced from the laterally-extending hanger bracket in a manner enabling positioning of the removable ballast weights beneath the front module housing.

A radiator protection device that protects a vehicle radiator from debris and damage is disclosed. The device is a multi-layer system that is flexible enough to be installed and removed through the radiator grill or other openings into the vehicle's radiator compartment. Installed configuration requires no mounting features nor support provisions due to the nature of fitment and resiliency of device to return to original shape.

Vehicle grille assembly

A grille assembly for a vehicle includes a vehicle grille having an opening with at least a pair of opposed edges, and at least one tab extending along at least one edge of the pair of opposed edges. The at least one tab has a base portion, an end portion, and two opposed faces extending between the base portion and end portion. The at least one tab is tapered such that a cross-sectional area of the tab taken along a plane extending perpendicular to either face of the opposed faces of the tab decreases in a direction extending from the base portion toward the end portion.
