TERMINAL TRANSPORT VEHICLE
A transport vehicle for transporting at least four passengers through an airport has a body. A front passenger seat is disposed in the body and is dimensioned to seat two adults thereon. A rear passenger seat disposed in the body and is dimensioned to seat two adults thereon. An operator area, for supporting an operator of the vehicle is disposed on the body. The rear passenger seat is disposed between the front passenger seat and the operator area. A distance from a front of the body to a rear of the operator area is less than a depth of an airport elevator, and a width of the body is less than a width of an airport elevator door.
SEAT AIRBAG DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING OPERATION THEREOF
A seat airbag apparatus for a vehicle and a method of controlling the operation thereof, includes side cushions deployed from the seatback, front cushions configured to be deployed from the side cushions, and inflators for the side cushions and inflators for the front cushions. The deployment operation of the side cushions and the deployment operation of the front cushions are respectively controlled depending on a normal seating mode and a relax mode of an occupant and a side collision and a front collision of the vehicle.
Vehicle body front structure
A vehicle body front structure includes front frames, first and second bumper beams, sub-frames, gussets, and load transmission members. The front frames extend in a front-rear direction. The first bumper beam is disposed in front of the front frames. The first bumper beam extends in a vehicle width direction. The sub-frames are disposed below the front frames. The sub-frames extend in the front-rear direction. The second bumper beam is coupled to front ends of the sub-frames. Ends of the second bumper beam protrude further outward than the first bumper beam. Each gusset is coupled to a corresponding one of ends of the second bumper beam and a corresponding one of intermediate portions of the sub-frames. The gussets transmit an impact load to the intermediate portions. The load transmission members are coupled to the sub-frames. The load transmission members are disposed on outer side surfaces of the front frame.
ROOF MOUNTED PASSENGER AIRBAG
An apparatus for helping to protect an occupant of a vehicle includes an airbag configured to inflate and deploy away from a vehicle roof toward a vehicle seat. The airbag includes a base portion configured to be connected to the vehicle roof and a cushion portion in fluid communication with the base portion. The cushion portion extends from the base portion toward the vehicle seat to an inflated and deployed condition in which the cushion portion is configured to receive and cushion an occupant seated on the vehicle seat. The apparatus also includes a deployment pocket for initially restricting the deployment of the cushion portion without restricting the base portion.
VEHICLE AIRBAG DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a vehicle airbag device including: an airbag that inflates and deploys due to supply of gas, that has a main body and a projection that projects in a vehicle rearward direction, and that has a gap portion, between the main body and the projection, which opens in the vehicle rearward direction; and a coupling portion that couples together a first attachment portion set at the airbag at a front end portion side of the gap portion and a second attachment portion set at a side portion of the projection, and which, when inflation and deployment of the airbag, stretches between the first attachment portion and the second attachment portion, which is positioned further in the vehicle rearward direction than the first attachment portion.
FRONTAL AIRBAG ASSEMBLIES FOR REDUCING ROTATIONAL VELOCITY OF A HEAD OF AN OCCUPANT
Airbag assemblies are disclosed that can reduce rotational velocity of an occupant's head during a collision event and thereby mitigate traumatic brain injury/head injury to an occupant. An airbag includes a pair of lobes or protrusions to deploy and extend from the rear face of the airbag on either side of the occupant's head to limit rotation of the head. A pair of vertical tethers within an interior of the airbag configure the lobes and contour the rear face to form one or more low fabric tension zones or bubbles. The lobes maintain high fabric tension, similar to a pressurization of a main inflatable chamber of the airbag.
VEHICLE SEAT AIRBAG APPARATUS
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a vehicle seat airbag apparatus, wherein: when a side collision accident occurs, an active vent hole is closed to delay the deployment speed of a front cushion and thus to enable a side cushion so as to have sufficient internal pressure, thereby improving ability to respond to a side collision; and when a frontal collision accident occurs, the active vent hole maintains an open state to rapidly deploy the front cushion, thereby improving ability to respond to a frontal collision.
Airbag device for pedestrian protection
An airbag device for pedestrian protection includes means for shrinking and tying an airbag after deployment toward the storage. The airbag device includes a protecting sheet that is folded together with the airbag and stored in the storage, and a wrapping sheet that wraps the airbag as folded. The protecting sheet includes a main body and a plurality of straps disposed in a periphery of the main body. The wrapping sheet includes a rupturable portion that is configured to rupture and split the wrapping sheet into a front portion and a rear portion at airbag deployment, and a plurality of through holes each for receiving the straps in a vicinity of the rupturable portion in the front portion. The deployed airbag is shrank and tied toward the storage by passing the straps through the through holes and tying them so the straps do not come off of the through holes.
PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG AND AIRBAG APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A passenger-side airbag includes a first side panel, a second side panel opposite the first side panel, a first center panel having a first side edge part toward the first side panel, a second side edge part opposite the first side edge part, and a first front face situated between the first side edge part and the second side edge part to face an occupant, and a second center panel having a third side edge part toward the second side panel, a fourth side edge part opposite the third side edge part, and a second front face situated between the third side edge part and the fourth side edge part to face an occupant, wherein the second side edge part has a flange projecting in an opposite direction from the first side edge part, and the flange is bonded to the fourth side edge part such that the second front face bulges relative to the first front face.
