WORK VEHICLE
In a work vehicle, a safety frame includes a base, a pair of left and right lower frames extending from the base and fastened to a pair of left and right rear wheel fenders, and an upper frame having an inverted U shape connecting upper portions of the pair of left and right lower frames. The base is removably fastened to a rear axle case. A length in a width direction between a pair of left and right rear wheels is changed by changing a length in a width direction of the upper frame and changing a fastening position of the base to the rear axle case.
Roof airbag for vehicle
A roof airbag for a vehicle includes: an airbag cushion located at a roof panel of the vehicle and configured to be unfolded from a first side portion to a second side portion of the roof panel during an operation of the airbag cushion; a first seam portion extended in a direction intersected with an unfolded direction of the airbag cushion and allowing upper and lower surfaces of the airbag cushion to be in contact with each other; and an inflator coupled to the first side portion of the roof panel, and connected to the airbag cushion and configured to inject gas into the airbag cushion so as to allow the airbag cushion to be unfolded from the first side portion to the second side portion of the roof panel.
ROLL-OVER PROTECTION APPARATUS
The present invention is designed to be fitted in the upper part of Roll Bars on small vehicles such as quad bikes, ATV's, ride-on mowers, and small tractors (small vehicles) to overcome the issue with striking overhanging objects. If the Roll Bar system including the present invention is struck when the vehicle is in forward motion, the present invention allows the upper portion of the Roll Bar to flex, either allowing it to pass under the object or providing a more gradual reduction in speed as opposed to an instant jolt, then returning to the original upright position.
Rollover protection apparatus
A rollover protection apparatus unlocks and lowers from a raised position to a lowered position suitable for clearing a low hanging obstacle when an operator applies a force to an operator lever or pedal. The rollover protection apparatus returns to the raised position when the operator ceases applying force to the operator lever or pedal.
Work vehicle
A work vehicle includes a propelling device, which consists of a pair of right and left front wheels and a pair of right and left rear wheels, an engine configured to drive one of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels, an electric motor configured to drive the other of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels, a battery configured to supply electric power to the electric motor, and a controller configured to control the electric motor. The controller performs regeneration control at constant current value to charge the battery with regenerative power of the electric motor at a constant current value regardless of rotation speed of the electric motor.
Vehicular curtain air bag device
There is provided a vehicular curtain air bag device including a curtain air bag, the curtain air bag including: a rear seat chamber that inflates and deploys between a head of a rear seat occupant and a vehicle interior side section from an upper end section of the vehicle interior side section; and a headrest chamber extending from a rear end section of the rear seat chamber, the headrest chamber inflating and deploying between a headrest of a rear seat and the vehicle interior side section in a vehicle width direction.
Method and control unit for controlling at least one assistance function in the event of a rollover of a vehicle, and assistance system
A method for controlling at least one assistance function in the event of a rollover of a vehicle. The vehicle includes at least one acceleration sensor with zero point feedback. The method includes reading in a sensor signal and ascertain or reading a feedback signal. The sensor signal represents acceleration values detected by the at least one acceleration sensor. The feedback signal represents control values for the zero point feedback of the at least one acceleration sensor. The method also includes determining an occurrence of a rollover as a function of a result of comparisons. Furthermore, the method includes providing a rollover signal for output to the at least one assistance function. The rollover signal represents a recognized rollover of the vehicle.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING ROLLOVER CONDITION OF VEHCILE
An apparatus for determining a rollover condition of a vehicle may include: a rate sensing unit configured to sense one or more rates of a pitch rate PitchRate and a yaw rate YawRate of a vehicle and a roll rate RollRate_IN; an acceleration sensing unit configured to sense horizontal acceleration and vertical acceleration of the vehicle; a conversion unit configured to convert the horizontal acceleration and vertical acceleration into a pitch rate PitchRate_ACC and a yaw rate YawRate_ACC; a combination unit configured to calculate a pitch rate PitchRate_IN and a yaw rate YawRate_IN by combining the one or more rates with the pitch rate PitchRate_ACC and the yaw rate YawRate_ACC; and a determination unit configured to calculate a roll angle RollAngle, and determine whether the vehicle has rolled over, based on the roll rate RollRate_IN and the roll angle RollAngle.
Deployable roof containment system and method
One general aspect includes a deployable containment system for a vehicle roof panel, the system including: a pair of guide channels proximate to an opening through the vehicle roof panel, each guide channel of the pair having a first end and a second end; a housing mounted to the first end of the pair of guide channels. The deployable containment system also includes a shield configured to deploy from the housing and travel along the pair of guide channels so as to cover at least a portion of the opening. The deployable containment system also includes an actuator disposed proximate to the pair of guide channels, the actuator configured to deploy the shield from the housing after a deployment event.
MODULAR ROLL BAR
A modular roll bar mounted on the bed rails of a pickup truck includes a first bracket on a driver's side bed rail, the first bracket including a first locator and a second locator, and a second bracket on a passenger's side bed rail, the second bracket including a third locator and a fourth locator. A first bar is removably connected to the first locator and the third locator, the first bar extends to an upper surface of the cab of the pickup. A second bar is removably connected to the second locator and the fourth locator, the second bar extends to an upper surface of the cab of the pickup truck, is generally parallel to the first bar at the upper surface of the cab of the pickup truck.
