Off-highway recreational device
A vehicle configuration wherein the center of mass of the vehicle is approximately superimposed upon the passenger and driver centers of mass when seated within the vehicle. An occupant's center of mass can be approximated using a standard center of mass position approximation, or a combination of any number of standard center of mass position approximations. The vehicle's center of mass can be approximately superimposed upon the occupant's center of mass in at least the longitudinal and vertical directions.
Upgrade kit for a roll-bar of a historic single-seater car and upgrade method of a roll-bar of a historic single-seater car
An upgrade kit for an original roll-bar of a historic single-seater car, comprising an additional roll-bar with the shape of an inverted U or V and identifying second two ends operatively lower, and wherein each of said second two ends is adapted to be associated with first two ends of said original roll-bar by means of reversible connection means and at least one additional bracing rod adapted to be connected between a vertex of said additional roll-bar and said frame or an engine block of said historic single-seater car; the additional roll-bar being operatively superimposed to said original roll-bar.
Airbag device for panorama roof
An airbag device for a panorama roof may include: a roller disposed under a panorama roof and having a blind wound therearound, the blind serving to cover the panorama roof; a head liner covering the roller; an inflator disposed between the panorama roof and the roller; a guide tunnel connected to the inflator to guide gas; and a cushion connected to the guide tunnel, and deployed by gas guided through the guide tunnel so as to cover the panorama roof.
FORCE DISTRIBUTING PROGRESSIVE AIRBAG SYSTEM
A closed or sealed airbag system is described in which a semi-rigid, resilient force distribution plate is positioned proximate a pair of relatively flat inflatable airbags. Once inflated, the airbags retain the gas/fluid provided thereto, while the plate serves to redistribute a point of impact on the system across the entirety of the air bags so as to significantly reduce impact forces that otherwise would have been sustained by the object/person causing the initial point of impact. The airbags and plate are specifically engineered with features to distribute and dissipate force across their entire surface area, resulting in distributed deceleration of point load forces. Additional airbags and plates can be incorporated, including outer most plates on the outer facings of the system.
Airbag device for a motor vehicle, and airbag cushion for an airbag device
An airbag apparatus for a motor vehicle, which can be arranged on and attached to a seat frame, and which is designed to protect the head and thorax of a passenger in the event of a side impact or vehicle rollover includes a gas generator and an airbag cushion. The gas generator and the airbag cushion are connected to each other. The airbag apparatus can be arranged on and attached to a first side of the seat frame. The airbag apparatus has a first traction element attached by a first end thereof to a central region of the airbag cushion.
Cabin-protection structure and tractor
The present disclosure achieves a cabin-protection structure and a tractor, each of which has improved usability. Provided is a cabin-protection structure (30) for a tractor (1). The tractor (1) includes: a cabin framework (50) that defines a cabin (12) containing an operation device; a roof (20) provided above the cabin framework (50). The cabin-protection structure (30) is provided above the roof (20).
Utility vehicle
The utility vehicle has a door and a window unit detachably mounted to the door. The door includes an inner door panel, an outer door panel, and a door pipe frame supporting the inner door panel and the outer door panel. The window unit includes a window and a window unit pipe frame supporting the window. A plurality of downwardly extending pipe ends of the window unit pipe frame are inserted into a plurality of upwardly open pipe ends of the door pipe frame. The pipe ends of the window unit pipe frame are detachably fixed to the pipe ends of the door pipe frame using a locking device.
Airbag device
An airbag device that can efficiently suppress an injury value for an occupant in an emergency includes a frontal airbag cushion that is expanded at a vehicle front side of a driver's seat and a curtain airbag cushion that is expanded at an outer side of the frontal airbag cushion in a vehicle width direction. The frontal airbag cushion includes an inner bag that is expanded by receiving a gas, inner vents that are disposed in the inner bag to discharge the gas, an outer bag that contains the inner bag therein and is expanded by receiving the gas from the inner vents and outer vents that are disposed in the outer bag to discharge the gas. A distance between the inner bag and the curtain airbag cushion is smaller than a width of a head of an occupant.
Airbag device for a motor vehicle, and airbag cushion for an airbag device
An airbag device for a motor vehicle, the airbag device can be provided on and secured to a seat frame and is designed to protect the head and rib cage of an occupant in the event of side impact or vehicle rollover. The airbag device has a gas generator, an airbag cushion and a first securing system, the first securing system, the gas generator and the airbag cushion being connected to one another to secure the airbag device to the seat frame. A second securing system is provided in the side region of the airbag cushion above the connecting region with the first securing system The second securing system is designed to secure the airbag cushion, with an additional securing point in the side region, to the seat frame above the first securing system.
