OCCUPANT MONITORING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC SYSTEM
An occupant monitoring device for a vehicle includes an image acquisition unit, a memory, a collision detector, and a controller. The image acquisition unit is configured to acquire a captured image of an occupant in the vehicle. The memory is configured to record the captured image acquired by the image acquisition unit. The collision detector is configured to detect collision of the vehicle. The controller is configured to control the image acquisition unit, the memory, and the collision detector. The controller is configured to detect each of consecutive collisions of the vehicle by the collision detector, acquire the captured image after each of the collisions by the image acquisition unit, and record the captured image acquired for each of the collisions on the memory.
AIR-BAG APPARATUS
An air-bag apparatus includes: a frame member that is tiltable along a seat back of a vehicle seat; and a bag body that is embedded in the frame member, that is inflated and expanded to a front of an occupant seated on the vehicle seat at a time of an impact input, and that prevents a body of the occupant from being separated from the seat back.
Airbag system with overlapping airbags
Vehicular airbag system includes a holder, airbag assemblies each having at least one inflatable airbag, and support brackets arranged on the holder. Each support bracket retains an airbag assembly. The support brackets have different heights relative to a plane defined by or through the holder and are positioned relative to one another such that the airbags inflate at different heights relative to the plane and an airbag inflating at a greatest height from the plane overlies at least one other airbag closer to the plane. The holder may form a housing with a cover that is broken or displaced during airbag deployment, with the support brackets and airbag assemblies being situated in a chamber defined in the housing between the holder and the cover.
Side airbag device
A side airbag device including an airbag (2); an inflator (3); and an inner tube (4) formed of a fabric and covering discharge holes (3a) of the inflator (3). The inner tube (4) protrudes toward a center of the airbag (2) in a deployed state and a first end (4b) is closed in the direction of gas discharge, and second ends (4c) that are in a vehicle height direction of the airbag (2) in the deployed state are open. The inner tube (4) is folded back at a folded-back portion (4d) inside the airbag (2) when the airbag (2) is folded in a case where the side airbag device is installed in a vehicle seat back.
Vehicle airbag
An airbag assembly includes a housing and an airbag supported by the housing. A sheet includes a first end fixed relative to the housing and a second end. A reinforcement is elongated on the sheet. The sheet is deployable below the airbag with the second end free from the airbag.

Airbag device
An airbag device includes: a gas generator which is extended along an axial line thereof and which includes: a generator body including a gas injection section at one end section; and an installing protrusion protruding from an outer face of the generator body; and an airbag which includes a bag body developed and inflated by an inflation gas supplied from the gas injection section. The gas generator and the airbag are installed on a vehicle by the installing protrusion. The bag body includes an insertion port having a size allowing the gas injection section to pass through and not allowing a portion of the gas generator provided with the installing protrusion to pass through. The gas injection section is disposed inside the bag body, and the installing protrusion is disposed outside the bag body.
Off-highway recreational vehicle
A vehicle configuration wherein the center of mass of the vehicle is approximately superimposed upon the passenger and driver centers of mass when seated within the vehicle. An occupant's center of mass can be approximated using a standard center of mass position approximation, or a combination of any number of standard center of mass position approximations. The vehicle's center of mass can be approximately superimposed upon the occupant's center of mass in at least the longitudinal and vertical directions.
Off-highway recreational vehicle
A vehicle configuration wherein the center of mass of the vehicle is approximately superimposed upon the passenger and driver centers of mass when seated within the vehicle. OFF-HIGHWAY RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
A recreational off-highway vehicle includes side-by-side passenger and driver seats held within a chassis that is approximately 50 inches wide. The seats sit low in the chassis and are covered by a roll cage. Grab handles are positioned on the sides of the passenger seat. Select large round tubing protects the vehicle, while rectangular tubing frames the portions of the vehicle beneath body panels. The vehicle is powered by an engine rearward of the seats that is connected to a transaxle. The engine and transaxle are isolation mounted together with a portion of the air intake assembly. The vehicle is suited for rough terrain travel.
