A temporary fixing unit includes a supporting portion including a distal end portion passed through an aperture, and a holding portion provided with an inclined surface that slides along an edge portion of the aperture when passed through the aperture. The temporary fixing unit also includes a spring portion connecting the distal end portion of the supporting portion and the holding portion and that deforms in a twisted manner as the holding portion is pushed down when the inclined surface of the holding portion slides along the edge portion of the aperture. When the holding portion is passed through the aperture, a portion of a door panel is held between the holding portion and an elastic portion. Furthermore, the elastic portion is elastically deformed so as to press the door panel.

WIRE GUIDE FOR AIRBAG

A wire guide for an airbag includes a first connection portion connected to a wire harness, a second connection portion connected to a branch wire branching off from the wire harness, and an elastic portion connecting the first and second connection portions and provided to be elastically deformable, in which a cross-section of the wire guide is formed in a ? shape, and the wire guide limits an installation route for the branch wire that transmits power and a control signal to a lighting emblem module provided on an airbag cover that accommodates an airbag module therein.

Control device

A control device to be mounted on a vehicle, includes: a board; a control circuit which is provided on the board and is configured to execute a control in a case of a collision of the vehicle; a case in which the board is accommodated; and a bracket that extends from a side surface of the case and is to be fixed to the vehicle with a fastening member, and the bracket includes: a groove portion that extends in an intersection direction intersecting an extending direction of the bracket from the case; and a protrusion that closes a part of the groove portion.

Power distributor with plug-in electronics

The power distributor for vehicles according to the present disclosure includes at least the following components: an electronic attachment and a central distributor module with a printed circuit board for electrical components, a feed-in busbar to connect the printed circuit board to a feed-in terminal, and a cable directly connected to the power distributor. The electronic attachment accommodates the ESD-sensitive electronic components and serves to switch and where applicable to diagnose the electrical components on the printed circuit board and can be connected to the printed circuit board by a plug-in contact with several terminals. According to the present disclosure, the advantages of the printed circuit board for unbundling the signals to the various electrical components are combined with the advantages of a separate electronic attachment.

SMART SURFACE FOR DETECTING COLLISION FORCES

A pressure sensing apparatus for an airbag may include: a sensor element configured to measure a change of air pressure by a vehicle collision; a housing having the sensor element seated therein, including a terminal part electrically connected to the sensor element, and fixed to a vehicle body; a cover detachably installed on the housing; and an elastic pressing part having one side connected to the cover and the other side protruded toward the sensor element so as to press the sensor element, and formed of an elastically deformable material. The housing may include a support protrusion to support the bottom of the sensor element with the terminal part.

SENSING SYSTEM AND GLASS MATERIAL FOR VEHICLES

A vehicle includes a body of the vehicle and a sensing system coupled to the body. The sensing system includes optical componentry and a glass material, where the glass material at least in part houses the optical componentry and the glass material is at least partially transparent to light at the wavelength of the optical componentry. Further the glass material has mechanical and performance properties that allow the sensing system to be positioned particularly low on the vehicle, at a position that may be of higher risk for damage from debris.

METHOD FOR PROTECTING AT LEAST ONE OCCUPANT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
20190061664 · 2019-02-28 ·

A method for protecting at least one occupant of a motor vehicle, including a) monitoring at least one electronic system of the motor vehicle, and b) outputting a signal for adapting at least one parameter which predefines a state of a particular reversible restraint system for the at least one occupant in response to a system error detected in the monitoring according to step a).

STEERING WHEEL

A steering wheel includes a functional device and a control device, which is electrically connected to the functional device. The functional device includes a functional case, which constitutes a housing of the functional device. The control device includes a control case, which constitutes a housing of the control device. A first connector is partially exposed to an outside of the functional case. A second connector is partially exposed to an outside of the control case. The first connector is coupled to the second connector, so that the functional device is electrically connected to the control device without a harness between the functional case and the control case.
