Stationary ergometric exercise device
A stationary exercise device comprises pedals mounted via cranks to opposite sides of a drive wheel; a flywheel with a magnetic rim coupled to the drive wheel; a brake with a motor and one or more permanent magnets mounted for movement relative to the magnetic rim; a measuring unit for measuring at least one of the drive force applied via the drive wheel and the related torque; a measuring device for measuring cadence; and a command module. The command module uses measurements from the measuring unit and the measuring device to calculate a performance parameter and compares the performance parameter against a predetermined performance profile. The command module also can control the motor to move the permanent magnets relative to the magnetic rim to adjust the braking force applied and thereby adjust the performance parameter to conform with the performance profile.
STATIONARY EXERCISE BICYCLE WITH HORIZONTAL FLYWHEEL
An exercise machine such as a stationary exercise bicycle includes a body supported by the ground; an axle disposed in the body; a first gear disposed on the axle; a driving shaft vertically disposed in the body; a second gear disposed on the driving shaft and meshed the first gear; and a horizontally disposed flywheel disposed in a base of the body. A rotation of the axle rotates the flywheel via the first gear, the second gear, and the driving shaft.
EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AND METHOD OF EXERCISING UTILIZING A PULSE GENERATION
An exercise equipment configured to exercise muscles by require the muscles to generate torque intermittently is provided. The exercise equipment includes a sleeve. A pipe is slidably disposed within the sleeve. The sleeve is concentric to the pipe wherein the outer surface of the pipe is spaced apart the inner surface of the sleeve. A counterweight is mounted to at least one end of the pipe wherein the rotation of the pipe along an orbital path causes the pipe to turn within the bore of the sleeve. The turning of the pipe is a result of the counterweights completing a revolution as the counterweights rotate about the longitudinal axis of the pipe. The turning of the pipe generates a pulse so as to actuate muscular structure within the body of the user.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, and a console configured to control the resistance mechanism and guide a user through a workout using the exercise machine using a projected visual indicator to assist a user in performing the workout properly.
LATERAL GLIDE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISE APPARATUS
A lateral glide elliptical exercise apparatus includes a frame defining a center line, a pair of pedal units disposed at two opposite lateral sides relative to the center line each including a pivoting block and a pedal shaft pivotally connected to the pivoting block, a damping unit for providing a damping resistance to the pedal units, and a pair of gliding guide units respectively mounted at the frame, each gliding guide unit includes a gliding guide, an actuation block and a linkage arranged so that the actuation block can be driven by the associating linkage to slide smoothly between an inner end portion and an outer end portion of the associating gliding guide when the pedal units are being alternately pedaled by the user.
FLEXOR AND EXTENSOR EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device that exercises both flexor and extensor muscles is provided. The exercise device includes a base having a front end, a rear end, a first side and a second side. Protruding from the rear end of the base is an anchor bar. The anchor bar may be substantially perpendicular to the base. An overhead handle bar may be pivotally connected to the top of the anchor bar by a pivot point. A stationary fulcrum may be secured to opposing sides of the base. A rotating rod is secured to the stationary fulcrum and rotates about a horizontal axis running through the rotating rod and the fulcrum. A slant board is supported by and pivots about the rotating rod.

FLEXOR AND EXTENSOR EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device that exercises both flexor and extensor muscles. The exercise device includes a base. First and second sidewalls upwardly extend from opposing sides of the base. Each of the first and second sidewall has a plurality of teeth formed on an upper rim extending from the front end to the rear end of the base. At least a first gear is secured to a first end of an elongated rod and at least a second gear is secured to a second end of the elongated rod. A plurality of teeth of the first gear interlock with the plurality of teeth of the first sidewall and a plurality of teeth of the second gear interlock with the plurality of teeth of the second sidewall. A board rests on the elongated rod in between the first end and the second end.

Multiple exercise medicine ball
A multiple exercise medicine ball including a medicine ball body having core, a pair of diametrically opposed indents in an outer wall thereof, and a pair of u-shaped handles which extend from the indents and can be raised for use as a dumbbell, a barbell and a curl bar. A pair of cylindrical bars, rotatably disposed in a pair of channels in the core and extending outwardly through a center of the indents, can be gripped while the user in a pushup exercise position to perform an abdominal wheel exercise. An inverted substantially u-shaped grip member, which extends from atop the medicine ball, is used for kettlebell fitness training. A 360 degree rotatable motion ball protrudes from a bottom side of the medicine ball body.
