In addition, the single-cell partition protects and secures custodial occupants contained therein from non-custodial occupants present in the additional available space in the rear passenger area while maintaining a method to rapidly remove a side window assembly to provide access to the custodial passenger. The single-cell partition also incorporates additional features such as a roof bracing plate to increase the rigidity of the structure between the front and rear wall, a roof plate cutout to provide light to the custodial passenger and a head support for the custodial passenger.
