A system that defines a personal barrier, having: a panel with a panel bottom end, a panel top end, a panel forward end and a panel aft end, the panel defines: a panel stationary portion; a first living hinge connected to the panel stationary portion, the first living hinge being located between the panel top and bottom ends, and the first living hinge including inset hinge grooves; and a flap connected to the first living hinge; the first living hinge is configured for being in a flexed state, whereby the flap is pivoted against the panel stationary portion, and an unflexed state, whereby the flap is planar with the panel stationary portion; and a panel support connected to the panel stationary portion for securing the panel stationary portion to a support structure.

The single-cell partition forms a barrier between front and rear passenger areas of a vehicle and provides access to a portion of the rear passenger area by occupants of the front passenger area who are not in custody. In addition, the single-cell partition protects and secures custodial occupants contained therein from non-custodial occupants present in the additional available space in the rear passenger area while maintaining a method to rapidly remove a side window assembly to provide access to the custodial passenger. The single-cell partition also incorporates additional features such as a roof bracing plate to increase the rigidity of the structure between the front and rear wall, a roof plate cutout to provide light to the custodial passenger and a head support for the custodial passenger.

A vehicle that can be modified for use in a variety of use environments and/or applications is provided. The vehicle includes a roof system includes a body and a roof system coupled to the body. The roof system includes a roof panel including a plurality of mounting points for the mounting of components and/or accessories. An interior cabin of the vehicle includes a front seating area, a rear seating area, and a cargo area. Divider panels may be secured in the vehicle to separate the front seating area, the rear seating area and the cargo area.

A roof system for a vehicle is provided. The roof system includes a roof panel including a plurality of mounting points. A plurality of components and/or accessories may be mounted to the roof system at the plurality of mounting points. A liner panel may be coupled to the roof panel, defining an interior facing side of the roof system. The liner panel may be coupled to the roof panel by a plurality of fasteners extending through the liner panel and into the roof panel from and interior facing side of the roof system. The liner panel may include a plurality of mounting points providing for the coupling or mounting of a plurality of accessories and/or components to the interior facing side of the roof system.

A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a cab back panel assembly pivotably coupled to a cab of a vehicle, and a sill assembly that includes a portion of a securing system. The sill assembly is pivotably coupled to the vehicle. The sill assembly is pivotable back and forth between a latching position where the cab back panel assembly can engage the portion of the sill assembly and a stowed position.

The present disclosure is directed to a modular autonomous-vehicle interior. In particular, an autonomous vehicle can comprise an interior comprising a plurality of different and distinct regions. Each of the regions can comprise one or more mechanical interfaces associated therewith. The autonomous vehicle can also include, for each of one or more of the regions, at least one modular interior unit comprising an interior element and a base mechanically interfaced with the interior via the mechanical interface(s) associated with the region.

A partition separates a cabin space from a bed space on a vehicle having a first side body and a second side body. The partition includes a forward-opening receptacle fixable to the first side body and to the second side body to span between the first side body and the second side body and includes a rear panel. The partition includes a modular assembly securable as a unit to a forward side of the receptacle. The modular assembly includes a front panel and a window glass configured to be translatably supported by the modular assembly between the front panel and the rear panel.

A vehicular divider assembly includes a member that is positionable on a ceiling of a vehicle cabin. A divider is coupled to the member such that the divider extending between a forward compartment of the vehicle cabin and a rear compartment of the vehicle cabin. The divider is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to inhibit the transfer of microbes between the forward compartment and the rear compartment. A flap is integrated into the divider to facilitate air to move between the forward compartment and the rear compartment of the vehicle cabin. A pair of first mating members and a pair of second mating members is each coupled the divider which can be secured to structural features of the vehicle cabin.

An armrest module includes an armrest base adapted to be coupled to a vehicle and configured to provide a rest area for a passenger's arm and a passenger utility unit coupled to the armrest base. The armrest module further includes a sanitization system coupled to at least one of the armrest base and the passenger utility unit.
