Armrest assembly moveable between raised and lowered positions
A seat for a vehicle includes a seat back and a seat bottom extending from the seat back along a seat-bottom axis. A track is fixed relative to the seat bottom and is elongated along the seat-bottom axis. A slider is slidably engaged with the track along the seat-bottom axis. A link is pivotally engaged with the slider. An armrest is pivotally engaged with the link. A pyrotechnic actuator connected to the slider. In the event of a sensed vehicle impact, the pyrotechnic actuator pulls the slider to move the armrest to a raised position.
ARMREST ASSEMBLY MOVEABLE BETWEEN RAISED AND LOWERED POSITIONS

In the event of a sensed vehicle impact, the pyrotechnic actuator pulls the slider to move the armrest to a raised position.
ENERGY ABSORBING FEATURE FOR SEATBACK
A seat includes a seat bottom having an occupant support surface, a seatback connected to the seat bottom, the seatback having an occupant support side cooperating with the occupant support surface, and a rear side, and an energy absorbing feature including a rigid member connected to the rear side of the seatback. The rigid member is movable between a storage position adjacent the seatback, and a deployed position extending into a cargo space of a vehicle upon detection or occurrence of an impact event. In the deployed position, the rigid member is capable of interfacing with cargo, a cargo floor, or both, to reduce force imparted on and deflection of the seatback and deflect cargo from impacting the seatback.
DEPLOYABLE SEAT ARMREST
A seat includes a seatback and an armrest supported by the seatback. The armrest is rotatable relative to the seatback to a deployed position. A swing bar is supported by the armrest and is rotatable relative to the armrest to a downward position. The swing bar in the downward position is elongated downwardly from the armrest. A drive belt is indexed with the armrest and the swing bar to rotate the swing bar to the downward position when the armrests rotates to the deployed position.
Vehicle safety device
A vehicle safety device has a connective rod having a proximal end and a distal end, the solenoid assembly connected with the distal end of the connective rod, and the solenoid assembly comprising a solenoid. The vehicle safety device includes a reinforced pad comprising a rigid support plate and a pad portion, the reinforced pad connected with the solenoid assembly. The vehicle safety device further includes an activation assembly comprising a relay device configured to transmit an activation signal to the solenoid.
OCCUPANT PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A seat assembly having an occupant protection system. The occupant protection system may have a deployable shield. The deployable shield may extend around multiple sides of the seat assembly. may extend at least partially around a front of a seat occupant when deployed, may be deployable along a dynamic deployment path based on a detected position of a seat occupant, or combinations thereof.
RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR AN AMUSEMENT PARK ATTRACTION
A ride vehicle for an attraction of an amusement park includes a ride seat, a pivot adapter configured to rotate relative to the ride seat, a gear of the pivot adapter comprising a first set of teeth, a passenger restraint piece coupled to the pivot adapter and configured to rotate with the pivot adapter between a closed and an open position, and a cap having a second set of teeth. The cap is configured to be positioned to engage the gear of the pivot adapter such that the second set of teeth of the cap engages with the first set of teeth of the gear, and engagement between the second set of teeth and the first set of teeth substantially blocks movement of the pivot adapter relative to the ride seat in a rotational direction.
Side airbag assembly
A restraint system includes a seat defining a lateral axis and an airbag housing supported by the seat. The airbag housing includes a first arm and a second arm. The first arm is rotatable relative to the seat about a rotational axis generally parallel to the lateral axis, and the second arm is fixed relative to the seat. An airbag is disposed between the first arm and the second arm. The airbag is attached to one of the first arm or the second arm.
SAFETY RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
The safety restraint system for motor vehicles, arranged in the roof lining of the vehicle, comprising an elastic wall (1), brackets (2), a gas generator consisting of an inflator, and a control electronics with impact sensors, the essence of which consists in that, that a folded elastic wall (1) is connected under the roof of the vehicle to at least two brackets (2), consisting of a double strip of plastic film and/or elastic textile, when the said brackets (2) consist of a system of tightly into each other inserted extension parts forming a solid bracket (2), whereby an assembly of the folded elastic wall (1) and brackets (2) is arranged in a roof housing (3), and such roof housing (3) is attached under the roof of the vehicle. Both upper edges of the folded elastic wall (1) are firmly attached to the first, upper, solid part (21) of the bracket (2), arranged in the roof housing (3) nearest to the roof lining of the vehicle and firmly connected to this roof housing (3), whereby the double strip of the plastic film and/or elastic textile, forming the elastic wall (1), is on its lower side closed by means of a weld seam and/or a sewn seam to create a closed interior space with the front and rear wall, a bag, in which the brackets (2) are arranged and guided. The brackets (2) are deployed upon activation after an impact of the vehicle on the command of the control electronics with impact sensors by the gas pressure triggered from the gas generator, the inflator; and the mechanical movement of the system of tightly into each other inserted extension parts, forming a solid bracket (2), deploys the elastic wall (1) from a plastic film and/or elastic textile to the maximum, and thus the shape of the elastic wall (1) stretches appropriately and becomes solid. Thus formed elastic wall (1) greatly reduces the forward movement path of the head, and so it reduces the load on the vertebras and prevents contact with a solid obstacle.
DEPLOYABLE PANEL FOR AN AIRBAG
An assembly includes an interior component. The assembly includes a deployable panel having an upper panel and a lower panel supported by the interior component, the deployable panel being movable relative to the interior component from a retracted position to an extended position. The assembly includes a hinge between the upper panel and the lower panel. The assembly includes an airbag inflatable to an inflated position in which the airbag is positioned to abut the upper panel in the extended position.
