AUTOMOBILE SEAT BELT HOLDER
A seat belt holder is provided for securing a latch plate of an associated unused seat belt to the molding around the base of the automobile seat, thereby preventing the latch plate from annoyingly rattling around when the vehicle is in motion. The seat belt holder includes a body providing a snap fit tab and an opposing latch plate receptacle. The latch plate receptacle is adapted to removably engage the latch plate, while the snap fit tab is adapted to removably snap connect to various molding elements of automobile seats.
SEATBELT CONTROLLING DEVICE
There is provided a seatbelt controlling device including: a seatbelt that has an engaging portion, and that restrains a vehicle occupant seated in a vehicle seat; a sensing portion that is provided at the vehicle seat, and that senses seating of a vehicle occupant; a buckle that is capable of being raised and lowered or capable of being moved forward and rearward, and that is engaged with the engaging portion; a buckle moving portion that raises and lowers an engaged position of the engaging portion and the buckle, or moves the engaged position forward and rearward; and a control section that effects control to operate the buckle moving portion such that the buckle is raised or is moved forward after a set time elapses from a point in time when seating of a vehicle occupant is sensed at the sensing portion.
VEHICLE SEAT HARNESS RETAINER
A harness retainer having a cover, a magnet, a rear plate and a fastener. The cover has a ledge defining a flat surface. The rear plate is attached to the cover and is constructed to define a contour having a radius of curvature. The magnet is disposed between the cover and the rear plate and is disposed under the ledge. The rear plate has a first retainer and a second retainer. The fastener is fixedly attached to the first retainer and removably attached to the second retainer.
Seat belt holding apparatus
A seat belt buckle holding apparatus configured to receive and retain a female portion of a seat belt buckle so as to provide improved access thereto when adjacent a child booster seat. The seat belt buckle holding apparatus includes a housing being rectangular in shape having an exterior wall. The housing includes an upper end and a lower end. A central passage is centrally formed in the housing and extends intermediate the upper end and the lower end. The central passage includes an interior wall wherein the interior wall has gripping members formed thereon. The gripping members extend substantially the length of the central passage and are tapered in shape having a greater width proximate the upper end of the housing.
Seat belt device
In a seat belt device, when a buckle cover is moved obliquely upward in a vehicle forward direction relative to a buckle guide and the buckle cover reaches a moving endpoint at a vehicle upper side relative to the buckle guide, cover-side engagement portions of the buckle cover become sandwiched between vehicle lower side surfaces of guide-side engagement portions of the buckle guide, and the outside surfaces of guide long-side wall portions of the buckle guide. Due to this, not only movement of the cover-side engagement portions of the buckle cover in the vehicle upward direction but also movement of the cover-side engagement portions outwards in the thickness directions of the cross-sectional shapes of the buckle cover and the buckle guide are restrained by the guide-side engagement portions.
VEHICLE SEAT CUSHION TRIM AND SEAT BELT BUCKLE ARRANGEMENT WITH ELASTIC RETURN
A seat cushion trim assembly cooperates with a seat belt buckle having a flexible web, a seat connection portion for fixing a lower portion of the flexible web to seat location and a buckle fixed to an upper end of the flexible web. The seat cushion trim assembly includes a seat cushion trim and an elastic cord with a loop portion configured to extend around the seat belt buckle intermediate portion, an extensible portion extending from the loop portion to a trim fixation end, and a fastening arrangement fixing the trim fixation end to the seat cushion trim. The extensible portion bridges a distance from the flexible web to the trim and supports the buckle to prevent the buckle from moving out of an operative position, upon pivoting movement of a seat back to a forward position and to restore a buckle position upon a return pivoting movement.
BUCKLE FOR SEATBELT DEVICE
A buckle in a seatbelt apparatus includes a buckle stay 20, a buckle base 10 coupled to the buckle stay so as to be able to tilt in a first direction X and to pivot in a second direction Y, with respect to the buckle stay 20, and an elastic member that returns the buckle base 10 tilted in the first direction X and the buckle base 10 pivoted in the second direction Y to an original position. A support shaft 30 has a pair of arm portions 32 provided at an upper portion 31 of the support shaft 30 and extending in a lateral direction. Tip portions of the arm portions 32 are coupled into respective engagement grooves 16 formed in a pair of side plate portions 12 of the buckle base 10.
VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLIES
A seat for a vehicle is provided. The seat comprises a lock device having an unlocked position and a locked position and an unlock groove disposed on a seat back. The unlock groove is in communication with the lock device and configured to receive a tongue of a seatbelt, and the lock device is unlocked when the tongue is inserted into the unlock groove.
SEAT BELT
Disclosed seat belt assemblies or mechanisms include a seat belt guide which positions the seat belt for convenient ingress and egress by an operator, but in a position which reminds the operator to fasten the seat belt. The seat belt guide is configured to be stiffer in one direction of movement to maintain the metal tab of the seat belt at a raised position to one side of the operator seat, for example at a position adjacent to an operator joystick or control, but to allow the guide and the seat belt to be moved across the operator seat (and operator) for buckling.
Guide Wall Attachment Device for a Seat Belt Receiver
A guide wall attachment device includes a guide wall having a front side and a back side, an attachment means extending from the front side of the guide wall at a first location to the front side of the guide wall at a second location, and an opening disposed between an inner surface of the attachment means and the front side of the guide wall. The opening is configured to receive and secure a seat belt receiver.
