The three-point seatbelt is determined as being one of buckled and unbuckled. The two-point seatbelt is determined as being one of buckled and unbuckled. A warning signal is initiated upon determining that one of the seatbelts is unbuckled and the seat is occupied. The warning signal is terminated upon determining that both of the seatbelts are buckled and that the signal has been initiated.
Harness bar assembly
A vehicle includes a body. A front seat and a rear seat are each supported by the body. A seat belt buckle is supported by the rear seat. A harness bar is supported by the body and disposed between the front seat and the rear seat. A webbing is attached to the harness bar. A tongue is attached to the webbing. The tongue is engageable with the seat belt buckle.
FOUR-POINT SEATBELT DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A four-point seatbelt device for a vehicle including: a left and right pair of lap belts; a left and right pair of shoulder belts connected with the respective lap belts; a front latch portion connecting and disconnecting the left lap belt and left shoulder belt with the right lap belt and right shoulder belt; a retractor capable of taking up and pulling out the belt; a pull-out amount detection section capable of detecting a pull-out amount of the belt from the retractor; and a sitting posture detection section configured to determine the sitting posture of the occupant on the basis of the pull-out amount detected by the pull-out amount detection section, in a case in which a sitting posture of the occupant changes after the occupant sits on the vehicle seat and the front latch portion is connected.
Restraint system for a vehicle seat operatively mounted in a motor vehicle
A restraint system for a vehicle seat operatively mounted in a motor vehicle may include a restraint web operatively coupled to at least one of the vehicle seat and the motor vehicle, an elongated sleeve received on and at least partially about the restraint web, and a sleeve position adjuster coupled to the sleeve and including an actuator normally engaging a portion of the restraint web to fix a position of the sleeve relative to the restraint web and responsive to actuation thereof to disengage from the restraint web to allow the sleeve to be moved along the restraint web.
Harness system with a buckle restraining function
A harness system is provided and includes an upper buckle, an upper strap and a restraining assembly. The upper strap includes shoulder portion and a waist portion divided by the upper buckle. A through slot is formed on the upper buckle. The restraining assembly includes an anti-sliding structure, a beam structure disposed on the upper buckle and a stopping component. The through slot includes a first portion and a second portion divided by the beam structure and respectively adjacent to the shoulder portion and the waist portion. The upper strap passes through the first portion of the through slot from bottom to top and passes through the second portion of the through slot from top to bottom. The stopping component is detachably disposed on the shoulder portion and configured to abut against the upper buckle for restraining a sliding movement of the upper buckle relative to the upper strap.
Carseat Belt Attachment
A child safety seat belt to provide solution for the frustrating and exasperating experience of fighting seatbelts for parents when placing their infants in child car seats is disclosed. The child safety seat belt comprises an attachment frame to snap the existing seat belts on the child car seat. The attachment frame is configured to have three separate segments specially designed to fit at the end of each belt via a connection joint at an upper section, a middle section and a lower section. The connection joint is configured to juxtapose the three separate segments together once the existing seat belt is snapped into the attachment frame and spreads out in upright position to provide access for the parent to take out the child from the seat.
MULTI-POINT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY
A multi-point seat belt assembly has a buckle assembly, two webbing-locking mechanisms, two main webbings, and at least one retractor. The buckle assembly has a buckle member and a tongue member detachably inserted into the buckle member. The webbing-locking mechanisms are mounted on the buckle assembly, and each webbing-locking mechanism has a connecting member and a movable member mounted moveably on the connecting member. The connecting members of the two webbing-locking mechanisms are connected respectively with the buckle member and the tongue member. The main webbings are mounted respectively through the webbing-locking mechanisms and each main webbing has an end. The at least one retractor is connected with the ends of the two main webbings.
Seatback with a seatbelt webbing retaining member with a releasably coupled end to allow the insertion of and to retain a webbing section of a seatbelt assembly
A seatback for a vehicle comprises a midline. A first upper seatbelt webbing contact portion is disposed to a first side of the midline. A first seatbelt webbing retaining member is disposed to the first side. The first seatbelt webbing retaining member has a medial end, a lateral end further away from the midline than the medial end, and a middle portion between the medial end and the lateral end. Either the medial end or the lateral end of the first seatbelt webbing retaining member is affixed to the seatback and the other of the medial end or the lateral end is releasably coupled to the seatback. The middle portion is disposed above the first upper seatbelt webbing contact portion forming a gap configured to retain a first webbing section of a seatbelt assembly.
Seat Belt Apparatus, Vehicle Seat, and Vehicle
A seat belt apparatus includes a main belt, a first buckle that is disposed on an extended part of the main belt and that can be buckled and fastened to a second side of the vehicle seat corresponding to a waist on the other side of the passenger, and an auxiliary belt extending from a second part of a backrest of the vehicle seat corresponding to an underarm of the passenger, where the second part is lower than the first part. The apparatus is configured such that in the event a body of the passenger slides forward relative to the vehicle seat, the underarm of the passenger is blocked by the auxiliary belt.
