Exercise apparatus with non-uniform foot pad transverse spacing
A method and apparatus guide inclined movement of a left foot pad in a fore-aft direction on a first side of a longitudinal centerline of an exercise apparatus and inclined movement of a right foot pad in the fore-aft direction on a second side of the longitudinal centerline of the exercise apparatus such that the right foot pad and the left foot pad are transversely spaced from the longitudinal centerline by a first distance when proximate to a front of the exercise apparatus and are transversely spaced from the longitudinal centerline by a second distance greater than the first distance when proximate to a rear of the exercise apparatus.
SWIMMING TRAINING AND SWIMMING STROKE BICYCLE
Embodiments of the invention relate to a swimming training and swimming stroke bicycle capable of being ridden by applying a swimming stroke, and to a swimming training and swimming stroke bicycle capable of allowing swimming training to be carried out even when a user is not in a swimming pool and allowing a swimming stroke to be practiced and the muscular strength required for swimming to be trained since it is possible to ride the bicycle in various swimming styles such as freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly or backstroke, and capable of allowing a bicycle ride to be enjoyed without boredom since a bicycle can be ridden in new and various styles.
WEIGHT STACK PUSHUP EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise machine is provided for developing the chest muscles while maintaining correct biomechanical posture and joint movement for the user, thereby maximizing efficiency and safety. The exercise machine includes a track on which two platforms independently slide. The platforms are each interconnected to a weight stack unit or other vertical resistance unit that provide resistance to the inward movement of the platforms. Each platform may also be connected to a tension element or resistance band that is configured to provide gradual and progressively increased resistance as the platforms are moved inwardly towards the center or center stop of the track.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus includes a pair of handle elements and a pair of housing elements. Each handle element includes a manually grippable bar and a base portion having a substantially spherical contact surface. Each housing element is substantially hemispherical and has a substantially central window. Each handle element is releasably locatable within a housing element to form a substantially hemispherical handle body in which the contact surface of the handle element is located within the window of the housing element and provides a contact point about which the housing body is rotatable when located on a support surface.
Unsupported Pelvic / Spine, Third Class Lever Exercise System and Method
The invention is embodied in an exercise system that can allow its user to counterbalance the effects associated with a predominantly sedentary lifestyle though a fitness device that comprises a combination of (a) supporting the lower body in a manner that permits a user's upper body to act as a third class lever with the user's hips operating as fulcrum and (b) engaging in resistance exercises with the upper body in a horizontal position, unsupported above the greater trochanter.
Multi-axis adjustable exercise machine
A multi-axis adjustable exercise machine which is pivotable about both a pitch axis and a roll axis with respect to a base for allowing an exerciser to perform a wide range of exercises on a pitched or rolled exercise machine. The multi-axis adjustable exercise machine generally includes an exercise machine which is adjustable with respect to a base. The exercise machine may be pivoted about a roll axis to adjust the roll angle of the exercise machine or may be pivoted about a pitch axis to adjust the pitch angle of the exercise machine. One or more actuators may be connected between the base and the exercise machine to effectuate the pivoting of the exercise machine about either or both axes with respect to the base.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL EXERCISE PLATFORM
An exercise platform, comprising: a base; a frame including a plurality of frame support members that extend upwardly from the base; a treadmill including a treadmill frame, a belt, a support plate, rollers, flywheels, and a magnetic resistance system, wherein the treadmill mechanically connects to the base using a foldable track support member that extends from a topside of the base to a bottom side of the treadmill frame, and wherein the treadmill is fastened to at least two of the plurality of frame support members; a pair of dips handles, wherein each dips handle connects to a respective frame support member, of the plurality of frame support members; and a pull-up bar positioned along a topside of the frame.
Sporting apparatus with variable load module
An exercise equipment with a variable load module includes a seating portion providing a space for a user to sit; an external force application portion disposed adjacent to the seating portion and including the rotating bar that rotates about a main rotating axis and a grip portion that is formed on the rotating bar and provides a space for a user to grip; a load application portion disposed at the rear of the seating portion, including a plurality of weights, and connected to the rotating bar with a cable to be raised and lowered according to the rotation of the rotating bar; and a variable load module connecting the rotating bar and the load application portion and allowing the position at which the cable is connected to the rotating bar to vary so that the load applied to the rotating bar changes.
COLLAPSIBLE DUAL-TRANSVERSE BAR PORTABLE PHYSICAL THERAPY PARALLEL BAR SYSTEMS
The present invention is directed to a physical therapy device capable of folding into a single portable device comprising a frame comprising a first lengthwise bar and a second lengthwise bar; and a first transverse bar and a second transverse bar. The frame is configured to be adjusted between an unfolded configuration for use and a folded configuration for storage; a first set of stanchions, each coupled to at least a portion of the first lengthwise bar; and a first handrail coupled to a top portion of each of the first set of stanchions. In the folded configuration, the first lengthwise bar is parallel to the second lengthwise bar, and the first and second transverse bars are configured to hinge such that each bar folds towards a center region of the frame to be substantially parallel to the first and second lengthwise bars.
Swing training assemblies and methods of swing training using swing training assemblies
Disclosed herein are methods for swing training that may include: providing a swing training assembly that may include: a frame that may include: a first frame portion disposed on a first plane, wherein the first plane has a front side and a rear side; a second frame portion that is coplanar with the first frame portion; a third frame portion coupled to the first frame portion and the second frame portion; and a fourth frame portion disposed adjacent to the rear side of the first plane, the fourth frame portion having a U-shape portion; and a band extending at least from the first frame portion to the second frame portion; swinging a human arm laterally against the band; and disposing a portion of the human arm within the U-shape portion.
