An exercising device includes a base placed on a plane, a cover pivotally connected with the base, and an exercise apparatus mounted between the base and the cover. The cover has a side pivotally mounted on a side of the base. The cover is pivoted relative to the base to open or close a top face of the base. The exercise apparatus includes a leg working unit mounted on the base. Thus, the exercising device is stored easily and conveniently and is adapted to function as furniture. The exercising device also has a dustproof function.
FITNESS SYSTEM, FITNESS ASSEMBLY ARRANGEMENT AND FUNCTIONAL FITNESS ELEMENTS
A suspension training based functional fitness element (11, 31) comprising: an essentially planar element (22) having an upper edge, a lower edge and two side edges, said planar element (22) being designed to form a pivotable connection to a support element (32) along said upper edge of the planar element (22), a first elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a first connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), a second elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a second connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), and a first and second handle (24), said first and second handle (24) being connected to said first and second elongated elements (23) respectively, whereby that said first and second connection points are arranged such that there is a horizontal offset between the first and second connection points and such that there is a vertical offset between the first connection point and the pivotable connection and a vertical offset between the second connection point and the pivotable connection.
MOTORIZED ASSIST SYSTEM FOR WHEELCHAIR EXERCISE APPARATUS
Motorized assist systems are provided which are operable to assist in initiating and ceasing the rotation of rollers of wheelchair treadmill systems, and to provide resistance to user-applied forces to facilitate effective exercise. In some embodiments, the motorized assist system includes a driving motor mechanically connected to one or more rollers of a wheelchair treadmill and a sensor. The sensor is configured to detect a rotational force or a rotational velocity of the roller(s) of the wheelchair treadmill. The driving motor is configured to exert a driving force on the roller in response to a detected rotational force on the roller or in response to a detected rotational velocity of the roller.
Apparatus and method for optimizing a person's muscle group performance thru modulating active muscle groups exertion rate and oxygen quantum
A system and method for optimizing a person's muscle group performance thru modulating the arm, leg, and core muscle exertion rate based upon the exerciser's metabolic and geographic data. The system uses real-time measurement gathering and storing of physiologic parameters from humans during physical exercise activity and the geographic data of the exercise activity to determine information for optimizing the exerciser's physical exercise performance of the basic working muscle groups in the rider's arms, legs, and core. The system broadcasts to exercisers information including, but are not limited to: a) the current condition of their monitored muscle tissue, b) which muscle groups the riders should modulate and change their level of energy output during the exercise activity, and c) level of energy exertion at which riders should be employing at that moment in the relevant working muscle groups to optimize their physical exercise performance.
Upper limb rehabilitation training system in two-person standing type and application method thereof
An upper limb rehabilitation training system in two-person standing type and an application method thereof are provided. The upper limb rehabilitation training system includes an upper limb rehabilitation training platform, two weight-reducing suspending support structures arranged oppositely, and two standing frames arranged oppositely; the upper limb rehabilitation training platform includes an all-in-one computer which includes a computer and a touch display screen, and a periphery of the touch display screen is provided with a grating structure; the upper limb rehabilitation training platform is provided with a two-person interactive upper limb training module including two control handles, a virtual training prop and a virtual training scene. The two control handles are suspended from the two weight-reducing suspending support structures, respectively; the grating structure is configured to identify the control handles and positions thereof. The computer controls the two control handles to perform game interaction with the virtual training prop.
Rehabilitation machine and apparatus
An apparatus for providing therapeutic rehabilitation exercise to bedridden individuals and patients, including comatose individuals. A vertical support column extends upwards from a base, with one or more arms extend from the vertical support column, each providing a rotary mechanism at the distal end, with pedals or handles attached thereto. The individual's feet or hands are secured to the pedals or handles, respectively. Straps, brackets, or other fastening means may be used to secure the feet and hands. An electric motor causes the rotary mechanism to move the pedals or handles in a rotary fashion, thereby providing movement and exercise for the individual's legs and arms.
RE-CONFIGURABLE MULTI-PURPOSE EXERCISE DEVICE
The present invention extends to a re-configurable multi-purpose exercise device. In general, aspects include a re-configurable multi-purpose exercise device that can be configured as an abdominal roller, a pair of pushup stands, or a jump rope. Some aspects include a first roller and a second roller that can attach to one another by mating extending members formed on each respective roller with slots formed on each respective roller. A first handle and a second handle can attach to one or another of the respective rollers by either attaching to the extending members on the rollers or inserting through a hole formed in the rollers. A rope can connect on each end to the first handle and the second handle to form a jump rope. Additionally, some aspects include a two-piece cavity configured for storing the rope.
ELECTRORHEOLOGICAL FLUID AND ELECTRIC DEVICE
An electrorheological fluid which comprises a dispersion medium containing fluorine atoms in an amount larger than 0 wt % but not larger than 50.0 wt % and particles for electrorheological fluid use that are contained in the dispersion medium in an amount of 10-50 vol % of the total volume of the dispersion medium and the particles, the particles comprising a sulfonic-acid-group-containing polymer having a sulfonic acid group content of 30-70 wt %.
Exercise Machine Resistance Adjustment System
An exercise machine resistance adjustment system for providing an exerciser the ability to immediately adjust the resistance force by changing their body position on the movable carriage or end platforms. The exercise machine resistance adjustment system generally includes a frame, a carriage movably positioned on the frame, a spring connected to the carriage to apply a biasing force to the carriage, one or more left projections within the carriage adapted for a left hand of an exerciser to grasp, and one or more right projections within the carriage adapted for a right hand of an exerciser to grasp. The exerciser is able to efficiently adjust the amount of resistance force applied to the carriage by repositioning their hands (or feet) from a first set of projections at a first distance to a second set of projections at a second distance from the first end of the exercise machine.
