RESTRAINT HARNESS ATTACHED TO A MAIN SUPPORT STRUCTURE OF A VEHICLE
A restraint harness for a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle includes a seat having a structural support that is attached to a main support structure of the vehicle. The restraint harness includes a body constructed of a restraint material. The body is shaped to secure an occupant body. The restraint material is configured to withstand loads exerted upon the restraint harness by the occupant during operation of the vehicle. The restraint harness also includes an attachment portion that is configured to attach to the structural support of the seat.
WEBBING DESIGN THAT INDICATES THE TIGHTNESS LEVEL IN CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND CARGO MOUNT
The present invention is comprised of a color changing device in the form of film or fabric that can be either integrated with a vehicle seatbelt or an add-on device that can be easily attached to the seatbelt. The color changing device will change its color when experiencing external stress. Different colors will indicate different external load applied to the seatbelt, which is used to determine if the seatbelt is properly tightened to secure a CRS. The invention can also be integrated into cargo mounting webbing to indicate webbing tightness used for securing and transporting cargo on trucks or other vehicles.
child safety restraint system
The child safety restraint system comprises a seat main part which is a segmented inflatable airbag seat including a cushion-backrest integrated part in the middle and armrest-head guard integrated parts on two sides, wherein the cushion-backrest integrated part is formed by wrapping a cushion-backrest integrated airbag with a cushion-backrest integrated fabric, and the armrest-head guard integrated parts are formed by wrapping armrest-head guard integrated airbags with armrest-head guard integrated fabrics; head guard segments of the armrest-head guard integrated parts are able to shield against glass fragments splashed into a car when window glass is hit laterally; the cushion-backrest integrated part and the armrest-head guard integrated parts are provided with inflation-deflation valves; and car safety-belt fasteners are arranged between armrest segments and the head guard segments of the armrest-head guard integrated parts. A safety seat comprises a shoulder-type elliptical annular front protection body.
Web adjuster
Web adjusters and other web connecting devices for use with restraint systems are described herein. In some embodiments, web adjusters, such as tilt-lock web adjusters, can include web gripping features on an edge portion of a web aperture to prevent a web that is joined to the web adjuster from sliding or otherwise moving to one side of the web aperture or the other when the web is pulled in a direction that is not perpendicular to the edge. In some embodiments, the web gripping features can include alternating recessed and raised edge portions.
Safety belt automatic adjustment apparatus and child safety seat therewith
A safety belt automatic adjustment apparatus includes a safety belt buckle fastening assembly, a safety belt retractor and a linking component. The safety belt buckle fastening assembly is rotatably connected to a seat body of a child safety seat and for connecting with a safety belt buckle. The safety belt retractor is used for retracting a safety belt, and the safety belt retractor includes a restraining assembly for restraining a movement of the safety belt in a predetermined direction. The linking component is installed between the safety belt buckle fastening assembly and the safety belt retractor, and the safety belt buckle fastening assembly rotates to drive the linking component and the restraining assembly, so as to restrain or release the safety belt winding around the safety belt retractor. The safety belt automatic adjustment apparatus has advantages of automatic adjustment for the safety belt, simple structure, convenient operation and enhanced safety.
Apparatus and Method for Assisted Buckle Release
An apparatus and method for assisted buckle release employing a generally C-shaped or U-shaped assistive device adapted to depress a buckle's release button, such as a button typical of a child car seat restraint harness, and thereby assist in unlocking the buckle.
PORTABLE HI-BACK CAR SEAT/RESTRAINT SYSTEM/SEAT PAD ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
A hi-back vehicle seat and seat pad restraint system includes a vehicle seat assembly having a vehicle seat back and a vehicle seat operatively connected to the vehicle seat back, a hi-back vehicle seat assembly operatively connected to the vehicle seat assembly, a vehicle safety belt assembly operatively connected to the vehicle seat assembly, wherein the vehicle safety belt assembly interacts with the hi-back vehicle seat assembly, a seat pad assembly located on the vehicle and attached to the vehicle seat assembly. Furthermore, the hi-back vehicle seat assembly can be equipped with a five (5) point harness. Also, the seat pad assembly can be equipped with a seat pad assembly restraining shoulder strap and a restraining shoulder strap connector to keep the shoulder portion of vehicle seat belts correctly positioned over the torso of the end user.
Carseat Adjustment Strap Sensor
The present invention discloses a seatbelt strap sensor for automobiles. The seatbelt strap sensor could detachably fasten to a strap of a seatbelt of the automobile. The strap sensor comprises a plurality of LEDs disposed within a housing, and a pressure sensor and a bracket are disposed on the rear surface of the housing. The pressure sensor is positioned against the body of a child and configured to measure the tightness of the strap of a seatbelt. The bracket has capable to tightly hold the strap sensor to the strap of the seatbelt. The LEDs are configured to illuminate different colors for indicating the tightness of the strap based on the output of the pressure sensor. The housing having indications with letters or words and symbols corresponding to the LEDs. It helps users to determine the tightness of the strap and could be adjusted optimally.
SEAT HARNESS SYSTEM
A seat harness system having a harness plate lockable to a seat to form a five-point harness system for the seat. The harness plate is operatively associated with harness strapping, which is associated with a harness positioning system, which in turn is associated with an actuator to form a singular system that requires only a single action to release all five-points harness system by way of the actuator and the harness positioning system.
