LOCKING HARNESS
A retainer apparatus including a first retainer portion, a second retainer portion, and a sensor comprising a motion detector and an alarm. The retainer apparatus includes the first retainer portion configured to be slidably attached to a first harness strap and a second retainer portion configured to be slidably attached to a second harness strap. The first retainer portion is removably attached to the second retainer portion. The motion detector is configured to detect movement of the retainer apparatus and activate the alarm to alert a user in a vehicle if movement of the retainer apparatus is detected.
INSERT FOR A CHILD SAFETY SEAT
An insert for repositioning at least one of the harness straps of a child safety seat in order to accommodate an occupant smaller than the harness is configured to accommodate, wherein the insert is adapted to locate between the child safety seat and the occupant and includes a pair of waist strap guides, each waist strap guide configured to allow a waist strap of the harness to extend through and exit the waist strap guide at a position narrower than where the waist strap exits the child safety seat.
WEBBING ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
A webbing adjustment device has a cover, a frame, a slider, and a guiding ring member. The frame is up and down moveably disposed in the cover. The slider is located in the cover, is moveably disposed in a body of the frame, and has a through slot formed through the slider. Webbing inserted through the through slot is locked or unlocked by a relative motion between the frame and the slider. The guiding ring member is detachably disposed on the cover, and has a guiding ring and a positioning element connected to the guiding ring. The webbing is inserted through the guiding ring. The cover is detachably hung on the guiding ring. The webbing adjustment device can lock the webbing automatically by the tension of the webbing.
Child-restraint harness
A child-restraint harness is coupled to a juvenile vehicle seat and arranged to restrain a child seat in the juvenile vehicle seat. The child-restraint harness includes first and second shoulder straps.
ADJUSTABLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a restraint system for use in a vehicle with a seat belt system, including a plurality of straps that can be adjusted to conform to the changing dimensions in a wearer and to fit a variety of wearers. The restraint system includes multiple security members that facilitate attaching different kinds of seat belts to different locations on the restraint system. Thus, the restraint system can be used to secure its wearer to a variety of different seat belt systems in a variety of different vehicles.
Child Safety Seat Compatible Apparel System
An apparel system including a base layer component and a vest component that safely may be worn by a child in a child safety seat with a five-point harness (including convertible, combination, and forward facing with a harness). This may provide warmth for the child while transitioning from indoors to the vehicle and while traveling in the car. This apparel system also may provide protection from the elements should the child be involved in a vehicle accident. The apparel system may include a vest component, such as with a hood, that may be worn over the base layer, such as a jacket, to provide added warmth for outdoor activities. In embodiments, the vest component may not be intended to be worn, and in embodiments should not be worn, while the child is in the child safety seat. This system may be safe, versatile, and convenient.
CAR SEAT SWADDLE BLANKET SYSTEM
A car seat swaddle blanket system includes blanket having a body including a front-surface, a back-surface, an aperture, and a periphery comprising a first-edge, a second-edge, a third-edge, and a fourth-edge. The aperture exposes buckle fasteners and any clips on a car seat. The car seat swaddle blanket system may be removeably used for wrapping a baby in the car seat and allowing access to all of the buckle fasteners of the car seat via the aperture.
Locking harness
A retainer apparatus including a first retainer portion, a second retainer portion, a transceiver, and a sensor comprising a motion detector. The retainer apparatus includes the first retainer portion configured to be slidably attached to a first harness strap and a second retainer portion configured to be slidably attached to a second harness strap. The first retainer portion is removably attached to the second retainer portion. The motion detector is configured to detect movement of the retainer apparatus and transmit a warning signal, via the transceiver, to a controller within a vehicle comprising the retainer apparatus to alert a user in the vehicle if the movement is detected.
Sensor device and device for checking the operational condition of a harness of a safety seat
A device for controlling the correct operating state of a restraining harness, intended for a safety seat, including at least one retaining strap that is under tension when the harness is in the state of restraining the occupant, the device being intended to be disposed in a predefined area of the latter, the device including: at least one sensor device including an elongate flexible element that is suitable for being positioned on the strap, and in particular rigidly connected thereto in the predefined area, and that is provided with a measuring system to measure, in the predefined area, at least a level of bending and/or tilting of the strap, a device to collect values linked to the level of bending and/or tilting, and internal or external device configured to analyze the values and of communicating with a receiver for receiving information on the operating state of the retaining harness.
