Locking tongue
A seat belt restraint system locking tongue (10) having a locking member (30) which moves to a locked position to clamp a webbing (3) inserted in a shoulder-side webbing insertion slot (12) to restrict movement of the webbing (3). A tongue body (11) includes a restricting portion (25) near the shoulder-side webbing insertion slot (12) to clamp the webbing (3) with the locking member (30) when the locking member (3) moves to the locked position. The length in the longitudinal direction of the webbing insertion slot (12), of a portion of the restricting portion (25) that contacts the webbing (3) to clamp the webbing (3) is smaller than the width of the webbing (3). The locking tongue prevents fraying of the webbing (3) and improves the clamping performance in the event of a vehicle crash.
Webbing device
In a seatbelt device, at a time of an emergency of a vehicle, gas is supplied into a tube, and gas within the tube is supplied into a chest bag of a bag, and the chest bag is inflated and expanded. Here, at a time when gas is supplied into the tube, due to the tube being inflated between a webbing and a lower side peripheral surface of an insert-through hole of a tongue, a transverse direction other side portion of the bag is crushed by the tube, and gas that is within the chest bag passing via the transverse direction other side portion of the bag into a waist bag of the bag is limited. Therefore, the chest bag can be inflated and expanded at an early stage.
PORTABLE FASTENING DEVICE FOR SAFETY BELT OF CAR
A portable fastening device for a safety belt of a car, according to the disclosure, includes a case formed in the shape of a V and having opening parts respectively formed to be separate from each other in both ends of the V-shaped case such that the fastening clips of seat belts are inserted thereinto, one pair of fastening parts respectively provided to the inner space of a portion, which is inclined in the shape of V in the case, so as to be fastened to the fastening clips of the safety belts, which are inserted through the opening parts, and release parts mounted on upper end portions of the inner space of the case so as to operate such that the fastening clips of the safety belts, which are fastened to the fastening parts, are released.
TACTICAL-GEAR-ACCOMMODATING SEATBELT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tactical-gear-accommodating seatbelt system and method adapted to provide enhanced safety and easier, more reliable means of engaging and disengaging the seatbelt for persons wearing tactical gear on the waist and chest, by providing an extender unit having an extender strap coupled with and extending from the standard seat-level receptacle or anchored in lieu of the standard seat-level receptacle, and a sure-release receptacle attached to the free end of the extender strap such that the double receptacle sits generally in front of the lower torso in use, and having receptacle fittings to accommodate separate lap and shoulder straps anchored at lower and upper anchor points, respectively, with free ends terminated in buckle tabs, thereby allowing easier and safer engagement and disengagement of the seatbelt system for a person wearing tactical gear.
ERGONOMIC SAFETY BELT LATCH PLATE
A latch plate for a vehicle safety belt includes a latch plate tongue element and a grip element. The grip element includes a gripping portion that is held on a plane that is offset from a plane defined by the latch plate tongue element. The gripping portion plane may be parallel to the plane defined by the latch plate tongue element. The gripping portion may be held at a plane defining an included angle to a plane defined by an associated safety belt webbing element when the latch plate tongue element is secured to a safety belt buckle element.
VEHICLE WITH ADJUSTABLE SEATS AND SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES
A vehicle includes a frame; a plurality of ground engaging members; a motor; and at least one seat connected to the frame and being translatable between at least a forward position and a rearward position. The seat includes a seat body defining a belt aperture and a buckle aperture; and a seat belt assembly connected to the frame and including a seat belt extending through the belt aperture and having an end connected to the frame, a male buckle connector slidably connected to the seat belt, and a female buckle receptacle for receiving the male buckle connector, the female buckle receptacle extending through the buckle aperture and having an end connected to the frame, the seat belt assembly being operable with the seat when the seat is in at least both of the forward position and the rearward position.
Seatbelt device and detection method
A seatbelt device for a motor vehicle, including: a diagonal belt portion and a lap belt portion, each of which is connected to a seatbelt retractor that can be fixedly secured to the vehicle, a seatbelt buckle that can be fixedly secured to the vehicle, and a seatbelt tongue that can be locked to the seatbelt buckle. One end of the lap belt portion is secured to the seatbelt tongue, and one end of the diagonal belt portion is secured to a fitting, the fitting being rotatably connected to the seatbelt tongue. At least one sensor is provided and designed to detect the rotational angular position of the fitting with respect to the seatbelt tongue and/or the seatbelt buckle. The invention further relates to a corresponding method.
Link locking device of seat for vehicle
A link locking device of a vehicle seat is configured to prevent a force exerted on a seat belt from causing the rotation of a height link through a buckle. The device includes a sector gear unit rotatably fastened to a cushion frame and fastened to a link connection unit, to which a height link provided in a seat rail is rotatably coupled, to rotate together and a locking unit rotatably coupled to the cushion frame and fastened to a buckle of a seat belt to engage the sector gear unit and block the rotation of the link connection unit when the buckle is pulled. In this configuration, when the buckle is pulled, the locking unit engages the sector gear unit to restrain the link connection unit from rotating to prevent the rotation of the height link, thereby having the effect of preventing the distortion of the seat cushion.
CARGO BLIND END CAP ASSEMBLY IN A VEHICLE
A cargo blind end cap assembly of a vehicle comprises an end cap to receive a cargo blind bar and a seat belt retainer to retain and release a seat belt tongue. The seat belt retainer is coupled to the end cap.
