A portable sit-stand elliptical exercise machine includes a seat, a transmission wheel installed at the seat, two linkage mechanisms installed at the transmission wheel, and two mobile pedals respectively installed at the linkage mechanisms. Each linkage mechanism includes a driving portion connected to the transmission wheel, an axle portion disposed at one side away from the transmission wheel, and an adjustment portion disposed between the axle portion and the driving portion. Each mobile pedal is pivotally connected to the axle portion and includes a plurality of assembly portions. Thus, an angle is formed between each mobile pedal assembled to one of the assembly portions and the linkage mechanism to facilitate a user to utilize the portable sit-stand elliptical exercise machine in either a sitting or standing posture, thereby solving issue of a conventional solution that cannot be applied for a dual use of both sitting and standing postures.

LATERAL GLIDE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISE APPARATUS

A variable stride exercise apparatus may provide a novel linkage assembly and corresponding exercise apparatus suitable for linking circular motion to relatively more complex, generally elliptical motion. Left and right cranks are rotatably mounted on a frame. A foot supporting linkage is movably connected between a rocker and the left and right cranks in such a manner that may provide a variable paths of motion controlled by a user of the apparatus.

EXERCISE BENCH WITH ENHANCEMENTS THAT ALLOW THE OBESE, ELDERLY, AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED TO PARTICIPATE IN EXERCISES PERFORMED ON A CONVENTIONAL EXERCISE BENCH
20170259109 · 2017-09-14 ·

An exercise bench that allows elderly, obese, and physically challenged individuals to participate in the same exercise regimens as younger, more agile athletes is provided. The exercise bench of the current invention comprises cushioned side supports that stabilize the individual during reclining and during exercise. Due to the nature of the exercises performed in the prone position, an exercise bench is generally narrow in order to allow freedom of movement for the Individual's arms. The narrow bench can provide stability challenges for elderly and obese individuals which the side support cushions address by providing the required stability without interfering with the individual's range of arm motion for exercising. The present invention also includes mechanical means to assist the user in reclining to a prone position, and returning to an upright sitting position. Many individuals who want to use a conventional exercise bench are prohibited from doing so because they lack the abdominal strength to lie down slowly from a sitting position, and return to a sitting position after exercising without assistance. The exercise bench of the current invention overcomes these obstacles.

Exercise Machine With Adjustable Handles

An exercise machine with adjustable handles that provide for multiple handle positions. The exercise machine with adjustable handles generally includes a frame with one or more rails, a carriage movably positioned upon the rails, and a pair of adjustable handles positioned near an end of the frame. The adjustable handles each have a handle portion that is movably connected to a corresponding handle stanchion to pivot from a storage position to an extended position.

Elliptical exercise device with cam drive
09757613 · 2017-09-12 · ·

An elliptical exercise device has a frame and guide link pivotally attached thereto. A foot support link is pivotally connected to a lower attachment point of each guide link so that when the guide links pivot relative to the frame, foot receiving areas of the foot support links move in a path of travel having a horizontal component of motion. A cam drive has cams supported for rotation about an axis of rotation and pivoting arms each engaging one of the cams such that rotation of the cams causes movement of the pivoting arms. Flexible elements couple the foot support links to the pivoting arms such that rotation of the cams moves the foot receiving areas of the respective foot support links in a path of travel having a vertical component of motion.

Exercise machine

Described herein are embodiments of stationary exercise machines having reciprocating foot and/or hand members, such as foot pedals that move in a closed loop path. Some embodiments can include reciprocating foot pedals that cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. Some embodiments can further include reciprocating handles that are configured to move in coordination with the foot via a linkage to a crank wheel also coupled to the foot pedals. Variable resistance can be provided via a rotating air-resistance based mechanism, via a magnetism based mechanism, and/or via other mechanisms, one or more of which can be rapidly adjustable while the user is using the machine.

Exercise bicycle with a desk plate
11191352 · 2021-12-07 · ·

The present disclosure discloses an exercise bicycle with a desk plate, which comprises a frame, a supporting foot, a seat and a desk plate, the frame including a first upright column to support the desk plate and a second upright column to support the seat, wherein a first lifting assembly is provided on the first upright column to connect the desk plate and the first upright column, and enables the adjustment of the upper and lower positions of the desk plate relative to the first upright column. The height of the desk plate can be adjusted by the first lifting assembly to accommodate users with different figures. It's more ergonomic since the height of the upright column supporting the desk plate can be adjusted. When packing, lower the upright column to the minimum can largely reduce the size of the package.

Pedal assembly for exercise machine

A stationary exercise machine according to the present disclosure may include a frame, a crankshaft rotatably supported by the frame, first and second lower linkages, and first and second crank arms connected to opposite sides of the crankshaft such that rotation of either of the crank arms causes rotation of the crankshaft. The lower linkages may be operatively connected to the crankshaft and to a respective one of first and second pedals. Each of the lower linkages may include a reciprocating member operatively connecting one of the pedals with one of the crank arms. Each of the lower linkages may include an adjustable linkage connected between the reciprocating member and the respective crank arm, the adjustable linkage may vary a distance between an output end of the reciprocating member and an input end of the crank arm. Each of the pedals may be pivotally connected to the respective reciprocating members.
