EMERGENCY ESCAPE KIT
An emergency escape kit is disclosed. The emergency escape kit includes: an emergency escape punch having an obstacle contact portion configured to be in close contact with an obstacle such as a glass window, and configured to shatter the obstacle by pressurizing a side thereof opposite to the obstacle contact portion located between the obstacle and the side of the emergency escape punch; and a gas mask configured to be couplable to or separable from the emergency escape punch, wherein when the gas mask is coupled to the emergency escape punch, the gas mask shields a portion of the emergency escape punch from an outside of the emergency escape punch, and when gas mask is separated from the emergency escape punch and is brought into close contact with respiratory organ of a user, the gas mask prevents external poisonous gas from flowing into the respiratory organ of the user.
Integrated system releasing in emergency persons trapped in a vehicle, a method implementing this system, and a method of mounting an actuator opening the vehicle door
An integrated system (PARIS) for releasing the persons trapped in a vehicle comprises a central processing unit (CPU), the input of which is connected to sensors (D1, D2, . . . Dn), and the output of which is connected to at least three executive systems activated in a sequence: a system of automatic opening of the locks and the door bolts and blocking them in open position (LOB), a system of automatic deflecting the doors and locking them in open position (DOB), and a system of automatic cutting of the seat belts (SBC). A method for releasing the persons trapped in the vehicle performed by the system PARIS consists in that when it receives from the sensors (D1, D2, . . . Dn) signals indicating an emergency and when the vehicle stops, the CPU sends to a system of automatic opening of the locks and the door bolts and blocking them in open position (LOB) a signal, then sends to a system of automatic deflecting the doors and locking them in open position (DOB) a signal, and then sends to a system of automatic cutting of the seat belts (SBC) a signal.
Wallet
A wallet includes a first shell with one or more openings on a shell perimeter adapted to clip one or more objects to the one or more openings; and a second shell coupled to the first shell, the second shell including a storage compartment; and first and second rails on each side of the second metal shell to slideably receive one or more cards in the storage compartment.
Multi-functional rescue tool with angled blade
A multifunctional rescue tool providing a plurality of tool components including an angled blade to disengage a lock shielded by a blocker plate and wherein the angled blade has a base portion and an integral elongate distal portion forming an angle along a contiguous planar surface that is preferably substantially perpendicular and is pivotally coupled to a handle having a corresponding slot configured for receiving the angled blade wherein the elongate distal portion is angled outwardly from the base portion of the angled blade in a preferably perpendicular orientation when the base portion and handle are locked in substantial alignment in an open position, and the angled blade is alternatively engageable to form additional angles to facilitate construction of raker shores while also including various tool components including a window breaker, seat belt cutter, gas shut off, oxygen tank, hexagonal wrenches, as well as, a lanyard, shove knife, and cutting knife in a compact configuration capable of convenient and ready carrying and stowing in a pocket or wearable gear of a firefighter or other first responder.
System for Self-escape from a Safety Harness Having a Plurality of Mounted Web Cutters and Glass Break Tools
A system for self-extrication from a safety harness by the wearer, or during rescue of the wearer, in the event of an emergency including one or more combination cutter and glass break tools mounted onto and around selected portions of the safety harness at predetermined positions for use in cutting the webbing straps of the safety harness in the event of the inoperability of any safety harness release resulting in the severing of the harness at said position and further resulting in the combination tool being freed for use in breaking glass out of a window of a vehicle.
Multi function hand tool in a unitary device
A survival rescue multi-tool device is provided in a single planer body constructed and arranged to have incorporated therewith multiple hand tool configurations and an overall curved ergonomic formation.
Seatbelt mounted combination cutter and glass break tool
A combination seat belt restraint system cutter and glass break tool mounted onto and around the seat belt of an automotive vehicle at a predetermined position for use in cutting the web of the seat belt in the event of a seat belt release latch jam or inoperability resulting in the severing of the seat belt at said position resulting in the tool being freed for use in breaking the glass of a window of the vehicle. The combination tool also being maintained in a fixed position adjacent the safety belt extension/retraction aperture by a strap.
Initiator grounding clip
Assemblies and methods for the electrical grounding of an initiator for a vehicle device, e.g. an inflator. Initiator assemblies are provided for inflators in electrical charge transmitting connection via a connector assembly to an electric ground. Initiator assemblies include integrally molded initiator having a molded base forming a connector socket. The molded base includes a grounding clip recess feature. A metallic electrical grounding clip is housed in the grounding clip recess feature. The grounding clip includes a base portion and an extending portion. The extending portion includes a first end proximate and in contact with the base portion and a second end distal from the base portion and with second end in electrical transferring contact with the vehicle device.
Seatbelt buckle with built-in cutter
A seatbelt buckle with cutter includes a latch element having a tongue-like protrusion with an aperture configured to be received by a belt buckle receiver, a middle element having a pull handle and a serrated cutting blade, a top cover configured for coupling to a top of the latch element a bottom cover configured for coupling to the bottom of the middle element, wherein when the top and bottom covers are coupled to the latch element and middle element, respectively, and the belt extends through the apertures of the patch element, middle element, and top and bottom covers, the blade is configured to cut the belt when the pull handle of the middle element is pulled.
Safety Device
A safety device with a blade for severing a seatbelt during an emergency. The blade is movably affixed to a blade bar of the safety device, such that the blade can slide along a width of the seatbelt to cut through the seatbelt during an emergency. The safety device includes a housing configured to protect an individual from the blade when the safety device is not in use. The safety device is useful for escaping emergencies, such as automobile collisions and the like.
