Utility vehicle
A utility vehicle is provided with a seat frame disposed below a seat for a crew and supporting the seat, the utility vehicle includes: a seatbelt apparatus configured to hold the crew sitting on the seat; in which the seat frame includes a projection projecting outward in a vehicle width direction from the seat and covering a top of a fuel tank, the seatbelt apparatus includes a retractor supporting an end of webbing so as to freely wind the webbing, and the retractor is attached to the projection.
Belt retractor
On a belt retractor (10) for a vehicle seat belt comprising a frame (12) provided with plural locking teeth (24), a belt reel (14) which is rotatably supported in the frame (12) and includes a locking tooth system (26) corresponding to the locking teeth (24), and comprising a locking mechanism adapted to transfer the belt reel (14) from a home position in which it is freely rotatable into a locking position in which the locking tooth system (26) of the belt reel (14) engages in the locking teeth (24) of the frame (12), wherein at least one pivoting control lever (28) is provided in which one side of the belt reel (14) is rotatably supported and which is adapted to guide the belt reel (14) from the home position into the locking position, an interlock mechanism is provided which releases the pivoting movement of the control lever (28) not before the latter has been rotated in the unwinding direction (A) of the webbing out of a home position into a release position.
VEHICLE SIDE STRUCTURE
A vehicle side structure includes: a rocker disposed along a vehicle front-rear direction at a lower section of a vehicle side; and a pillar disposed along a vehicle up-down direction at the vehicle side whereby a lower end section of the pillar is joined to the rocker, the pillar including: a pillar inner panel disposed at a vehicle interior inner side, and a pillar outer panel disposed at a vehicle interior outer side of the pillar inner panel, and the pillar having an opening, formed at a lower section of the pillar inner panel, the pillar inner panel having formed therein a reinforcing section including an extended-out section that extends out toward an outer side in a vehicle width direction from an entire periphery of a peripheral edge of the opening, and a lower section of the reinforcing section being joined to an upper section of the rocker.
SEATBELT WEBBING RETRACTOR AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A seatbelt webbing retractor and a method of assembling a seatbelt webbing retractor including a unitary bobbin having a mounting portion, a first and second annular wall extending perpendicularly from a first and second end of the mounting portion, respectively. The mounting portion of the unitary bobbin defines a plurality of slots through which the seatbelt webbing is passed. The seatbelt webbing retractor also includes a spindle extending through the mounting portion of the unitary bobbin and a retractor frame to which the spindle is mounted. The unitary bobbin is rotatable with respect to the retractor frame and an outer surface of the unitary bobbin is configured to be wrapped with the seatbelt webbing.
Sealed locking retractor
A locking retractor includes a frame, a spool shaft rotatably mounted thereto, an outer surface of a base of a housing mounted to the frame with one end of the spool shaft extending into an opening defined through the base, one or more locking components arranged on an inner surface of the housing and configured to cooperate with the spool shaft to selectively block rotation of the spool relative to the frame, a sealing member configured to extend about and engage a periphery of the first opening and to extend about and engage a periphery of the spool shaft to form a seal between the base of the housing and the spool shaft to block ingress of moisture and particles, and a cover hermetically attached to the housing with the locking components sealed between the cover and the base of the housing.
PRETENSIONER, RETRACTOR AND SEAT BELT DEVICE
A pretensioner includes a driving wheel and a power transmission unit. A spool is disposed to be rotatable in the driving wheel. The spool winds a webbing which restrains an occupant. The power transmission unit transmits power to the driving wheel during an emergency. The power transmission unit includes a resin-made long body, a pipe and a gas generator. The resin-made long body rotates the driving wheel. The pipe contains the resin-made long body. The gas generator supplies an operation gas into the pipe. The resin-made long body discharged from the pipe is configured to rotate the driving wheel while the resin-made long body is wound around the driving wheel.
CLOSED-FORM SEATBELT RETRACTOR ASSEMBLY
A closed-form seatbelt retractor assembly includes a package tray having sidewalls that define an interior cavity. An aperture is disposed through at least one of the sidewalls. A bracket is connected to the package tray proximate the aperture to cover at least a portion of the aperture. A seatbelt retractor is secured to an interior surface of the bracket and disposed substantially entirely within the interior cavity.
Belt-retractor housing shell
A belt retractor casing shell having a cup-shaped configuration comprises a front wall (14) as well as a circumferential wall (16) extending from the front wall (14), the front wall (14) including an annular zone (44) weakened vis--vis the radially inside and/or outside adjacent portion around a center (42).
VEHICLE SEAT HAVING RETRACTOR MOUNTED IN SEAT BACK FRAME
A vehicle seat includes: a seat back frame constituting a framework of the vehicle seat; a retractor received in an internal space of the seat back frame; and headrest poles which vertically extend through the retractor and are mounted to the retractor. The retractor may be mounted at an upper end of the seat back frame. By mounting the retractor within the seat back frame, instead of a separate mounting space, the thickness of the seat back in the forward/backward directions may be reduced, thereby thinning the seat and enlarging the passenger compartment.
Structure of rear package tray
A rear package tray structure may include left and right side members oriented vertically from a floor panel, and a tray member to connect upper ends of the side members, in which the tray member and the side members are shaped with empty spaces defined therein extending in longitudinal directions thereof, respectively, and are connected to one another such that the empty spaces fluidly communicate with each other.
