Seatbelt retractor
An engagement-side flange portion, one of a pair of flange portions on the respective axial ends of a webbing-take-up portion of a take-up drum, is positioned to face engagement teeth and includes a projecting portion formed to project radially outward from its peripheral edge that faces a pawl when the pawl moves to reach engagement position with the engagement teeth. Outer peripheral diameter of engagement-side flange portion is smaller than inner peripheral diameter defined with tip ends of engagement teeth. Maximum outer peripheral dimension formed by the projecting portion and engagement-side flange portion is larger than inner peripheral diameter defined with tip ends of engagement teeth. In a state where the take-up drum is attached to a housing, the projecting portion projects radially outward over inner peripheral diameter defined with tip ends of engagement teeth that is located at axially outward side of the projecting portion.
FRAME COMPONENT FOR A BELT WINDER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The invention describes a method of manufacturing a substantially plate-shaped frame member (10) of a belt retractor including locking teeth (18). A plate-shaped element (24) is provided, wherein said element is plastically reshaped in portions so that a portion (28) thickened into a main portion (12) of the plate-shaped element (24) is formed. Furthermore, locking teeth (18) are produced in the thickened portion (28) so that the locking teeth (18) have a larger thickness than the plate-shaped element (24) prior to reshaping. Moreover, a frame member (10) for a belt retractor is described.
MODULAR SEATBELT RETRACTOR
A belt retractor (40) having a belt reel (14), a seat belt (12) which can be wound thereon to form a belt reel, and at least one first assembly, the first assembly being arranged coaxially with the axis of rotation of the belt reel (14) and in series with the belt reel (14). The belt retractor is especially adapted for mounting inside the frame member of a motor vehicle seat.
Dual-web retractor arrangement
A dual-web retractor includes a frame having spaced-apart sidewalls, a spool rotatably mounted between the sidewalls, a pair of engagement members configured to be releasably engaged to one another, and a single web having opposite ends each coupled to a different one of the pair of engagement members and a portion of the single web between the opposite ends affixed to the spool to define a first web section extending from one end of the frame between the spool and one of the pair of engagement members and a second web section extending from an opposite end of the frame between the spool and the other of the pair of engagement members. Rotation of the spool in a web take up direction alternatingly wraps the web sections onto the spool and rotation of the spool in a web pay out direction alternatingly unwraps the web sections from the spool.
BELT SHAFT HOUSING, BELT SHAFT, BELT TENSIONER, AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING A BELT TENSIONER
A belt shaft housing (40) for a belt shaft of a seatbelt system comprises a shaft holder (42) for holding the belt shaft, a securing component (48) including a retaining portion (88), and at least one fixing element (74) that is configured to fasten the belt shaft within the shaft holder (42). The securing component (48) is fastened to the shaft holder (42) such that it can adopt an assembly position and a securing position, wherein the fixing element (74) is released in the assembly position and is secured to the shaft holder (42) in the securing position. Further, a belt shaft including a webbing, a belt pin and a sleeve-shaped axle is provided. There is moreover provided a belt tensioner, especially an end fitting tensioner, comprising such belt shaft housing (40) and such belt shaft as well as a method for assembling such belt tensioner.
SAFETY BELT RETRACTOR AND SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a safety belt retractor, including a bracket, a spool (1), a locking device (10), a vehicle sensing device (20) and a vehicle sensing suppression device (30), wherein the vehicle sensing suppression device includes a driven part (8) and a suppression part (7). The driven part can be driven by the spool. The suppression part can be held on the driven part by an adhesive force, wherein the driven part has a sliding track, and the suppression part has a sliding portion that can slide on the sliding track against the adhesive force. The suppression part can be limited in a first end position, in which it can suppress the vehicle sensing function of the vehicle sensing device, and it can release the vehicle sensing function of the vehicle sensing device when leaving away from the first end position. Here, the mechanism for achieving the function of suppressing the vehicle sensing noise is simple in structure and low in cost, and can effectively reduce the vehicle sensing noise. The present invention further relates to a safety belt assembly including such a safety belt retractor.
VEHICLE BODY REAR STRUCTURE
A vehicle body rear structure includes: a rear wheel house; a rear cross member located on a vehicle width direction inner side of a lower portion of the rear wheel house and extending in a vehicle width direction; a pillar extending upward from an upper portion of the rear wheel house; a wheel house reinforcing member extending along the rear wheel house and connecting between the rear cross member and the pillar; a retractor functioning as a seat belt winding device; and a bracket configured to fix the retractor to a vehicle body. The bracket has one end portion connected to the wheel house reinforcing member. The bracket has another portion extending from the one end portion in the vehicle forward direction or in the vehicle rearward direction and connected to the rear wheel house.
VEHICLE SEAT STRUCTURE
A space for installing a seat mechanism can be reduced as compared with a prior art when a seatback is supported by support members. A rear panel is provided upright to partition an inside and an outside of a vehicle cabin. A seat support body includes support columns that are fixtures and seat crosses that are support members. The support columns are fixed to a rear panel. The seat crosses are supported by the rear panel with a gap therebetween via the support columns. Each seatback is supported on a back face thereof by the seat crosses. A belt path through which a webbing extends from a retractor to a shoulder anchor is formed in the gap between the seat crosses and the rear panel.
Belt tightener
