The mounting apparatus further includes a second elongate support member having a first end and a second end meeting the first end of the first elongate support member at a first vertex. The mounting apparatus further includes a third elongate support member having a first end and a second end meeting the first end of the first elongate support member at a second vertex.

System, method and apparatus for rehabilitation and exercise with multi-configurable accessories

A system, method and apparatus for exercise and rehabilitation includes a frame coupled to a base and having a top end. An arm having a proximal end can be coupled to the top end of the frame. A distal end of the arm is opposite the proximal end. The arm is movable in a first degree of freedom between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the frame. Handles are coupled to the arm adjacent the distal end and movable in a second degree of freedom relative to the arm. The handles are manipulated by a user for exercise and rehabilitation.

An indoor, stationary, bicycle training device that provides advantages over conventional designs of exercise bicycles is provided. The stationary bicycle may include a tilting/pivoting mechanism to orient the indoor bicycle to simulate descending or climbing. The indoor bicycle may include flexible and resilient frame elements to support the indoor training device to move side-to-side under some riding situations thereby simulating the side-to-side swaying motion of an outdoor bicycle under the same riding situations. The indoor bicycle may include several combinations of frame adjustments to provide configurable dimensions of the indoor bicycle to adjust the frame to properly fit the rider, which may be adjusted based on corresponding dimensions of a user’s outdoor bicycle. Still other aspects of the stationary bicycle device may aid in creating an “outdoor” feeling while using the device.

Tilting exercise machine

The present invention relates to the field of fitness training devices and exercise machines. More specifically, a substantially horizontal exercise machine comprising an exercise platform slidable along one or more rails aligned with the longitudinal axis of the machine structure, the slidable platform spring-biased towards one end of the machine, is tiltable to allow for one end of the machine to be raised or lowered relative to the opposed end of the machine.

Exercise machine carriage handle system

An exercise machine carriage handle system for providing handles for an exerciser to grasp with their hands thereby expanding the type of exercises that may be performed. The exercise machine carriage handle system generally includes a frame having a track, a carriage movably connected to the track, a bias member connected between the frame and the carriage, a first handle connected to the carriage near the first side, and a second handle connected to the carriage near the second side. The first handle and second handle are adapted for grasping with a first hand and a second hand respectively of a user during the performance of an exercise on the exercise machine.

BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT USING VIRTUAL OBJECTS AND GAMIFICATION
20230218856 · 2023-07-13 ·

A system and method for brainwave entrainment using virtual objects and gamification, in which brainwave entrainment is applied using some combination of gaming elements, brainwave is enhanced by virtue of the user’s active participation, and long-term use is encouraged by virtue of the entertaining nature of the gamification. Depending on configuration, the system and method may comprise a display comprising virtual objects, a light-producing device (other than the display), an audio-producing device such as speakers or headphones, a haptic feedback device such as a vibratory motor, a means for monitoring the user’s attention, and a software application which applies brainwave entrainment using some combination of the display, the light-producing device, the audio-producing device, and the haptic feedback device.

DAP System Control and Related Devices and Methods

A method for controlling a DAP system is provided that includes calculating a user seal interface height based on an estimated user height, and based thereon determining an attachment carriage height and a usage carriage height different than the user seal interface height. The method also includes driving powered vertical lifts to raise each carriage to an attachment position at the attachment carriage height while the user is in the DAP system through the top opening including raising about the user the seal frame attached to the carriages and thereby raising the top opening attached to the seal frame, and also controlling the lifts to retain the attachment position during user seal attachment and confirming the attachment. Responsive to confirming, the method includes driving the lifts to move each carriage to a usage position at the usage carriage height and inflating the enclosure to an unweighting.

A stationary exercise machine comprising an ergonomic device attached to a trolley slidably connected to an inclinable surface. The trolley connected to one or more resistance mechanisms generally opposing one another or gravity. The ergonomic device comprised of a balance board, seat, carriage, bike, or other apparatus intended to carry a user. A method where the user pumps, moving one's body weight in a rhythmic up-and-down, back-and-forth motion, to repetitively move the ergonomic device along the inclinable surface while standing, squatting, kneeling, sitting, laying, or otherwise resting, balancing, or riding on the ergonomic device, and where at least one resistance mechanism stores and releases mechanical energy produced by the user's pumping action. The resistance mechanisms can also be connected or disconnected, or user-controlled or automated to facilitate alternative methods of use, such as use as a balance board, rower, reformer, gravity-based exerciser, elastic resistance trainer, or flywheel resistance trainer.
