Musculature exerciser and method
A fixed musculature exerciser adapted for a specific cardiovascular training exercise such as a rowing motion includes a plurality of spaced apart support legs including laterally and outwardly extending sponsons acting as stabilization feet. A resilient resistance band can be conveniently and removably secured at both ends between a pair of linearly opposed, spaced apart anchorments secured to the distal end sections of a pair of adjacent sponsons. One end of the resistance band can be detached and the band used for strength training. Additional resistance bands can be similarly secured between other pairs of anchorments on separated sponsons.

A method for controlling a control interface of an exercise machine during the enjoy of a multimedia content includes providing a multimedia content of a personal trainer preparatory to performing a set workout program on the exercise machine, usable through the control interface; associating configuration instructions of the exercise machine with the multimedia content readable by a data processing unit of the exercise machine, synchronized with playing of the multimedia content; during the enjoy of the multimedia content, if a playing time instant falls within a set time interval provided by the configuration instructions, dynamically modifying the control interface of the exercise machine so that it assumes a respective operating configuration corresponding to the set time interval reached by the multimedia content, in the respective operating configuration, showing the user on a display module, temporary controls usable through the control interface; and setting the exercise machine based on the temporary controls.
ELECTRIC MOTOR BASED PHYSICAL TRAINING TECHNOLOGY AND DEVICES
Techniques for strength training using an exercise system including an electric linear motor. The exercise system includes a stand, including the electric linear motor comprising a mover and a rotor, and a user interface. The exercise system further includes an exercise attachment coupled to the mover in the electric linear motor, and a controller configured to control force generated by the electric linear motor, where an amount of force required to move the exercise attachment changes based on the force generated by the electric linear motor, and configured to display information related to moving the exercise attachment.
Reformer carriage drag adjustment apparatus
A reformer includes a generally rectangular frame, a movable carriage mounted on the frame for movement between head end and foot end of the frame, and a plurality of springs biasing the carriage toward the foot end of the frame. The carriage has at least four roller wheels. A carriage drag adjustment device in accordance with the present disclosure generally includes a drag generator configured to apply an opposing force to at least one roller wheel of the wheeled reformer carriage, a mounting assembly fastening the drag generator to the wheeled reformer carriage, and an adjustment mechanism coupled to the drag generator to adjust the amount of drag applied to at least one roller wheel mounted to an underside of the reformer carriage, thereby opposing movement of the wheeled reformer carriage between the head and foot ends of the frame.
Portable exercise device
A portable exercise device provided includes: a base disc, two pulley assemblies, a support plate, and a fan wheel assembly. A support plate is disposed on the base disc, the two pulley assemblies are provided on the base disc, and the fan wheel assembly is provided on the support plate, so that the fan wheel assembly and the two pulley assemblies are vertically arranged on top of each other, thereby reducing the overall volume. More preferably, because the volume is reduced, the user can arbitrarily move and hang the portable exercise device at the desired position, and because the portable exercise device of the invention can be hung at different positions, which allows the user to train different muscles according to the different positions.
SIMULATED ROWING MACHINE
The present disclosure relates to a simulated rowing machine, including a front moving assembly, a rear moving assembly, a track and a linkage; both the front and the rear moving assemblies are movably connected to the track; the linkage is a closed loop tensioned as two linear moving paths at both ends by a transmission wheel, the closed loop is substantially parallel to the track and includes a first and a second moving paths, respectively; the front and the rear moving assemblies are fixedly connected to the first and the second moving paths, respectively, and the front and the rear moving assemblies are driven in opposite directions when the linkage rotates periodically.
Systems and methods for coordinating musculoskeletal and cardiovascular hemodynamics
Described herein are systems and methods for favorably coordinating a timing relationship between a musculoskeletal activity cycle and a cardiac cycle of a user. A method may include repetitively detecting a signal that correlates to a blood volume in the user; determining an actual value of the signal that varies with the timing relationship; computing a trend of the actual value of the signal; and adjusting the movement guidance based on the trend of the actual value. A system may include a prompt device configured to provide recurrently a movement guidance to the user for guiding performance of the rhythmic musculoskeletal activity; a sensor configured to provide a signal that correlates to a blood volume in the user; and a processor configured to determine an actual value of the signal that varies with the timing relationship and to adjust the movement guidance based on the trend of the actual value.
SLIDE STRUCTURE OF EXERCISE MACHINE
A slide structure of an exercise machine comprises a slide seat, configured to be movable along an axial direction relative to a slide rail; a roller, rotatably coupled to the slide seat; a dry-running limit slider, having a bushing seat and a dry-running bushing, the dry-running bushing embracing the slide rail on a vertical plane perpendicular to the axial direction. The slide seat moves on the slide rail along the axial direction through the roller to roll along the axial direction, the dry-running limit slider to slide along the axial direction, and the dry-running limit slider to limit the displacement of the slide seat on the vertical plane.
Fitness equipment cruise control with power reserve
A computer implemented system provides a cruise control function, during a fitness equipment-based workout, to report a power output amount based on a cruise control set-point. The system includes a piece of fitness equipment, a control device, and a computing device. The fitness equipment produces an output corresponding to actual power produced on the fitness equipment. The control device transmits an indication of power being produced to the computing device as an input to a fitness training game. In a first operational state, the indication represents the actual amount of power being produced via operation of the fitness equipment by the user, but in a second operational state, the numerical indication is a virtual power amount corresponding to a cruise control set-point amount established via the control device.
Control Device and Method to Control Difference Between Target and Performance Outputs Using Feedback Loop System and Graphical User Interface
Methods and devices for a feedback loop system, associated with delivery of content related to a software application, are disclosed. A method includes determining, for the content, a difference between a target output and a performance output. The performance output is an aggregate of respective unit outputs for unit(s) of the content. The method includes determining an input value required to re-perform at least one of the units. The re-performance can modify the difference. The input value, based on a probabilistic calculation of possible outcomes of the re-performance, is normalized based on a pre-determined baseline input value. The method includes determining, based on the normalized input value, an adjusted unit output associated with the re-performance. The method includes generating, based on the respective unit outputs and the adjusted unit output, and providing for display on a GUI, a graphical display layout comprising a visual representation of the unit(s).
