EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE
A vehicular exercise system includes an exercise monitoring apparatus configured to communicate with a vehicle including one or more internal structures including at least one seat and a steering wheel. The at least one exercise monitoring apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to detect one or more exercise activities performed at the one or more internal structures and actuate the vehicle based on the one or more detected exercise activities. The processing circuitry is further configured to monitor one or more physiological parameters of the one or more detected exercise activities, determine a recommendation regarding future exercise activities based on the one or more physiological parameters, and output one or more notifications corresponding to the one or more physiological parameters and the determined recommendation.
Controlling an exercise machine using a video workout program
Controlling an exercise machine using a video workout program. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method may include capturing a video, encoding exercise machine control commands into a subtitle stream of the video to create the video workout program, decoding the subtitle stream of the video to access the exercise machine control commands, periodically determining at least that an actual heart rate zone of a user is not equal to a current programmed heart rate zone and that the actual heart rate of the user is not trending toward the current programmed heart rate zone by at least a threshold heart rate trend rate, and in response adaptively scaling the video workout program by adjusting a current difficulty level upward or downward depending on if the actual heart rate zone is lower or higher than the current programmed heart rate zone, respectively.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING CARDIO MACHINE CAPABILITIES BY DYNAMICALLY ADAPTING WORKOUTS TO AN ATHLETE
Systems and methods are described for personalizing a fitness or workout plan based on an athletes past performance. In some aspects, performance metrics from at least two workout sessions performed by a user using exercise equipment, may be obtained, where each workout session includes a plurality of intervals corresponding to one of a number of different intensity levels. The performance metrics over a subset of the intervals may be compared with a prescribed performance of the corresponding interval to generate interval comparisons. Using the interval comparisons, at least one of a length or an intensity level of at least one interval of a future workout session may be modified.
COORDINATING MUSCULOSKELETAL AND CARDIOVASCULAR HEMODYNAMICS
The present invention is generally directed to methods, systems, and computer program products for coordinating musculoskeletal and cardiovascular hemodynamics, and more directly to stationary and non-stationary exercise equipment that include adjustable behaviors and are used with repetitive activities. The equipment is adjusted automatically in real-time to alter the work output, cadence, and/or timing of the user's physical activity in response to their monitored cardiovascular and musculoskeletal signals to achieve and maintain a targeted coordination of their heart and musculoskeletal pump cycle timing.
STATIONARY EXERCISE BICYCLE WITH HORIZONTAL FLYWHEEL
An exercise machine such as a stationary exercise bicycle includes a body supported by the ground; an axle disposed in the body; a first gear disposed on the axle; a driving shaft vertically disposed in the body; a second gear disposed on the driving shaft and meshed the first gear; and a horizontally disposed flywheel disposed in a base of the body. A rotation of the axle rotates the flywheel via the first gear, the second gear, and the driving shaft.
ROWER
A rower includes a main frame, a second frame pivotally connected to the main frame with one end thereof and having a protruding portion, a handlebar provided with a slot that corresponds to the slot in size and has the configuration complementary to the protruding portion, and a first magnetically attractive member and a second magnetically attractive member respectively and fixedly installed in the slot of the handlebar and the protruding portion of the second frame and magnetically attractable to each other. In this way, in the process of bending the second frame, the handlebar is not easy to detach from the second frame, so the user can fold the handlebar relatively conveniently and easily, and can avoid the handlebar from being damaged by accidental falling during the folding process.
AIR-CLEANING FITNESS DEVICE
An air-cleaning fitness device has a main frame, a housing, a driving assembly, a fan device and at least one filter. The housing, the driving assembly and the fan device are mounted on the main frame. The housing has a confined space and an airflow passage. The driving assembly and the fan device are located inside the housing and connect to each other. The fan device has a second inlet and a second outlet. The second inlet and the second outlet are respectively aligned with two ends of the airflow passage. The at least one filter is mounted on the housing and is capable of covering either end of the airflow passage. The driving assembly has at least one driving member which extends out of the housing and drives the fan device. When the user operates the air-cleaning fitness device, the air-cleaning fitness device purifies the air at the same time.
Rowing exercise device and method of using same
A rowing exercise device comprises a support structure; a movable user support movably associated with the support structure for movement relative to the support structure; a movable foot support movably associated with the support structure for movement relative to the support structure; a handle; and a rowing assembly operatively associated with the handle and at least the movable foot support to cause at least the movable foot support to move relative to the support structure with movement of the handle so that both a user s body and one or both feet move relative to the support structure with movement of the handle.
ROWING MACHINE
The present invention concerns an improved rowing machine, for the execution of gymnastic exercises similar to strokes and the like, comprising actuating means movable between a rest position and a working position, and a first braking device, operatively connected to said actuating means configured to brake the motion of said actuating means during the passage from said rest position to said working position, characterized in that said rowing machine comprises a second braking device operatively connected to said actuating means, said second braking device being configured to brake the motion of said actuating means during the passage from said rest position to said working position.
INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCE FEEDBACK FOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A method and device for providing performance feedback to a user during a session of using exercise equipment including measuring user input during the session using at least one sensor to gather sensor data, and transmitting the sensor data to a processing device. The sensor data is evaluated to determine at least one of a force metric, a frequency metric, and an accuracy metric. The at least one of the force metric, the frequency metric and the accuracy metric are compared to at least one predetermined performance goal. Audio and/or visual feedback is provided to the user based on the comparison of the at least one of the force metric, the frequency metric, and the accuracy metric with the at least one predetermined performance goal. The audio feedback includes varying a musical playback in at least one of speed, volume, and pitch.
