Sound output apparatus, sound output control method, vehicle, and locking and unlocking system
A sound output apparatus and a sound output control method including a sound output controller placed in a vehicle having a door lockable and unlockable based on the result of communicated with mobile terminals are disclosed. The vehicle mounted with the sound output controller and a locking and unlocking system including the vehicle are also disclosed. The sound output controller outputs a sound that is different between when the door is unlocked by a specified mobile terminal and when the door is unlocked by other means.
Vehicular headlamp
A vehicular headlamp comprising: a front lens body extending in a predetermined direction; a plurality of optical systems disposed along the predetermined direction behind the front lens body; and a control means, wherein the plurality of optical systems each includes: a rear lens unit disposed behind the front lens body; and a light source which is disposed behind the rear lens unit and emits light which is irradiated forward permeating the rear lens unit and the front lens body in that order to form a light distribution pattern for a headlamp, and the control means individually controls lighting states of the light sources in each of the plurality of optical systems.
Cloud based cognitive radio frequency intrusion detection audit and reporting
An approach is provided that logs radio frequency (RF) activity detected by a vehicle-based intrusion detection system. The logged activity is ingested at a machine learning system. The approach receives, by a conversational agent with access to the machine learning system, natural language (NL) user queries pertaining to the detected RF activity and presents, by the conversational agent, natural language system responses answering the NL user queries.
Remote vehicle system configuration, control, and telematics
A vehicle control system (VCS) includes external communication interfaces, such as a Bluetooth interface, for communicating with a user communication and control device, such as a smart phone or a tablet. The user is enabled to operate certain features of the vehicle, such as the remote start, power locks/trunk, climate control, and security features, through the smart phone. The VCS may also communicate with a remote server via the user's smartphone, for example, providing telematics data and receiving service reminders for display to the user on the smartphone, the VCS, or a display built into the vehicle. The VCS may be custom installed in the vehicle using the user's or the installer's smartphone, without a physical connection from the VCS to the smartphone.
VEHICLE ACCESS AND POWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS VIA MACHINE LEARNING
A method for access to a vehicle includes receiving data from an identification device related to at least one device environment sensor of the identification device. At least one pattern associated with the received data is identified. An environment of the identification device based on feedback from the at least one device environment sensor is determined. The environment to the at least one pattern is compared. In response to the comparing step, access to the vehicle is allowed or denied.
Gateway-Based Anti-Theft Security System and Method
Improved systems and techniques are disclosed for controlling the security states of anti-theft security systems such as product display assemblies using security fobs. The tasks relating to fob authentication are offloaded to a computer system, and these authentications can be based on identifiers for the different security fobs. The computer system can maintain a list of identifiers for authorized security fobs that is easily updated when new security fobs are added to or existing security fobs are de-authorized from the system.
SYSTEMS FOR THE AGGREGATION OF DATA WITH AN ELECTRICALLY MOTORIZED VEHICLE
A system, method, and device for operations of an electrically motorized vehicle. The vehicle can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. One system includes a server in communication with the device of each of a plurality of electrically motorized wheels, the server operable to track a position of each of the electrically motorized wheels and communicate the position thereof to a transportation network.
VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY WITH LIGHT SENSING MODULE
An exterior door handle assembly for a vehicular door includes a base portion and a handle portion. The base portion is configured to mount at an exterior door handle region of the vehicular door and the handle portion is movable relative to the base portion to actuate a door opening latch mechanism. A pocket lighting and sensing module includes at least one LED and at least one light sensor. The LED, when energized, emits light to illuminate a pocket surface at the base portion. With the LED energized to emit light, the light sensor senses the light emitted by the LED and reflected off the pocket surface. Responsive to light sensed by the light sensor with the light emitting diode energized being below a threshold level, the pocket lighting and sensing module determines presence of a person's hand at the handle portion.
Method and apparatus for securely accessing an automobile ignition key
A method, apparatus and a computer-readable medium for securing an automobile ignition key, including scanning an authorized user's fingerprint, as well as inputting a security code chosen by the authorized user. Verifying users whether they are authorized to access the automobile ignition key, allowing a user when verified, and denying access when the verification steps fails.
